Their pet fee is not crazy like some places are they accept pets? They have an area at the end of the hotel. That's a little grassy. It's actually a nice pretty good sized area to walk your pets unfortunately not all pet owners cleanup after their pets. the people are extremely nice and friendly, which is so nice especially when you're tired from driving all day. What an amazing hotel! We stayed on 12/21/25 due to a very early flight out of Springfield Airport the next day. They allowed us an early check-in, upgraded us to a business suite, and provided a shuttle to and from the airport by Mr. Charlie! The hotel, grounds and our suite were exceptionally clean! The housekeepers go all out to make sure no detail is missed. We highly recommend this hotel. We also could leave our vehicle there while we were gone. read more

We have stayed at Best Westerns previously and had good experiences, and I also had reward pints to use up...so this is why we booked this hotel. Giving it a 3-star for just average. Hotel appeared clean and had modern decor. Our room was ok, but the bathroom was too small. The door hit the toilet when opening it. There were a few cosmetic things that I would expect to be repaired in the bathroom as well. One thing that I didn't care for is that the smoke detector was mounted on the wall, next to the desk, within reach of my toddler. Not a great spot. Hubby complained about the bed being extremely uncomfortable. The carpets were very dirty. My kids feet were black after walking around barefoot. I made them wear their sandals the rest of the time. I did tell the front desk, and they had housekeeping vacuum. However, it was still dirty. Breakfast was good, but we have had better to be honest. The pool was indoors, small, but heated. Overall it worked for our short trip, but if in town again would probably choose a different hotel. read more

Hotel smelled super clean and seemed to be on the newer side!! Breakfast was great...biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs. All staff was super nice. Only issue we had was that my hubby felt something crawling on him. It was a huge spider coming down a web from the ceiling. Wife and daughter's first full day, they put do not disturb on door. They were gone all day and when they got back the door was cracked open and the do not disturb card was gone. I don't understand why someone went in their room and definitely don't understand why they didn't properly close the door. Another weird issue was their keys didn't work properly after that. Pros: Employees were all very helpful and polite. Room and bathroom were clean. Juice and waffles were alright Cons: This hotel isn't nice enough to be qualified as a " Plus" - More like a Super 8 or Days Inn There was a strong smell of some kind of cleaning agent upon entrance. Beds were not super comfy, and pillows were bumpy. We needed extra blankets because it felt like a lightweight throw. Small bathroom Room felt scarce. Pool was cold, and sharply slopes to the center all the way around. There isn't a shallow area for smaller kids to be able to stand and play, they can hold on to the sides and walk around the pool or stay on the steps. Also large piles of stuff just sitting in the pool room, some with Caution tape wrapped around it. Clean rooms, parking lot seems safe, and they have charging stations for electric cars. Didn't really hear much through the walls but the people across the hall were talking in the hallway and you could hear them loud and clear through closed doors. Also the bathroom is incredibly small. The door opens inwards and barely has clearance from hitting the toilet. They should make the door open outwards for easier access for people, if you are bigger or not easily able to get around you'll have a hard time closing the door and getting access to the shower. read more

Seems pretty new. Check out is 12 not 11 like other hotels. The rooms were clean and big. They have a fridge and microwave. They also have a big flat screen tv in the rooms. I don't even see that in Vegas. The bathroom is much roomier too. Decent amount of wall outlets. Free wi-fi too. They also serve breakfast, but my guy said it was only ok. Only thing I didn't like is that the AC/Heat unit was too loud. Plus - I was able to watch the Bears game. =) read more

We arrived around 1 a.m. We checked in 2 adults and 3 children. What they gave us was one king bed. There was no way all 5 of us could comfortably sleep. We ended up making my son sleep on the padded chair meant for one in the room through the night. He had to sleep sitting up and woke up uncomfortable.The room was musty and humid. We kept the air at 65 because the air wouldn't get cold. At breakfast a worker could be seen putting biscuits bare handed after cleaning tables and the breakfast area minutes before. I have to say that the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Chadron, Nebraska was also one of the best. This hotel in Springfield, MO was clean, the staff was friendly and went above the extra mile to make us feel welcome. UPDATE: On July 11, 2023, this hotel's manager, Tonya Goddard, responded to my review (a duplicate of the one posted here) on another website, stating, "Our staff and myself did check those locks'" and "...I myself took you to the room with me to see that the lock was in working order." What Ms. Goddard fails to acknowledge is that she and I went to the room THE NEXT DAY. On the night we were to stay at this hotel, when I reported to the Front Desk that the communicating door would not lock, they could have walked the short distance to the room and might have been able to lock the door, resolving the issue. Instead, SHOWING NO CONCERN FOR THE SAFETY OF THEIR GUESTS, HOTEL STAFF OFERED NO ASSISTANCE WHATSOEVER. Therefore, out of a concern for our safety, I advised that this was unacceptable and that I would have to seek alternative lodging. THEIR ONLY RESPONSE WAS THAT THEY WERE FULL. THIS IS WHY WE LEFT AND REQUESTED A REFUND. read more

We stayed for 3 nights in June 2021. The staff were very nice and checked us in a few minutes early. Traveling with toddlers is quite the adventure so I'm glad we were able to get into the room ASAP. The room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke and vanilla which is a strange combo. It appeared very clean and tidy. There was hair on the shower floor, but nothing too extreme. We went swimming a couple times throughout our stay and the pool was pretty cold! I was hoping it would be much warmer. The breakfast options were fine. Nothing was too impressive there but it was fully stocked each morning. The biggest concerning issue of the trip is the carpets. The 4 of us took turns showering after the pool on the first night. Afterwards we were laying around and noticed that all of our feet were black on the bottom! Like very dirty! At first I was confused as to why but then when I stepped on a white towel that was laying on the floor and the towel turned black, I realized the carpets are very dirty. They are in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Freshly cleaned feet should not turn black as you step on it. We wore flip flops the entire rest of the trip while in our room. Also, our beds were never made during the trip. I'm sure that's some covid protocol but it didn't feel like how staying in a hotel used to. Coming back to a freshly cleaned room with made beds after a long day out. Oh well! We would probably stay again. read more

Decent rooms. Although the price is high for the quality of the hotel . Ladies at the desk were polite and friendly & helpful. Although other guest were loud and screaming in the halls to the point I couldn't even hear the TV or FaceTime my child on the phone. I stayed here 2 1/2 weeks in the fall of 2020. I'm afraid I can't recommend this hotel. Customers are consistently being ripped off. My 3rd night there one of the employees tried to con me out of nearly $100. After looking through review after review of this hotel, on 3 different websites it's clear what happened to me was not an isolated incident. A few examples: August 2020 a customer was charged "pet fees" only he didn't have a pet. July 2020 a customer was double-charged, May, 2020 the same customer was overcharged twice. In November 2019 a customer was charged for 2 nights but only stayed one. & still can't get a refund. In August 2020 a customer states the staff lied, to keep from refunding her deposit. November 2019 a customer was charged $125 "to air out room." Customer disputes claim that room needed to be "aired out." Listening to them explain how they arrived at whatever amount they're charging you feels like you're playing 3 card Monte with a professional card sharp. The manager's attitude toward customers is horrendous!! She talked to guests, including me, like a parent talking to a child. I'm probably old enough to be her mother. During the 18 days I was there, not once did I hear, "Thank you for your business." I also wasn't ever told I could earn Best Western points and only found out about it because I happened to see a flyer that explained the system. The day before I left somebody-I don't know who-called the Springfield Police Department and falsely reported that my car was an abandoned vehicle. As a result SPD defaced my car by plastering a bright orange, adhesive sticker on it, threatening to tow it. I was livid! I'm STILL working on trying to remove all of the sticky adhesive. That's already bad enough but this is a hotel that supposedly allows customers who stay there and fly out of the Springfield Airport to leave their vehicles parked at the hotel while they're out of town. I don't need that. Neither does anybody else. Springfield, Missouri has an overabundance of hotels and motels including other Best Westerns. Those things said, there are some very good employees who deserve recognition. The woman who checked me in on the evening of September 28, 2020 was especially kind and helpful. The housekeeping and maintenance employees do an amazing job. The building is squeaky clean-there's not a speck of dirt to be found and the building and grounds are very well maintained. I am a member of best western hotel, I trust the brand, but this time I was dispointed. got some kind of bedbug bite on my hand and 5 on my legs, have to change to a different room 3am in morning, we are tired! The night audit was nice , but the front desk lady around 11:00am told us she inspected the room didn't see any bedbug, she sounded like we lied about the bug bite, we are traveled from Dallas to Chicago, seven hours of driving we are exhausted! Eight more hours the next day, we have to get some sleep other wise we would probably left the hotel right away. we were told the mattress and carpet was only 6month old,and gave us a excuse of owner or manager are not available, we were also told the owner will write me a letter after some kind of inspection, after all that excuse she didn't apologized and nothing was done before we left the hotel . read more

We haven't even been here an hour and I felt compelled to YELP this little gem of a place that made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. Before that, in the middle of the severe thunderstorm when we were driving, I called ahead to see If we could get an early check in. "Yes, we'll see you in a few minutes; drive safe", was the response. Our room was ready when we walked in and it was not only on the first floor, but near the exit and what did we see outside that exit? A dog park, right on the premises! OMG, color us happy! The room was lovely and since we needed to do some laundry during our travels, the "quiet little laundry room" was right across the hall. I could not have planned this better. Wow! And dog treats for our K9 family member in the lobby, along with fresh, hot coffee, fresh fruit and fruited water. We will sleep well tonight, have clean clothes for the rest of our trip, and a happy and well-exercised pup! Road travel all the way from the Wesr Coast just doesn't get any better! read more

Big mistake staying here. I needed a room for a couple of hours. I had an important meeting to get to and needed a shuttle to the Airport. They don't have one. They give a voucher to a taxi cab. Problem is a cab doesn't have to come pick you up. If they have a higher paying fare, they'll ignore you. That is what they did. I requested a pickup at 5:45 am. 6:00 am came and went. No Cab. They called. They said the cab is on its way. I saw a cab on way to the Airport. It flew by. This while, that morning coming to the hotel I let a cab take a second fare. This is an Airport hotel. It exists to be convenient to and from the Airport. It is not. Another couple who also wanted a ride to the Airport and got rudely surprised about the parking fee then offered me a ride. I took it. The cab never came. I left at 6:20 a.m. which was 35 minutes later then I wanted. It literally made me late. I hate being late. I know what you are thinking. It was the Cab's fault and not the hotel. The hotel just needs to get a van and take people on demand to the Airport. That is how they market themselves. The undoubtedly cheap owner determined to save money, uses this method. I hate businesses who sacrifice customer service to save a buck. Do not stay there. It was a total disaster for me when I told them I need the cab right at 5:45 a.m. Room was $80. It was not worth that much by a long shot. There was another motel next door. Much cheaper. They don't promise rides to the Airport. This place defrauded me and they will be hearing from me. I wanted to warn all the Springfield MO Yelp'ers out there. No Stars!!! 12/26/14 UPDATE--I do not know if this was in response to this review, but on her own the GM contacted me the next day. She was very nice. She absolutely fell on her sword and admitted everything that I have alleged was true. She has informed me that they have had problems with the taxi service before and since. They are at their wits ends. The economics of a shuttle just does not work for them but they are exploring it. On her own initiative she offered 16,000 points with BW, which will provide a room for a night at some hotels. Due to this graciousness and their very pro-active customer service, I am going to upgrade them to 3 stars. I will keep up the original review because it is important for people to see. This is a continuing issue and for those, like me, who have to be at the airport at a very set time, you will need to deal with this. The great experience started with the front desk. I don't remember her name, but she was new at the time. She was so incredibly sweet and welcoming! I have stayed here on one previous occasion and will be staying again within 3 weeks. It is conveniently located and well maintained. They offer on site parking if you are flying out of SGF at a good price per night. I also got a discount for having a AAA card. They are next to Alli's Family Restaurant which is the go-to place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner if staying here. It is not even a block away. They used a cab company to get me to and from the airport. No issues during pick up or drop off. I will try and post pictures when I stay there in the coming weeks. read more

This may be a 3 star hotel, but to me it will always be 5 stars! We werent here for the airport so we had no need of the shuttle. We booked through priceline, but when we walked (and rolled) in, the clerk treated us like we were the only people there! She saw my mother in her wheelchair and immediately said "i want to put you in a room with a roll in shower." She might possibly be my favorite desk clerk ever! Her whole attitude was about looking after us. Priceline didnt give us the option for a handicap room but right after we booked, mom called and requested one. Whoever answered forgot to put a note on the room so when we got here, we could only check in to 2 of the 3 rooms. That was ok because at the moment there were only 3 of us. The rest would be in at midnight. So we camped out until the room was switched. I was i.pressed! Th e manager called the company who made the program and got them to work some switcheroo magic to get mom the room she needed and told us if we need anything to let her know. I did a bed bug inspection and this place is clean. No stow aways. I ch ecked because bed bugs had been on the local news. The facility is clean and orderly. The room is nice but not fancy. I suspect i will sleep well. The ice machine is by the front desk, not near any eooms. I am sure that will appeal to some of you. Its also quiet. At tge end of the day, i absolutely would recommend this place. Care for customers doesnt stop at the front desk. The i really want to help you vibe just pours out of the manager and that makes me feel like i am important to them which means i wont have any problems. The front desk was able to recommend a reasonably priced close local restraunt, alli's family restraunt. Check out that review. If you are in the spring area, this place will take such good care of you that you will be hard pressed to find something to complain about. I certainly cant think of anything.
