I was surprised to find such a outdated and average "resort" at this great location and marina. The lobby and common area was recently updated but the pool and fitness center was on the 3rd floor or another building separate from our room. So it was multiple elevators and then the roof top pool was a small rectangular infinity edge and a larger rectangular hot tub. The outside bar also offered food so many patrons were eating in the pool and the number of unregistered hotel teens who had parents working here felt privileged enough to hang around. We had the opportunity to enjoy a staycation at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place on the Intercoastal, and I was impressed with the location and the amenities. If you're seeking a nice getaway away from West Palm Beach or South Florida in general but still a few minutes drive to the ocean with outdoor activities, the hotel is in a prime spot. Harbourside Place is located off Indiantown Road on the corner of U.S. 1. The Wyndham Grand valet entrance is to the right as you turn into the plaza. The valet staff was very friendly and accommodating; I don't think I waited more than a few minutes to receive my car when we left the property. Harbourside also comprises at least a few restaurants, retail shops, and a coffee house (Subculture), that's nice to walk around during the day and at night without needing to drive down to Palm Beach Gardens or further south to downtown West Palm or Delray Beach. The lobby area was bright and stylish and decorated for the holidays, with the main lounge and bar featuring a snowy ski lodge theme -- lots of Christmas trees and Christmas lighting, a bench that was supposed to resemble a chairlift next to some fake ski trail signage. The service at the bar was good, with nicely themed cocktails and small eats on the menu. We mainly stuck with the cocktails at night. During the morning, it served as a coffee bar that served Starbucks (what else?). However, the service during the morning, especially in the kitchen, could have been better and faster. We ordered breakfast on our first full day, only ordering a muffing, a breakfast sandwich, and a side of bacon; it took 20 minutes to receive our food, and other parties that had ordered after us had already received theirs. Also, the pricing wasn't worth what we ordered -- I found my sandwich underwhelming (it was supposed to be "New Jersey-styled" (whatever that means)). So if you want breakfast in the morning, you're best going off-site. The hotel comprises two buildings linked by a skywalk. The north tower houses the lobby, the business center on the second floor, and the pool and fitness center on the third floor. In contrast, the south tower houses the conference rooms and banquet halls, where there were multiple birthdays, baby showers, and wedding celebrations the weekend we went for our staycation. If you have to choose where to stay, I suggest the north tower, as it was a bit of a slog going to the room that was located on the fourth floor of the south tower and back to the lobby on the former. It takes a few minutes, at least, depending on whether people are stopping on other floors. That part was inconvenient. We had a lovely two-room suite comprising an entry hallway area with a vanity table and mirrors and a welcome basket with muffins, chocolate strawberries, cheese, and various crunchy snacks. The suite had a full bathroom attached to the main bedroom (two queen beds) and a half bathroom in the entry hallway if you have guests over to hang out in the lounge room. The latter had a cozy sofa, coffee table, desk, LCD TV, and dining room table. The master bathroom also had an LCD TV and plugs on the center night table. There was ample closet space with a fridge, a coffee maker, a safe, plenty of hangers, and some drawers. The master bathroom had a wide sink counter area, with a standing shower accessed through a glass door. It was long enough to hang a towel at one end on a rack without worrying about getting wet. The pool area was one of my favorite areas. It had a wicked modern pool for wading and swimming (the depth only went to five feet) and a long hot tub. There were plenty of chairs for sunbathing and relaxing, as well as a canopied bar where you could have food and cocktails. The service was also better at the bar than at the breakfast bar downstairs. When we went to the pool, there were a lot of kids that were both in the pool and the hot tub (not sure what the hot tub age policy is, but it was shallow enough the hot tub where the kids looked like they could walk around without needing to be afloat). Depending on the time of season, if there are a lot of families staying on-site, the kids will be at the pool, so just be prepared if you're not used to that -- I was fine with it, some adults aren't. Overall, I would stay again at the hotel. I know where we need stay tower-wise for next time, and how to approach coffee, cocktails, and meals. Overall, the cocktail crowd at the downstairs bar at night is great and service is good so no problem there. But the morning crowd, I would go elsewhere. And the north tower is the better one if you're staying a couple of nights and want access to the pool and fitness center without needing to walk and take elevators for up to 10 minutes. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with my weekend trip to Jupiter staying at Wyndham grand. The hotel is situated in a plaza with plenty of dining restaurants and shops. It is nestled in a plaza along the water with beautiful views of the intracoastal, just a short ride to the beach or Love street. The staff were friendly and accommodating to a late check out. The hotel lobby is beautiful and there are two bars, one in the lobby, and one on the pool deck. The pool deck has a large pool and hot tub with sunscreen available and towels with a restroom close by. I stayed in a suite with a wrap around balcony with beautiful views. The room came equipped with a mini fridge, water bottles that were replaced daily, and a safe and iron as well as pumps of body wash/shampoo/conditioner. There was also vending machines and ice on the floor. The room was comfortable with two TVs-- although one gripe I had was the Tvs were not working correctly. There is on street parking although I'm not familiar with the limitations, and there is self parking for $16 a day in the garage across the street or valet for $32 a day. I did not mind this as I am used to paying for parking, however, I feel it could be a downside for some people. The hairdryer that was provided was smoking and nearly caught on fire and I had to ask housekeeping for another one. Other than minor inconveniences, I would highly recommend a stay at Wyndham grand! read more

My son split a water bottle all over the bed and housekeeping came up within 5 minutes to change out the sheets. I know housekeeping standards have changed a lot post COVID but I just loved that! All, the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. Amenities were spotless, pool area was clean and cozy. I only got to stay here one night with my husband, but it was perfect and I didn't want to leave! We had the Intracoastal Suite. I highly recommend this room! It has a separate living area, a spacious bathroom, plenty of closet space and a huge balcony patio that faces the Intracoastal. The room was spotless and set up perfectly. The parking situation was easy and stress free. There is valet right up front. If you'd prefer to self park, there is a garage for a fee, with in and out privileges. The hotel is located at Harbourside Place. There are plenty of shops and restaurants that you can walk to right outside the hotel. I look forward to staying here again soon! read more

You can't do better than the Wyndham Grand Jupiter Harbourside! We've been coming to this property in Jupiter, Florida for years and it's amazing! This time is no different. Even with Covid, they do everything in their power to accommodate every need. Yesterday, we checked in and had the balcony which boasted plush papasan chairs last stay (no longer there). One phone call later, maintenance was at the door with two chaise lounges. The staff here is the most friendly and service oriented team I've seen in years. It's clear that it's part of the culture here! We used to live 20 minutes south of he're and could stay at one on the Palm Beach Gardens hotels, but NONE compare! The rooms are spacious, though we do opt for the suites (and the ONLY disadvantage I'll mention is the lighting - none in or close enough to illuminate the closets). From our pre-stay conversations, to the personable interactions, to the service and cleanliness of the property - this is one you don't to miss this one! The property is in a good location with at least 7-8 restaurants and bars that are within walking distance. The pool is on the 3rd floor with a decent view of the inter-coastal and a good bar and adequate seating. The lobby bar is also a good spot and if you catch happy hour the prices aren't to bad. We enjoyed a Gouda and Fontina Cheese Flat Bread and Beef Sliders which were also priced for Happy Hour. We were waited on by Elorie, who is fantastic and super personable The cons would be the signage in the property is pretty weak so at first it's hard to find you way around. Also they charge $16.00 a day for parking as well as $16.00 for a resort fee. Seriously, it's a nice property but it's not a resort. So in the end I don't think it was worth the cost. read more

Just stopped in to visit family. The lobby is gigantic with beautiful chandeliers and marble. The hotel itself is huge and required two elevators to get to their room. The room and view was beautiful. We spent some time in the lobby bar after walking around the shops and restaurants all around the location. My biggest three concerns with any hotel, outside of the location itself, is that the HVAC works well, there are blackout blinds/curtains that actually block out all of the exterior light, and the beds are clean and comfortable. Wyndham Grand does all 3, while also being in a convenient location with bars, restaurants, and shopping within a short walking distance. Would come back again. read more

This hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Close to the beach and in walking distance to restaurants and shops. The pool with chairs are great overlooking the inter coastal. We paid extra $20 to upgrade for a balcony. Make sure when booking you look for intercostal view since those are the ones with balconies only. The pool bar is still not open and they only serve to go breakfast items and Starbucks coffee in the morning. The Mexican restaurant is great outside near the hotel and they also have a Tommy Bahamas restaurant that we didn't try. Definitely would stay again when in the area. read more

I came up to Jupiter for a little staycation with my Mom, and we had an amazing stay at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter. We came because of a Travelzoo special, and decided it would be a cool way to explore the cities just north of us. We checked in late on a Thursday night with Charlie. He was incredibly friendly and he even upgraded us to a suite. The Travelzoo special included 2 welcome drinks at the poolside bar or lobby bar, and complimentary self-parking. I took the car just across the street to park in the garage, and grabbed our Hibiscus Sparklers at the bar. Although I am not the biggest fan of vodka, they were very refreshing and our bartender was so friendly (I don't remember her name, but she was pregnant). When we got to the room I was in shock. This suite was SWEET. First of all it was huge-- 2 big rooms and 1 and a half bathrooms. We entered into a foyer with the half bath on the left and then a giant living room with a table, sofa bed, and tv. The bedroom had 2 queens and a full bath. The decor was chic and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel's facilities are also very nice. It consists of 2 buildings connected by a passage on the 2nd floor (which can get a little confusing if your room is in the second building). There are 2 bars, a pool and jacuzzi on the 3rd floor, and nice business center. The hotel is located inside a small shopping complex, so you can go for a walk along the marina, and visit some of the restaurants and shops right next door, such as Subculture Coffee, Burger-Fi, etc. I think what made this hotel so special was the stellar service I received from Charlie and the other staff. Literally every employee we passed said hello (maybe I am too used to Miami, where absolutely no one says hello ever LOL, but this made me feel so at home). All in all, this Travelzoo special was an amazing deal, but next time I am in the area for a staycation I would go back to the Wyndham Grand Jupiter even without the special. read more

You would think for such a nice hotel and area, their services would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, is not. My wife, friends and I decided to stay at this hotel last week since we were visiting the area for the anniversary of a local brewery. Like I mentioned before, the facilities were really nice, but the room had this musky terrible smell. We complained a couple times, but they said they were completely booked and they only had a room with one king bead(obviously that wasn't going to workout for the four of us). We were there and ready to party, we stayed two days and by Sunday morning I was more than ready to go home. Parking situation is a bit complicated you either pay $24 a day for valet or $12 park yourself. I loved, like loved the location. Am I going back? Probably not, for the price tag there are so many other options around the are and probably without stinky rooms. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Hotel is beautiful, new and clean with a great rooftop pool. I got a coffee from the lobby this morning and the girl working was so friendly too. They also accommodated a late check out. The lobby bar has a pretty good happy hour as well. All around really nice people and great experience. We will be back! read more

My stay at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter was certainly grand. From arrival to departure it was a great experience. I loved where the hotel was located as it sits among shops and lots of dining choices. Paid parking garage across the street or valet is also an option. Check in was simple and welcoming. The decor is impeccably chic and modern. Very pretty and great opportunities for picture taking. Tommy Bahama store is attached to the lobby so you can walk right in. Nice feature. The lobby bar is really nice and large enough to have a gathering. The room was just amazing. I had a queen suite (which I had no idea that it was upgraded until I checked out). The suite has a nice sitting area along with a closet that had a mini refrigerator, ice bucket and complimentary water. The bathroom was also really nice. Clean room, clean bed and a view of the shopping area. What more could you ask for. Oh actually....maybe late night dining service! That would be my only complaint. If you get late night munchies your stuck...or you can drive 1mile to IHOP for your fix. This hotel is great for a stay-cation or just visiting the area. I hope to be back in the near future. Beautiful hotel. Yet quiet, quiet, quiet on a Monday at the tail of spring break season. Regrettably my delayed flight + business realities prevented me from exploring the village/ shops surrounding. I also didn't get to check out the pool, which is beautiful -- albeit would have been dead I am sure. Room was modern. But c'mon - more pressure needed on shower head! Staff was pleasant. Lastly - I saw a $7 SINGLE SERVICE fig Newton in the lobby snack shop. Paid $3 for a single standard size bottle of water ($1.50 in the machines - but all sold out). $14 self park at garage across the street enables at least 2 in the same room to enter via hotel access card. That is fair. I get the sense that this is a big weddings hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future. read more

My husband and I loved this hotel. We stayed in a king deluxe with a harbour view. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was also big and very clean. The bed was extremely comfy. Convenient outlets on the alarm clock. The balcony was huge! The entrance to the hotel is very beautiful. The front desk was helpful. There was a small mistake on our receipt and they fixed it immediately, without hassle. Parking was $26 a day for valet or $16 for self-parking so might as well valet. We will definitely stay here again. This hotel exceeded my expectations. Also, this is a great area to stay in if you want to walk around. We absolutely love this hotel! We only live an hour away so it is a quick get-away for us with plenty of things to do within walking distance. The staff is excellent! We had only been there 1 time before and Katy at the check in recognized us from then! She was such a pleasure to interact with and so very helpful to all of our needs. Torri the bartender at the downstairs bar, was an absolute joy to be around and was very attentive. Then last but not least I can't forget to mention the bartender at the pool bar, William , who was also very entertaining and excellent at his job. This last time we stayed in a suite with the intracoastal room and that may well have spoiled us for next time we go. It had a balcony and had a great view. We did not have anything to eat from the hotel itself but it is available. There is a Tommy Bahama restaurant connected to the hotel on one side, then if you walk out the back door there is a great Mexican restaurant there. We tried both and they were great. Also there is a Tiger Woods sports bar across the street which we enjoyed as well. All in All this is a great hotel with super professional and friendly staff and withing walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. read more

You would think that people that are paying for an upgraded room would be able to have the room available earlier than non-upgraded rooms?? Not here! It's almost 4:00 and I booked an intracoastal view upgraded room and I have been waiting at least an hour. By the time I get my room the balcony and the view won't even be worth the money. Never again. UPDATE: So I told the guy at the front desk how unhappy I was as stated above and he apologized and agreed to comp our breakfasts tomorrow morning to make up for this (we weren't able to get our room until about 4:20). So I want to update that they made things right. read more

This is Comfort Inn (barely) that thinks it's a Four Seasons. The Bad: SMALL rooms. I mean go into the hall to change your mind. No dressers. You either hang your clothes or cram them into the bedside table. Terrible showers. You have to get into the shower to turn it on, so you get a prewash before actually entering the shower to bathe. Very noisy. Despite the fact that we asked for, and paid for, an upgraded room, Tomas put us in room 3000. This was literally the farthest room from the elevator and was right next to the pool entry door. And even when the pool was closed you could hear everything going on above, below, and beside. Cheaply appointed. Our carpet was coming up, and was frayed, at the entry to the bathroom. The linens, sheet and towels, were very itchy and rough. The Good: Despite sending us to Siberia, Tomas, and everyone else we encountered, was very friendly. Now, all this is fine if you're paying $135-$175 per night. This place: over $400. That's just not acceptable for this level of quality. Do yourself a favor and go a few miles south and stay at the Jupiter Beach Resort. It's comparably priced and MUCH nicer. read more
