They did a good job of clearing the beach of the nasty sargassum weed.

We like this place. South end of Singer Island. Nice beach. High prices. Steep climb out of the ocean can be difficult for some.

I've been vacationing here for about 20 years now. I like it a lot. It's a terrific place for families. For me it's the combination of the beach and the pools that make the trip. Like other Marriott timeshare properties it has outdoor grills so you can cook a nice meal yourself. The rooms are clean and the other resort accommodations are just fine. There is a marketplace shop that you can buy necessitates at, including breakfast foods. There is mini-golf and a small splash park for the kids. There's a kiddie pool for the very little ones plus two large hot tubs and an adult pool. Also a small gym. Definitely recommended.

Fast check in We had a very spacious room with a beautiful balcony in a sitting area that had a great ocean view... Highly recommend staying here

Stayed here for 5 days 4 nights. We have a king bed with small kitchen (sink and plates etc.), no cooking surfaces. We rely on the microwave. Our balcony overlooks the parking lot. We enjoyed our room, it was simple and comfortable. Although when the AC is off, I can hear someone talking next door. I feel safe in this resort, the elevators use keycards to access floors so random people cannot enter. Same goes for the pool area and beach gate. Theres a laundry room in the building and I love that it's free. Just ask them for laundry detergent. We grabbed a quick quesadilla every morning at the market place. It's very convenient as we stayed in the dolphin building right next to the main lobby. The smoothies are good, and we just ordered uber eats meals to the lobby for pickup instead of heading out to find food. The paper said we can get our room cleaned for a fee. A lady knocked on our door to ask if we needed a cleaning so I wasn't sure if we would be charged. When we first checked into our room, I had to have an electrician come in because our table lamps and outlets did not work. That was the only issue with our room. The guy came within the hour and fixed everything. Also our towel bar fell off the wall. It's been broken, they just left it like that for I don't know how long, that's why there was no towel on it when we first came in. We spent time in the pool in the day time and at night. One inconvenience is they do not have towels by the pools so you have to bring your own from the rooms. The pools are not very cold and the hot tub is not very hot, it's warm. On a Saturday afternoon there were loungers still available for use. We didn't feel like we had to fight for one. I saw there were beach chairs for rent, 2 days costs $110. We didn't spend much time on the beach but the beach is beautiful and there's a lot of seashells scattered. I like the resort but we will probably not be returning because the food options are not suitable for us in the palm beach area. There is not much Asian food. I do recommend this resort though. We had a lovely time doing nothing but relax in the pools and sleep.

We checked in for a week that we got through Redweek even though my parents own. We weren't treated well and got the 1 building we didn't want. The front desk didn't care. The activities department was top notch. The room was well appointed.

Dan and I have been members of Marriott's Vacation Club since 2010. Ocean Point is one of our favorite Resorts. We love almost everything about it except the difficulty finding shade. It's the same at most or maybe all resorts. Shade tends to be expensive. We enjoy Ocean Point. We have been bringing our daughters and their families to Marriott Resorts since our grandchildren were babies. We've made a lot of memories and we want our children and grandchildren to continue making memories here after we are gone. I am not sure if we can do that because we didn't create our trust before we bought points. Now it will be expensive to get the name changed on the deeds. There is a Facebook group just for Ocean Point guests. https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1ZMyxfgdHD/?mibextid=wwXIfr This site is helpful for those considering or planning a vacation here. It also gives you information about the Vacation Club Program.

I don't think water in the shower and tub should be coming out brown and even yellow. I stayed here years ago and the water was not discolored......now it is and they say it's normal. The hotel is pretty but I don't trust the water. The pool temp was nice and beach access was easy.

I cut my arm because the toilet paper is under a cabinet with a sharp corner. Ouch!

We used to stay here quite a bit so we thought we'd try it again since we have family over there. The room was hot the entire time, no matter what we put the AC on. The pillows were flat, the blankets were army blankets- very old. The mattress was old and not comfortable at all! The toilet paper was under a sharp wood cabinet so when reaching to get toilet paper I cut my arm badly and it's still messed up 3 days later. The person at the front desk was not what you'd expect at a hotel so near the ocean and a Marriott. She was borderline rude at check in. It's so disappointing because it's so close to everything, but when the room is that hot, sleeping is difficult! The door to get in the room was so difficult to open! My husband had to ram his whole body up against it to get it open. Marriott - DO BETTER!

We planned a long weekend visit & ended up choosing this hotel because of its location since we were also in town to catch a show. We arrived late as our flight was late but it was no problem check in was very quick & easy, we got room #8615. We had a nice room, comfy bed, good toiletries to use , it also had a fridge, sink & microwave which was very helpful for us since we were able to enjoy some left overs, sat in the balcony eating & enjoying the views. There was some construction in the outside area, aside from it being loud it didn't disrupt much. Very nice pool & beach area, everything is accessible w your room key. We enjoyed our time by relaxing by the pool & beach they have a bar restaurant that was easy for grabbing lunch & drinks. They also have a little convenient store for quick, bites , coffee etc. The hotel could probably use some upgrades to the property as it seems a bit outdated. Better access to a towel area, ice machines theres nothing where u can grab a drink at night even just a vending machine. This place was very family oriented as they also do have vacation homes on the property so this may not be the best choice if u are looking to be away from kids. We enjoyed our stay since our main focus was its location , availability for the beach & pool.

This place is amazing perfect for a get away with the family. Is by the beach and with so many activities for to keep the kids busy. The staff are really nice and always trying to accommodate all your needs. Totally recommend this place!!!

But once you step outside your room door, it's like you've entered a completely different (and much worse) property. Service here is borderline nonexistent, especially in the kids pool area. We stayed during a busy period and the kids pool zone was an absolute disaster. Zero staff presence, no lifeguard or attendants in sight, and it was so overcrowded that it felt unsafe. Parents were on edge, kids were bumping into each other constantly, and there was no organization whatsoever. It was pure chaos. The resort was beyond packed. Elevators regularly had long lines of people waiting just to go up or down. Bar was unserviceable. People on top of eachother food going to wrong tables. Disaster. I've stayed at busy hotels before, but this was next-level. The concierge was an absolute joke. When we asked for recommendations or help booking activities, the responses were generic, unhelpful, and felt scripted. Honestly, you're better off just using ChatGPT Other than the room itself, Hard pass.

NOPE! The man handling the beach chair and umbrellas was kind of a jerk. Argumentative and pushed for a tip before we even had service. The grounds, building and pool area are lovely. Everything seemed clean. There was a daily itinerary of activities, some free and some had a fee. THE POOL is large with a shallow end about 3 feet and a deep end about 6 feet. The biggest complaint about the pool area is that there is no shade until late afternoon then there are just a few loungers with shade. Most pools of this magnitude have sun sails, canopies or umbrellas to offer shade. There is a bar and grill offering drinks and snacks with service that will deliver to you poolside, depending on who's serving. One young man mainly serviced people in the pool at pools edge or the table areas. The young lady actually went around to the loungers and took orders and delivered food and beverages. OUR SUITE was cute with a very nice sized BATHROOM which had both a tub and shower, double sinks and shelves and 2 small drawers for storage. Basic toiletries were supplied the first day. We, unfortunately, forgot to pack our hair conditioner so we had to go to the front desk to ask for more. We were told we could only have 2 but that was sufficient. Housekeeping did leave another small tube our last night there along with fresh bar soaps. We had to run the water in the shower for a good 3-4 minutes before we had hot water. We had a small KITCHENETTE, small fridge, microwave, 2 burner cook top, and coffee maker. The REFRIDGERATOR barely worked. It produced about 8 ice-cubes a day so we day so we went to the ice machine down the hall and filled our ice tray. When we went to use the ice, it had clumped into one hard rock. The freezer wouldn't freeze and the fridge didn't keep food very cold. We should have reported it but we had long exhausting days with our grandson and didn't want the intrusion so we put our milk in the freezer. We had put some water bottles in the freezer and even after being in the freezer for 3 days, they were only cold, not frozen. One item that would improve the star quality of this resort would to have pod coffee makers instead of drip pots. We love our fresh-cup coffee but the drip pot sits on a warmer and then the coffee tastes burnt after awhile. The bottoms of the flatware tray from the dishwasher were broken out so when you put flatware in it, the flatware fell through! There was a queen sized pull out couch but we just put the linens on top of the couch for our grandson without pulling it out. The king bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. The pillows, however, felt like we were sleeping on bags of marbles. There was ONE pillow that was fairly comfortable. On one side of the bed, there was a beautiful night stand with drawers. On the other side, however, there was a flimsy 3 legged table covered with a table cloth. It was very wobbly and I really didn't trust it with my c-pap, laptop and air filter machine. The windows in the room were screwed shut so we couldn't turn off the air and just enjoy the sound of the surf and ocean breezes. The balcony was on the North side of the building and we did have a view of the ocean/beach looking North-East. The glass sliding doors in the living room moved smoothly, but did not have screens so they had to remain shut. There was a small dresser in the bedroom and also one in the living room. There were TV's in both rooms also. The only other issues we had was on our last evening there, we wanted to order food in for dinner and the power in the resort kept going out. This went on for well over an hour so there was no WIFI. Also, there is a public park on the North side of the resort that is an encampment for homeless people. It's generally not an issue but they were yelling, arguing and swearing practically right under our balcony. Then there were a couple of them nearly fornicating. This isn't what we wanted to expose our 10 year old grandson to so we had to make him go back inside. So much for paying extra for a ocean view balcony! We weren't impressed with the restaurant or our server but there's an AUTOMATIC 18% GRATUITY. It took over an our to receive our food and drinks were NEVER refilled. We think our server forgot to put our order in until he heard us say we were going to leave. Many open tables so they weren't that busy. Nearly $100 for three people, chicken parm, no salad. Chicken tenders w fries and Mahi with rice- no salad or extras.

Two days after, a mandatory evacuation order was given in preparation for hurricane Dorian. We called the management company, Singer Island Vacation Rentals, and was informed by Colleen, that we would not be required to come back to the property and that we would be refunded our monies minus the prorated time we were there. It has been over a month now and all we get is promises that they will call us back and they never do. Every time we call and get to speak with Colleen, we are told a refund is coming - the last time when asked what the amount would be, we were told $289 - we put down a security deposit of $500!!!! I was called by the "new manager" Tim (Wilson?) with iTrip Vacations (itrip.net) who stated he was sorry for the issues and we should receive a refund. Tim promised to call the following day with an update - guess what? no call!!!! We feel we have been taken advantage of during a mandatory evacuation for a named hurricane. The place itself was dirty and not worth the stay. A bed, non functioning internet (part of lease agreement), tiny kitchen and nasty bathroom is all you get. Garbage piled up outside stinking in the heat and attracting flies so bad you have to go around other side of building. While the location is decent, it appears to be an old motel converted to studios. Might be okay for short visit but you will get claustrophobic after a few days. We have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and are awaiting resolution. This review is a warning to be discerning when considering this property.

The house has a nice, big open space leaving room for everyone. The pool was a definite plus for us. It was wonderful to have such a large, private pool in the back yard. It was screened in but there's several holes in the screens just so you understand its not completely insect free but FAR better then a pool without the screen. The washer and dryer is convenient and a great quality. While the garage is technically a 2 car garage, I personally found the doors to be far too small for my suv crossover. It wasn't a big deal though because there is a nice, large drive way. The master bedroom was large and spacious with Ample storage room. The second bedroom will probably be fine for short rentals but as of right now, it is missing any type of drawers or night stands. We had to be creative for our longer rental. I would definitely recommend this rental house to anyone and I would look to staying there again in the future. It wasvsuch a great location for my needs, space, the pool and attentive owners made this my home away from home! How could I have forgotten to write this review for so long? Well, the answer is simple: when you…read morewalk into The Breakers, you are in paradise. You quickly learn to get your cyberspace BS under control, unplug, and pay atention to every little detail, and most importantly, the people around you. When you are here, it is so important to just breathe and ground yourself! We have come here over 10 times over the past 9 years, and we always have a top-tier experience. Here is why this resort remains unmatched for us: The valet is incredibly efficient despite the large crowds. The front desk is always kind and accomodating. Truly, every single employee is impeccably trained. Walking through the property feels like being in the Titanic movie, absolutely grand and timeless. The restaurants and bars are excellent across the board. Our absolute favorite part of vacationing here is heading down to the beach, grabbing a couple of beach chairs and umbrellas, and spending the whole day there. We love getting food from the nearby pool restaurant and staying put for hours. One main difference between The Breakers and any other hotel is that they never force you out of your spot just because it is 6 PM. If the staff has to leave, they let you stay on the beach for as long as you want. While the beach itself is not the absolute best in Florida, the natural rock formation gives it a beautiful, unique touch that is incredibly refreshing for the view. They also offer water sports for the young and enthusiastic! The Flagler restaurant is fabulous, but I will leave that for a separate review later since it is currently undergoing a major renovation a may be a whole different universe once it reopens! If you want a true luxury escape where you can actually disconnect and be treated like royalty, this is it. We will keep coming back for years to come!

I've seen some of the reviews but I can't be that hard…read more I was in Florida for business of course and Mrs. E was with me. One property on the west coast and one on the east coast. We stayed here as a VRBO.one draw to the resort is a balcony. We love having coffee on the balcony in the morning and wine in the evening. The resort has Valet parking which I typically love but a little sloppy here. Back to the balcony. We were on a night floor which was advertised as the penthouse. Except there were two floors above us. Worst part was that the HVAC machines were on our side of the building which created constant noise. Big letdown. So in my business I can't help but look at things that are being neglected. Typically that's not a good sign. The pathway to the beach was not what the advertisement showed and much of the brick work was damaged and appeared neglected. They do have a restaurant on the property. We had breakfast there one morning. Not my fav. They have a store with beach wear but ridiculously expensive. Would we stay there again? I think I'll pass. You decide for yourself.
