Checked in 1 day -left the next BUT not without being visited by ROACHES. I reported this to the front desk the next morning as the evidence presented itself in a herd of roaches at 1 am. I asked for the managers name which is Lakisha. She spoke to me today, the day after I retuned home. She explained that I should have requested a change of room at 1 AM instead of staying there overnight. I explained that waking everyone up at 1 am to complain and as she aid change a room would have not been possible BUT reporting it the next morning was. This place is fairly close to the beach which is sweet. And great selling point. Don't expect the ritz. It's pretty basic. The price is decent. The night can be a bit sketchy I say this because a guest outside smoking something - let's say "green" Made the whole front desk smell of it. The room was okay. It wasn't the newest or updated place. Again pretty basic. Surprisingly had a small fridge and microwave and with littles that's pretty useful. The breakfast was pretty good. Scrambled eggs, boiled, sausage and bacon. I was even surprised they had a waffle maker .... All this to say is that the breakfast is probably the best thing about this place. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would come again just cause it's close to where we wanna be - close to family. read more

Oh lord where do I Start so my wife and I came down to Florida for a wedding and you know we don't travel as much as we used to so it was only for a couple of days so a little family and then the wedding. So we drove from north Florida to Jupiter had the reservations at La Quinta. Where the booking. Com web sight said it was 4 LOL!! This place could of been a hourly hotel the elevator was the slowest on the east coast, the room door look battle born had to use my shoulder to get it open, and it was musty and Humid inside. My Father in law's asthma was kicked up a notch to the point he could not sleep. He was better off outside and as soon as he walked In, He would get sick after about 20 minutes. Now on top of all this the place was a full house most of the wedding party from Brazil was staying there. We were all getting charged around 250.00$ a night. The place needs TLC if it that busy the have made there money back time to fix it or tear it down and start a new. It's sad to see a Corporation that size just does not care. OH,OH,Oh!!!, I almost forgot got the Buffet this could have been Great. The first day I got down there late so it looked like a BOMB when off in the Waffle irons there was waffle batter every where. The serving tongs were just sitting on the counter and they had been used for everything eggs ,bacon you. Name it they were used for it and they were sitting directly on the counter. Look I am A Chef so I have High food Safety Standards but this was not even safety standards especially in a state Like Florida, where bacteria grows at a geometric rate anyway if you go to Jupiter Florida and you need to lay your head down for a night you can goto LaQuinta or you could check your options. Like the Beach or the carI know this is a little ruff I am just tired of company's and individuals that offer a service or services, like hotel chains like LaQuinta and they don't put money back in to the business. I have stayed at LaQuinta in other states and me or my friends did not get sick in less then 12 hours from mold and had corrosion on all the metal faucets bathtub,fixtures,, So please put money back into it!!! And then people would understand stand why you charge what you charge for there services. So I guess what I am saying is Fix it you cheap lazy sack and the only reason I gave it a two star is the location to town and Restuants and there's a Starbucks a five minute walk away and a grocery store. read more

I'm honestly shocked at how bad my stay at this LaQuinta was. From the moment we arrived, the overwhelming smell of dogs and feet hit us as soon as we stepped inside. The first room had a fridge sitting in the middle of the floor, which was incredibly inconvenient. Worse, it was adjacent to a family where the mother was yelling and cussing at her kids. I called the front desk, and the woman was very nice, accommodating us with the only other available room, which was on the opposite side of the floor. But as we walked down the hall to the new room, the floors were visibly warped and detaching, and the smell of old must was unbearable. But nothing could have prepared me for the room itself. It was just as bad. The bed had a single thin blanket, and there were only two towels--no hand towels or washcloths. The complimentary Dove soap and lotions were half-used, which is just gross. The tub had visible mold and mildew around it, and there were signs of mold on the ceiling as well. The sink didn't drain, and the toilet didn't flush properly. The worst part? The bathroom light was connected to a super loud vent that made it impossible to turn on the light without being blasted with noise. The AC unit was so noisy we could hardly sleep, and we ended up just sleeping in our clothes after coming from a wedding because we didn't feel comfortable getting into the bed. We woke up at 5:30 AM and couldn't leave fast enough. I get that it's a LaQuinta, but it's a Wyndham property located in Jupiter, so I expected way better than this. I've stayed in $100-a-night hotels that were far cleaner and more comfortable than this one. I would NEVER stay here again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

Wow, apparently Florida folks are spoiled! These reviews are hilarious. I guess everyone in Florida lives at Mar-a-Lago Club down the road, and anything less than than is garbage! This is nicer than 90% of the places I've slept in. This is 2-star hotel (in the hotel rating system). Expect that, and your expectations will be exceeded. If you want a 3 or 4 or 5 star hotel, you should go to one of those instead. Y'all are like someone complaining that a McDonald's double cheeseburger is terrible because it doesn't taste like grass fed and finished ground filet mignon. The lobby area and front desk is the best part of the hotel. Lakesha was very pleasant checking us in. That was the end of the positive experience. Room was small to begin with. Mold around the welded shut windows. Smoke alarm hanging off the wall by its wires. Two bath towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Night time security door lock had been ripped off and missing. Upgraded to the suite to enhance my experience. The living area that included a desk was missing a chair to work on my laptop and a sconce cover. The sink areas overhead lighting does not work in this unit. I couldn't see my face all I could see was the top of my head when shaving. The toilet and tub area was next to the bed. The AC unit was 10 inches from the other side of the bed. Both undesirable. The AC was super loud and turned off and on all night preventing a good night's rest. Usually in my experience these big name brand hotels are usually pretty decent for a couple of nights. Unfortunately this La Quinta has seen better days. I will say it was the cheapest hotel I could find in the area that wasn't a motel or something like that. Overall it's just pretty old and beat up. Carpets are all stained, has that old mildewy smell. They had some sings up saying it was getting remodeled, but I didn't see any actual work being done in the areas I was in. The gym was also closed if you are into that and the ice machine is only on the first floor. I was also informed at checkin that there is no housekeeping service on the weekend. My room was pretty tiny. Not sure if all rooms are like that but mine was one of the smaller hotel rooms I have seen. The "bathroom" just has the shower and toilet and the sink is outside next to the entryway. The room itself looked relatively clean although you could see several areas where shoddy work had been done. However my biggest issue with the room itself was the shower. The shower head was absolute garbage and while there was plenty of water pressure, only the finest thinest stream of water would come out of it. I also noticed it was leaking and had some shoddy repair done to it, not sure if that was causing the issues. However it was not fun taking a shower with barely any water. The bed on the other hand was pretty good and so were the pillows. I slept well and the AC kept the room cold. The room also had a microwave and a mini fridge in case you need that. It's not the worst place I've stayed at but not the best and in my opinion not worth the price I paid. I guess they can charge that because of the location. Upon my arrival, I noticed there were several people living in the woods right next to the parking lot. I walked into the lobby, which was very nice, and was met with a maintenance man at the front desk who was vaping. Completely unprofessional. I was assigned a room only for it to be completely disgusting. There was mold in the bathroom and buildup in the faucet. It is poorly managed and I question the safety. This is by and far the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at. Reservations: I made two reservations, one for a double queen room and one for single king room. Upon check-in they said they didn't have any king rooms available. I showed them the reservation made weeks in advance and they said that the reservation was for two queens. I showed them specifically in the email where it spelled out the two different rooms with two different confirmation numbers, and they couldn't have cared less. To top it off, the man in front of us walked in without a reservation, requested a single king, and they gave him that room. Amenities: The pool was not heated, had no lights in the pool, had no lights in the pool deck area, and no towels provided. The door to enter the hotel from the pool area remained unlocked at all times. The provided breakfast was inedible. The 'make your own waffle" was a neon blue when it came out. Artificial "blueberry" I guess? Only option. Eggs were powdered. Bacon was microwaved. Yogurt was expired. Rooms: The absolute worst part. The doors to get into the rooms had to be body-slammed to enter. They stuck so bad that one of us fell after throwing our body into the door to enter. Immediately upon entering we noticed the issues (many are noted in the attached photos). Bathroom had poop smears in the toilet. The shower basin had hair in it. The faucet had water stains. The bedding was NOT clean/changed. There were disgusting stains on the bedding, and there were chewed/spit sunflower seeds IN the bed (under the sheets) clearly indicating that they were used. The photos on the walls had greasy fingerprints. The bathroom tile was separated and rusty/moldy. They had attempted to spackle some tile separation and just... left it. There was a partly smoked cigar just sitting on the dresser. There were smeared boogers on the walls in multiple places. The sheets on the bed did not fit the mattresses. The chair in the room was ripped and peeling. The dresser was broken and scotch taped? The television had six channels. This was, to repeat, the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had. The only reason most people stay at La Quinta hotels is because their pet fees are significantly lower than most. So, for those travelers with pets AND budget restraints, I guess they can't be beat. Recently, I identified as such and lodged one night at the Jupiter LaQuinta Inn. Overall, I would stay here again, in a pinch. However, it is NOT a totally pleasant stay. The hotel is in an excellent location! It's close to the beach, top restaurants, and shopping (including Fresh Market, next door). It is located on the intercoastal waterway in a decent area, sans absolutely anything sketchy. in fact, this hotel is, by far, the only potentially sketchy establishment in the area. Also, the pool area is very nice and well maintained, there is plenty of shaded parking, the lobby is nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the room was yucky. It was in desperate need of a deep cleaning, the lighting was super dim and lacked warmth (and a few bulbs). luckily, I happened to have had bulbs on my car. The noise was unbelievable, I really didn't get to sleep, because I could hear the doors slamming as people entered and exited the building. Plus the AC was kicking on and off loudly. I. not really a light sleeper. the overall vibe of the room was what I. isn't imagine as like jail, just depressing. one positive was the lack of carpet, though that didn't help much with the awful stale smell. Stayed here for my brothers wedding. It was clean and neat. We were able to store our bags with the front desk while we grabbed lunch and a little sun. They gave a small pool. It begins to get shade in early afternoon. Beware there is a wasp nest in the bushes closest to the road but inside the pool area. When we asked for towels we were given bath towels. When I showed the worker that they were too small. He said that was all they had...all they had? We were the only ones at the pool! We have a dog and they put us in the dirtiest, smelliest room I've ever paid to sleep in. We complained to the manager and were given a choice of other rooms, as she admitted to a cleanliness and mold problem on the first floor. The room we ultimately stayed in, 300, was barely acceptable, so we cut our stay from two nights to one. The dark corridors leading to the rooms leant a creepy vibe to the property, which was only made worse by an altercation on the second floor that required police intervention the morning of our departure. The hallway carpets were dirty, badly stained and some sort of scented cover-up had been applied to hide the smell. There was a black, curly hair (not ours) on the towel hook in the just-cleaned room, so we didn't use that. No hand towels were provided so I got some from the front desk. The pool was laden with debris, presumably from high winds the day before, so we didn't use it. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and it seemed like they were all new, and not very happy. During a lengthy conversation, the manager gave the impression she was chronically embarrassed to be charging people to stay here, at least with respect to the "dog rooms". Wyndham, tear down this building! To end on a positive note, the free breakfast was ok and hasn't provoked an immune response... yet. read more

We rented 3 rooms for 2 nights. All the rooms had a musty, mildew smell with obvious past & possible current water damage issues. Even the floors through out were warped. My husband's room was the worse of the 3, visible mold in bathroom all over & even on ceiling in the room & on sheets. Ceiling was peeling from water damage. The smell & mold was so bad he asked for a new room & was told the hotel was booked. Later that night around 11pm, he could no longer take it, took pictures & made a recoding of the room & was on his way to sleep in the truck & told front desk he wanted the GM to call him in morning & all of the sudden there was another room available. The next day the assistant manager called him & said they would comp his room from 1st night which meant they room X amount of the bill & she admitted she had not even seen the room, but maintenance had. So failure on maintenance & house keeping to not bring it to the attention of management rooms that have these obvious issues & smells. When we got to our first room, it was uncleaned. Dirty t shirt on the bed, toilet seat up, towels on the floor. We were unsure if there was someone in the room which was actually scary. When we went to the front desk, she apologized and showed us to our new room. There was no discount or anything to reconcile the situation. Our new room was filthy. The carpet next to the AC unit was soaking wet, there were cigarette burns on our comforter, and there was an overall stench to the room. Horrible!! Zero stars. I made a reservation through hotels.com to evacuate Tampa from hurricane Ian with our 2 sons and dogs which they said they conveyed to the property. I called the hotel directly yesterday morning to confirm our room for late arrival (we were scrambling to prep our house for the hurricane) I spoke to a nice lady with a southern accent the manager who assured me that late arrival would be no problem. She even researched the availability of an electric outlet for our electric vehicle on property calling me back to say no, sorry. Arrived at 3:45 am exhausted and stressed after driving 4 hours in the rain. Front desk guy just stared at us... He had 'closed out' for the night and canceled our reservation. And pointed out that we had been charged for the room. No, we could not have the rooms we had been charged for, they were not 'designated' dog rooms (he said he called the property GM to ask). No, the general manager would not make an exception for people under an emergency hurricane evacuation order at 4am. No, corporate Wyndham could not make them make an exception (the 1st and 2nd person answering the Wyndham line hung up on my husband, the 3rd person Emma or Ella was actually sympathetic and tried to be helpful). No, they could not find another Wyndham property anywhere nearby that could accommodate us. No, they could not refund the money we paid for the room they canceled after we confirmed for late arrival. Front desk guy was empathetic but unempowered to do anything. They were clearly overbooked. UNBELIEVABLE and unacceptable at any time, but during a state of emergency totally apalling! I emailed Governor Ron DeSantis at 5am while my husband was trying to get help from Wyndham corporate to describe what happened. I will be escalating this incident to all appropriate entities. Wyndham is horrid. Don't give them your business. Blessings to Jupiter Beach Resort for letting us check in at 6am with our dogs with courtesy and grace. read more

My wife and I booked a two night stay for Jan. 24 & 25, 2019. Good news / bad news. Good News: Superficially La Quinta has spent considerable money on modern decorations, fixtures and furniture. Absolutely top notch! Bedding was fresh and clean. Bad News: The floors and carpeting are filthy and worn out. I had to put some serious muscle to open and close the door to our room. Additionally, the security latch was stuck and inoperable. In the breakfast area (9:00am) all tables were dirty and the food was "not good". Fruit consisted of a bowl of oranges and scrambled eggs were made of something other than eggs??? My wife had a waffle that was very good but only margarine was available (no butter). I am baffled by the beautiful cosmetic amenities but would discourage anyone from booking a room based on website photos. read more

This is the worst hotel my husband and I have ever stayed at it totally ruined our vacation to Florida. Our reservation was for four days, I wear a brace on my knee and after we checked in at the office and they charged our credit card they told us the elevators are out and all guest have to use stairs to get to the rooms we were on the second floor. So I remind you I wear a knee brace so after taking all our luggage up two flight of stairs we get to our room and it seem like everything would be okay other than having to walk up stairs every time we leave and return we go to ice machine and its out of order. Then as I noticed in the room there's only 2 towels and half a roll of toilet tissue, no shampoo or soap and no hairdryer. We had to ask for towels every morning and the only gave us 2, We decided to go to Walmart and buy a 4 pack of toilet tissue , shampoo , bath soap, ice and hair dryer and thought we would pick up some hot pockets to put in microwave to hold us over till we can go out to dinner, but to our surprise the microwave in the room didn't work either. My point is if you want to go to Florida to have a great vacation DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE calling this place a Hotel is unfortunately a big LIE. One star is actually to good. read more

Not only are the floors in the lobby, elevator, and hallways so dirty, once you get into your actual room it feels like a run down motel! There's literally MOLD on the ceiling. My room does not have enough light and the bedside lamp doesn't work. It's a small room with a king bed. The bathroom vent is loud and annoying. It's very small. I like that it has a refrigerator. The floor in the hallway leading to our room is peeling and lifting and very dirty. The only positive is that we were able to bring our dog. read more

Stayed here for a few days while attending a wedding with family. Upon check in we met Ivan and he was outstanding. Extremely courteous and humble. He let us know that we were too early for checkin but would store our luggage while we enjoyed the pool (get towels from desk) and surrounding area. He promised to do his best and let us know as soon as our room was available. Ivan exceeded our expectations in not only getting us a room quuckly but a much needed 2nd bed. His exemplary customer service makes him ideal for the service industry. He wanted to make us happy and he succeeded. We continued to see him late into the evening so his work ethic is unwavering. The room was fresh and bath clean. Beds were comfy. We also found the breakfast buffet to be an added bonus. The hotel is surrounded by places such as restaurants, shops and bars , all within walking distance. A short walk over the bridge you will find the start of a beautiful riverwalk. Enjoy read more

Spare toilet paper roll was the smallest I've seen ever. Worse than dollar store ones. Room smelled weird. Underlay of cleaner over urine, although dogs are supposed to stay on the first floor. We were not on the first floor. Elevator acting up. A guest across the hall warned us not to take a chance and use stairs. Modernize! Get with it! Room needs more electrical outlets. I had endured a week stay at this place only because it was a deal through priceline.com ; & close to work for me. The internet was very intermittent and very annoying. The front desk staff is accommodating. Bottom line...if you're looking for a clean, luxurious stay ...this is NOT the place.
