We stayed there twice in August, on our way to and from Canada. The first time we managed to leave behind our special pillows (mine is orthopedic, for neck and back problems). They assured us when I called that they would hold them for us, and when we stayed again on our way home, the pillows were in our room when we arrived. Also, we carry some food up with us to our cabin, so we use ice packs. The rooms have refrigerators but no freezer compartment. However, they took the freezer packs and put them in their freezer so we were good to go the next day. A special shout-out to Dean Harmon, the extremely helpful person in charge both evenings. We will definitely choose them for future trips.

An ice maker prob 4 room length away from me went off all the time and I heard the ice being made my whole night. Didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked.

Today, we stayed at the Holiday Inn in St. Marys for the last time. There are three mandatory services a hotel must provide: a comfortable bed, Wi-Fi, and a hot shower. For two out of our three-day stay, the Holiday Inn Express failed the third criteria miserably. Saturday and Sunday morning, the shower and sink water temperature was barely above room temperature. There were other minor creature comfort failures not worth mentioning, but lack of an available hot shower is a deal-breaker. We've been coming to the "Comfort Inn" for almost two decades, but we will never be back.
