Gentleman at the front best was great! Very informative with local area, super nice, great personalit. The room we had 118 initially we thought not too bad. But once we settled in and started to realize the stains very worn carpet, rush and mold spots on the lamp shade, smudges on window and mirrors. Worst of it was the must and mold damp smell coming from the air conditione. We ended up having to turn it off due to fear of getting sick and being summer in Flordia sleeping with no AC was not that enjoyabl. Our son has asthma and really bad allergie. We all woke up with stuffy noses. We will not be back and we won't be recommending this hotel/inn to anyone. read more

This hotel is a health hazard wreaking of mold and mildew, as stated in other reviews. Please do not stay here. While the river walk is gorgeous, it is not worth it! They shampoo the carpets (everything is carpeted) with a potent perfume to try and mask it which is extremely toxic smelling and painful on the throat. There is no ventilation bc you can't open the window and the bathroom doesn't work - you'll be suffocating in steam if you shower. The rooms are dirty and dingy and the fridge was broken. The front desk employees and staff are very kind and can't help the conditions of the hotel but try to accommodate what they can. I feel badly for them. Clearly whoever the owners or managers are have completely neglected the condition of the hotel and water damage. We both have severe allergies and were sick the next few days after sleeping one night here. read more

Centrally located to so many things. We went to do a few scuba diving certifications at Jupiter Dive Center. The area is laden with good food, good shopping, & good people. I'd stay there again next time we go! Some rooms are more upgraded than others. Remember that it's still a motel, albeit in a nice area. Manage your expectations. We spent 3 nights at the Best Western Intercoastal in February, 2026. It was great!! The level of cleanliness was amazing. It's in an upscale neighborhood, parking was plentiful and very close to the hotel entrance. The location is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. It's right on the Riverwalk which is lovely and a great way to start the day. The free breakfast is typical for this type of hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again for spring training games. read more

Place is decent enough but looking tired on the inside. The hallways have wallpaper that is falling off, and the room I had was very musty at check in. Great price, excellent location, less than a mile to beachfront. Great proximity to grocery stores and restaurants. There is also an adjacent boardwalk that offers a nice stroll over water, ending at a marina area. We watched the sun set over some trees from the boardwalk. It was lovely. Be prepared with bug spray though. Our king bed was quite firm with pillows that felt overstuffed in my opinion. Admittedly, I am quite high maintenance when it comes to my sleep. Of course, these complaints are much better than the opposite - no one wants a sagging mattress. Overall, a great price with an excellent location close to the beach. read more

My husband I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We stayed for a week while visiting family close by and pretty much interacted with most of the staff. Bill Norris, one of the managers at the front desk was outstanding. He was friendly and professional in guiding us to local restaurants and even provided us a telephone number of a local luggage repair shop. Carolina from housekeeping found my expensive sunglasses in the room and placed them on my nightstand. We had been busy retracing my steps all day only to return and see them in the room. We unfortunately were given a room on the first floor. This floor is the last floor to be renovated as the hotel was full. Yes, it needed work, thus the 4 stars. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it's staff, location breakfast, and well lit parking lot. At breakfast we were able to hear people speak to Bill on their way out and thank him for his genuine hospitality and how much they enjoyed their stay, as well. Next trip to Jupiter, we will choose This Best Western !! read more

I ran a half marathon about a half mile away & wanted a hotel so I could rest & relax in a hot tub. I reserved a king room with a jet tub & when I checked in, I was advises the tub didn't work. I asked for a room with a working tub & was advised none of them worked. This was extremely disappointing as I only reserves for this reason. The website did not state they were not working & under construction. also, bathroom is nice but the towel rack is not high enough so the towel covers the toilet paper roll. Poor placement. The staff was great & the room was nice. One star for the jet tub not working. read more

I had higher expectations for this place... it is receiving 2 stars just because of price and location. It is easy to get to from the highway and relatively close to the beach. The pictures online are somewhat accurate.... It does have a fountain out front but it isn't working, the lobby has been updated and is kept clean. The hallway we stayed off of had peeling wallpaper without baseboards and I saw paint samples up while walking through- obviously in the midst of a renovation. The carpets were in much need of a good vacuuming. Our room was hot, humid, and dark when entering. It was decorated like the pictures. With it being an older building with standard height popcorn ceilings and oversized furniture it feels cramped. Once we got the air the right temperature it was still very humid and smells mildewed. The carpet was in need of a more detailed vacuuming- under the edge of the beds, in between the furniture etc. The linens were clean and so were all the table tops. But the beds have obviously not been rotated- the inside sections near the nightstand were dipped and worn to the point you fell into them and all the pillows are in need of replacement. It did have a view of the intercostal and had heavy drapes to block out light when we needed it. There is no in room microwave. The bathroom... found multiple drain flies and the door hinges need oil badly plus there was a mildewed spot in the back of the door where towels had been hung. Big surprise the floors are in need of a good cleaning here too... the new floor tile (rustic wood pattern) makes them look dirtier. Shower pressure is good but the bathroom fan is worthless even with just taking a lukewarm shower. The new shower floor tile was installed wrong and doesn't actually drain properly towards the floor drain so you get puddles. This is made worse with a slow drain. Plus the shower curtain is barely long enough to keep the water in. The cleaning staff smiled and were polite to us every time we came in contact with them. While the front desk staff didn't acknowledge us unless we went directly to them to ask for something. We will definitely not be staying here again... there are other options just down the road within a similar price point. read more

It's a bit meh, a bit okay. Blend of old & new. Newly tiled bathroom, which is beautiful. Great comfy bed & plush mattress with 5 pillows. Nice, quiet a/c wall unit. But, the room furniture is old (the chair arms were sticky... eww), carpeting is filthy (one walk across the room in white sox & they were unclean) & it doesn't smell fresh... no smoke or chemically smells... just stuffy. Savanah or Sonorra or whatever the old dame's name is at the front desk is a fruit loop... an unhappy one. It took me 15-min to check in after asking "How are you today?"... dear lord, she told me. She told me about her awful job, how the next shift is always late, her medical problems, that she has no health insurance, gossip about guests who walked by, then started to go on about family problems before I interrupted & asked a bunch of q's about the area, that I really didn't care about, just to get her to stop complaining & check me in. There's more, but... She didn't program either key card properly, so I dreaded having to return to the front desk for round 2. She then complained about the "machine" for 2-min (nah, it was probably you), with 3 other people at the desk (employees, I think) who also were in a non-stop streak of complaining. Dear lord, what is in the water in Jupiter?! All in all, the $100 price isn't worth it. I stayed in better hotels for $30 less. Okay accommodations, but the place doesn't feel like a happy home. Next time, I'd find something else. 3* out of 5. read more

We liked the location. It is a small, quite hotel with a good staff. The back of the hotel looks over the intercostal waterway so you can sit at the pool and watch the sun set and the boats cruise by. It is close to hotels, restaurants, a dog park beach, and the beach. read more

Wonderful stay here..I LOVED Tom, the evening front desk manager. Witty, charming and informative. He told me that 'Whatever happens in Jupiter, stays in Jupiter'..I laughed. The rooms were immaculate, clean and functional. Bed was sooo comfy. Their free breakfast between 7-10 is good. Outside, in the back, is a beautiful pier one can walk out on, it hugs the intercoastal waterway and the clumps of mangrove. Tom said Manatess frolic here all the time. Didn't se any but saw lots of other sea creatures. Nice place to stay and not too pricey. read more

Feces in bed... after 2 nights pulled back cover to reveal this, so grossed out. Clearly they didn't change sheets. After complaining to Best Western manager calls me, insults me, then offers to split the difference. Ya no thank you. As a transplant patient i have a weak immune system hence freaking out a little. I will never come back here again. Husband checked me in as I waited in the car. They assumed he did not have a reservation and told him no vacancies. Hubby says i do have a reservation. Front desk said oh we have one that just came up or said opened up. He gets through that. We unload the car into room. I then come out to walk the property, but ask the same employees where is the pool. They say it's closed until wed and can't even sit on the deck. I stood on the first floor and there is water damage throughout. You can see a line on wall two feet from floor where water was. None of these facts were disclosed on website. The main reasons for checking was to spend a few days to recover from a surgery, be poolside and walk the bridge. There is clearly water damage throughout and when we asked about it at the front desk we were lied to and told no flood/water damage. The second attendant offered me another room but it would take a while. He never got back to me. We asked a cleaning lady and she admitted yes there was. My room ceiling also had bubbling peeling paint in both bathroom and sleeping area. They have drink vending machines that only take dollars, a kitchen without even filtered water. There is a coffee machine in the room. Do they expect I use tap water? Gross. I came back today and saw room was not even cleaned. That was it for me. Ended up checking out a night early. Hubby gave joe, night front desk clerk, the key back and advised room never got cleaned. He seemed like I was bothering him at work asking about it. Said I had to call and ask to get room cleaned. He says oh they should have told you. I say no did not know. I find that weird as they barely had any guests there judging by the parking lot. I advised Joe I did not have a good stay. Snagged a great deal on Priceline for this waterfront hotel. I pulled into the parking lot in front of the main entrance which was damn near full minus a few spots close to the main road. Not a big deal. We checked in, our room key was ready to go, and we made our way to our first floor room. The room was decently sized with clean linens and lots of outlets were easy to locate. I hate hotel rooms that have a short supply of outlets, frustrates me. The bathroom was large and incredibly clean. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying, full stocked, and well organized. We didn't make it down there until close to closing time and we were worried there would be a shortage of options but everything was still available. I will definitely hunt for deals at this great hotel the next time we are in the area. read more

This hotel is in a great location near all the things you'd want to be near in that area. It is not the newest or the best, but is a great deal for the price. I found the staff to all be very friendly and the the room was clean. The room was a great size and even had a small sofa. Overall great please to stay for business or with the family. It was pretty rainy when we arrived so I did not walk around the property too much. I can't comment much on the exterior of the place. In regards to the pool, there are beautiful beaches and rivers minutes away, I can do without the pool. The hotel concierge was nice. He reminded me of Gru from Despicable Me. :) The room was clean but it needed to be aired out. It smelled stuffy, almost as if no one had stayed in there for months! The room with a king sized bed was large and it had a nice couch. There were plenty of channels on the TV. There was a mini fridge and microwave as well as a coffee maker. I saw no stains or building damage anywhere. The bed was comfortable. My favorite part about the room was that it had double curtains. In broad daylight, no light came in if the curtains were shut. The artificial lighting of the room is pretty bad so keep that in mind if you are on a business trip. Be careful with that dial in the bathroom!! I thought it was an extractor; it turned out to be a heater. The breakfast was plentiful. Eggs, bacon, pastries, waffles, bagels, bread, yogurt, fruit, etc. The hotel was fairly priced considering the amenities and area. I loved how quiet and peaceful the area was. A couple notes.. by no means will you ever be allowed to check-in at this hotel before 3:00pm. Also this is NOT A pet-friendly property. Upon arriving at 1:30p, after driving from California, we were told to drive around until 3pm. We asked for the manager, MR. DESAI, he came down and noticed our dog. The upstairs hallway reeked of mildew, the pool was closed indefinitely, the lighting in the room was so dim we needed a cane and a dog, the shower floor was slick as ribbons and there was no grabber bar, nor was there a fan in the bathroom, there was one tiny bar of soap and no other amenities, the walls were paper thin...every sound was audible from the adjoining rooms, the late check out that was promised on check-in was rescinded wreaking havoc on our plans and the final straw....the sausage served on the continental breakfast bar is strongly believed to be the source of later intestinal distress. In addition, the staff were all very helpful and friendly. They all seemed to be happy working there too and it shows in their work. We just stayed in this hotel with so much disappointment that I need to review this hotel. I usually do not even bother but this was so bad in my opinion that I thought it should be shared. If you don't want to keep reading no problem but just know that this hotel has no customer service and totally uncaring, apathetic and indifferent staff. The hotel as a great location - easy to find, easy to park. That is where the good ends. We were not able to check in early but when walking through hallway to pool, every room was being cleaned with the doors wide open but more were clean and ready than not so it did not make sense that we could not check in. Finally checked in and room was dark and fairly clean but questionable in some areas especially the bathroom. The bathroom was tiny. We were supposed to have received a bag at check in with information about a wedding we were there to attend. When we asked about it they said "we don't have any bag. Maybe somebody else has it" most importantly was the absolute uncaring response to the question of where it would go since it had our name on it. The idea that it would have been given to someone else was apparently acceptable to the hotel and looking for it or trying to find it was NOT going to happen. The final response was "umm sorry" which I responded back to - I don't think you are sorry. They stayed knocking in the door to clean the room very early in the morning - when we asked that they come back later at about 1pm the response was NO. So we chose not to have our room cleaned that day - again when told the front desk they could have cared less. We asked for a late check out and was told by the evening front desk person ok and no problem but the next day we were called, door knocked on with do not disturb on door even prior to check out time. When we talked to front desk and told them we were given a 1pm check out they no that's not ok. Even though we were told it was ok. Then the manager started calling. This is totally unacceptable! Complaining or taking to the manager was a total waste of time. This hotel is a lacking ANY customer service. I would not recommend his place ever! We have never been so disappointed. How does any hotel have so many apathetic staff that are truly indifferent including the general manager. Wow! read more
