The first room the AC didn't work and it smelled so bad. The second room the AC worked and smelled a little better. The toilet was nasty, poop on the outside. Bugs in the windows. Looks like for months the live bugs were crusty. The hallways were 86 degrees. Will never stay here again. The best western was much better. read more

Unfortunately, this hotel seems to be infested with roaches. I've found many many roaches in my 4 days spent here. The bed is worn out and quite uncomfortable as well. The room itself seems clean and the linens are good quality. But I just can't overlook so many roaches. read more

I'll start by saying this hotel is a common midway point for vacationers on their way down to Florida in the summer. Just by walking in the main doors, it is evident there are a few construction improvements being done; there is also a drastic difference in quality between the shabby third floor and the newly renovated fourth floor. I happened to be one of the vacationers looking for a late night stay on the way to Florida from Ohio. My party had three rooms booked and I was the first car to arrive around midnight at the hotel to check in, exhausted and ready to crash. Upon checking in, I headed to my third floor room with two queen beds. However, I was less than delighted to see my room had somehow....not been cleaned... the pictures attached are the lovely sights I encountered. I headed back to the front desk to express my concerns. The front desk service was the highlight of my trip. I had taken some pictures to show the woman at the front desk and immediately she began to search for a replacement. Due to the time of year (end of June), nearly all rooms in the hotel were full. The only room she was able to find was a king size handicap room. The replacement room was great and clearly more newly renovated than the previous room. The only disappointment with the new room was that our party included 11 people, so to lose a whole bed was difficult to accommodate for. The other two rooms we booked were situated beside the previous uncleaned room. Luckily, these other two rooms had been cleaned. Unluckily, they were less elegant than our new fourth floor room. The doors were especially very difficult to open and shut. The breakfast was decent- as decent as expected at a hotel such as this one. Overall a very frustrating experience made better by the awesome service. The price was relatively cheap so perhaps I got what I payed for. read more

As you can see from the photos, this room should not have been opened for guests. Arriving late in the evening on 3/25/23, we had no choice but to stay. After showing these pictures to the front desk the next morning, I asked for some type of compensation based on the quality of the room and what we paid. She said the manager wasn't in yet, but he would call me and felt quite sure something could be done. I paid the bill in full. The manager never called. I would avoid this hotel. The bed was very comfy. I do wish the TV had more channels but it didn't. This location sits off the side of the highway. Closest restaurant by foot is waffle house. Dairy Queen is not far and other restaurants are just one exit away. My check in was smooth. April was really nice when giving hotel info. They offer a continental breakfast but I always over sleep those times. Coffee is available through the day. My only complaint was the noise of the highway. Id rather hear the buzz of the AC. The room was a decent size and very clean. If I could get a good deal I would stay again. I paid more than I believe it was worth. read more

It's run down, not particularly well cared for and neglected. It's sparse decor reminds you why Comfort Inns are not really a good choice of a place to stay. It looked really inviting from the road but the rooms are well used. And what's this shit; no hot breakfast, no pool and no exercise equipment because of COVID? We needed a room for 6 in Cordele, GA. Airbnb and VRBO are not available. So this is what I get for $192 a night. A hotel with ceiling tiles missing in the un-conditioned halls. Strong paint smell. Holes in the bedroom walls. The staff were very nice and professional. It's too bad the condition of this obviously old hotel that needs more than getting a new coat of paint. This is a great hotel overall. I loved our suite. The staff was great and I loved the coffee. They put out fresh baked cookies but I only ever saw them out one time the four days we stayed there. The breakfast was a nice benefit to the hotel. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is the pool was tiny and right next to the highway. Sometimes it got quite loud with the big trucks going by and the entire time we were there the Jacuzzi was out of service. read more

But the decor of the hotel is completely outdated and needs remodeling. The paint is chipping everywhere the furniture is all scratched and dented. I'm trying to be objective and forget the nightmare night that was our stay here. Completely nothing to do with the hotel - our nine month old that wouldn't sleep and thought that his first time somewhere new was the time to poke at my shoulder tattoo all night. ugh. Anyway, the hotel worked out well. It's cheap, it's on the interstate and when we stayed there (spring '10) it was clean. It was also practically brand new -- but the service was fast and speedy. This hotel can be a decent deal as long as you realize what you are getting. It's a good size room with a separate living room with a work desk and a small kitchenette. The room is clean. There is free breakfast. So it is worth the $77 I paid to stay there. With that said, it is very rundown. There wee stains on the carpet in the hallway as we were walking to our room. Once we got to the room, we found tape over the peep hole, stains on the sofa, worn carpet, chipped cabinets, and holes in the walls. Worst of all was the sofa bed. It was so worn and thin that my son could not sleep on it open or closed. We even tried putting the couch cushions on the mattress to no avail. read more

We need a quick place to pull off in the middle of our travels from Florida. We chose this one at random. What we found was an extremely pleasant staff, a very modern and clean room, a beautiful pool and one of the best continental breakfast set ups I've seen in some time. The location is perfect because it was the only place on this exit but one exit up you have every kind of food and shopping you could need. We stayed in a "budget" room but felt as though we had upgraded. The area is definitely not a destination, but en route to where you are headed this would make an excellent resource stop. I'm extremely satisfied and will mark this as a rest stop for future travels for certain. Hope this helps you decide. read more

I am only giving the 4th star because the night manager was very friendly and apologetic and it is the only hotel that doesn't back up to the train tracks in Cordele. Our first room had several small brown bugs, about the size of a house fly. They were clustered around the refrigerator. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming that a previous guest left some food laying around or something. I did not get the feeling that there was any sort of infestation or see any bugs anywhere else in the hotel. We were moved to a suite after calling the front desk. Definitely best hotel in this area. I went through Priceline and got a great deal. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast was more than filling. They also have fresh baked cookies available which I thought was a great touch. The woman who was in charge of putting out that breakfast was the sweetest lady I've ever met and smiled the whole time. The front desk clerk was very attentive and you can tell she cared about our stay. All rooms have refrigerator and microwave. They have name brand shampoos, lotions, and conditioners for the bathrooms which were also super clean. The only complaint I have that is that the tv was not in HD and a bit fuzzy at times. One star I would give it 0 stars after 100's of Choice stays this was the worst experience I have ever had, Open outlets non working TV pull out bed springs missing no bed covers and when asked for a pillow from front desk, the response was "we have no extra "If you use your choice points you will be treated like a piece of garbage!!This establishment is privately owned and operated so corporate office has nothing to do with this Comfort inn from the receptionist to the Owner Management stay away!!and if you have a complaint the spineless manager will call the local police yes the police. Room was nice. A large room with lots of space. Even though it faced the highway was not as noisy as expected. A softball tournament was taking place at the high school just down the road, and three of the teams were staying at the hotel. This made for a very crowded breakfast area, but we did not have any noise from any of the teams. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, room was clean. Only two complaints:. The heater ran constantly even though we had the temp set at 70 and the auto feature set. Also the TV Channels were difficult to enter as they required 4 digits, but the listing only provided a two digit number. Neither of these were big deals. We would definitely recommend and will stay again when heading to Florida. read more

Let me start off by saying do not book here! I could probably go on for pages telling you how disappointed and disgusted I was with my stay of only 2 hrs being there! I was on my way to Florida with my family and being a choice Reward's elite member I decided to use one of my reward nights to lay over and get some rest because it was late. Now throughout the year I stay at many hotels because of my work. This ended up being an experience that was the worst I have ever endured! From the front desk to the owner.. which by the way this hotel is privately ran so when I told the owner I was calling corporate he said go ahead they can't do anything it's his hotel. From no sheets or pillows available for the pullout couch . Plumbing sticking out of the walls, missing electrical wall plates, top blanket on bed filthy! This place is a definite no go!!! Rude, inconsiderate, liars.. 0 stars and by the way if you tell them you are not happy and calling corporate they will change it in there system to make it look like you were never there! Ok, we stayed here on our way to Florida. It was the perfect choice right off 75. Staff was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and bed super comfy! I left my Bluetooth speaker in my room at checkout and do you know a maid brought it out to the parking lot as we were packing up our car! A $150 speaker! I highly recommend staying here if you are ever driving through! Oh, and the free breakfast was pretty good too! read more

I was involved in an automobile accident and was dropped off by the hwy patrol at Comfort Inn and Suites in Cordele to stay with my 3 children until my husband could come get us from FL. They shut off the water last night due to a busted water line without letting anyone know so I had no water to wash baby bottles or even wash our hands. THEN they shut off the electricity this morning for repairs WITHOUT LETTING ANYONE KNOW which means the air conditioner immediately went off with the lights. And I'm there with 3 kids?! So needless to say we weren't happy and left ASAP. WORST SITUATION EVER! How can they not at least call the rooms and alert the customers of the situation? And first when we called to let them know the water wasn't working, they told us the water would only be off for a short time. Which was obviously a lie because it ended up being off all night and they didn't get repairmen until the next day. It wasn't until we called back later they said it was going to stay off all night. And of course there was no coffee or complementary breakfast the next morning and if it hadn't been for my husband overhearing them saying the power was being shut off, we would have had no idea when the lights and air conditioner went off all of a sudden. Yuck!!! Upon arrival, our toilet did not flush. Room was not clean. Crumbs all over carpet, toilet was dirty, and water ring on end table. Front desk staff was not helpful. We asked for another suite room, but she did not have another suite that would sleep 5 people. She said she could not give us two rooms for price we paid for suite, so we left. Enjoyed our stay. After reading another review about traffic noise, I requested the quiet side of the hotel. I was told the standard rooms are all on the noisy side but I could upgrade to a bigger and better room on the quiet side. It was a small amount and glad we did. read more

Unfortunately lots of road noise (I-75) all night long if you have to stay on the interstate side of bldg....nothing they can do about it..its just where it was built. Left impending devastation coming into southern Florida with hurricane Irma....worried that I-75 would be grid-locked, so we left early to make our reservation. Having driven through the night, we arrived here with a reservation good for today...as well as another couple we found in the lobby. Very few cars in the lot, and as we were here at 10am (and tired)..asked if it would be possible to get a room earlier if it was cleaned. She said NO...we could not check in until 3pm. What great customer service at a time when weary travelers may not even have a home left. The lack of compassion was unbelievable. Never stay here again. read more

Not a great experience. Stopped by early to let them know we would be arriving back very late that evening for check in and even left our phone number. Arrived back late to check in only to find out they had no hot water. It was too late to go elsewhere and they said they were working on it so we stayed. Got up the next morning and still no hot water. When we checked out they offered no discount on the room rate and we were told the manager was trying to find a plumber. I only gave it a star because Yelp required it...Google and 5 other hotel reservation apps say this is pet friendly...when we went to check in the large mean and rude lady lurched across the desk yelling "we don't take pets! The owner hates pets" she didn't care that Booking.com and other reputable online sites said they did...when posed with losing out on TWO suites she said "so, I don't care". Our travel companions who didn't have pets stayed because the surrounding places were horrid. Fast forward two hours later when the hotel staff BURST INTO THEIR ROOM UNANNOUNCED yelling "you have a dog!!" ...their two young girls were scared and felt threatened. Little did the obtrusive staff know that WE had the dog 60 miles away still looking for a hotel that honored their word. Our friend's children are now shaken and scared. We stayed at the Country Inn because they claimed to be pet friendly - they aren't. At 6:30 pm we got a nasty call from the front desk claiming our dogs were barking. We were in the room and one of the dogs had barked once. Who would guess dogs bark. I would understand if the two dogs were barking at night, but 6:30 pm? Otherwise the hotel was fine. read more

Room was very clean and fresh. The hotel parallels the interstate so half of the rooms receive a significant amount of road noise. Since I wear hearing aids, the noise didn't bother me as I don't wear them while sleeping. But if you're a light sleeper, this is one hotel to pass up. The wifi did not work in the room. I checked with the front desk and the desk clerk reset it but it still didn't connect. The shower head was broken and someone apparently attempted to fix it with duck tape. Obviously duck tape and water don't mix as the water from the shower head sprayed in all directions. From the looks of this hotel, the maintenance personnel should be replaced (or get their act in gear) as it is a nice hotel but there are small tell tale signs of maintenance neglect. The breakfast was the typical pastries, bagels, waffles, juice, coffee, etc. The only restaurants close to the hotel is a waffle house nearby and a DQ in a gas station on the opposite side of the interstate exit. If you're looking for anything else to eat, you'll have to drive to the next exit two miles north. read more
