Nice hotel. Lobby is well laid out. There's a bistro/bar on the right, reception on the left. Staff were excellent everywhere. Room is good. Clean. Has everything. Everything functions. Very well set up desk. Plugs for everything you would need. Beside same story. You will be able to plug in devices. WiFi coverage is good. Room has a dorm refrigerator and microwave. Having both is helpful. Breakfast does not come with the room. Bistro has a few purchasable meal items available. This does really help when you arrive late, Overall a solid hotel for the intended purposes. read more

We've stayed here twice in the last two years (around Labor Day each time) and each visit has been fantastic. We visit Branson, but we choose to use this hotel in Springfield and commute back and forth. The rates are better in Springfield and the commute isn't bad at all. We get the king with the jet tub in the room. Talk about a pro tip after spending all day on your feet! The staff here are all polite (at least to us) and have been easy to work with! Springfield has a lot to offer. The highway system can be entered nearby and is easy to use to get you around the multitude of restaurants, attractions, and shopping right there in town. If you are like us and are commuting back and forth to Branson make sure you hit Ozark where you will multiple restaurants (Lamberts, Billy Gail's, the B-29 Cafe) and all the antique shops/flea markets you can stand. read more

Made the reservation directly with the property the day of my arrival into SGF. The rate was pretty high and being Bonvoy member didn't change or lowered the rate at all, so $188. + it was. Online booking would have been the exact $ amount with a same 3rd-party site. They charge $7 a day for parking. I was asked by the rep on the hotel line that took my reservation, if I wouldn't mind allowing her to transfer me to a survey after my call ended with her. I said 'yes" but quickly learned that was a bad idea! It was not a survey, it was a sales pitch, offering up a "pay thema $199 now, and get a 3 night/4 day get away vacation to my choice (between 15 different locations) that could be used within a year, no blackouts if you committed time during your free weekend pack for your family to see a timeshare presentation for 90 minutes. I apologized and said no, I couldn't do it for now, and he immediately hung up the phone without one word. Super clean and boy..... the bed was suuuppper comfortable. They had DoorDash / Uber eats at this hotel, so even though the bistro area had closed by the time I checked in at about 2200hrs, I was still able to get something delivered. There is nothing close-by, at all, to grab stuff to eat along the drive from airport to hotel. Too Far to drive in the dark, so DoorDash was it was. Checkout was quick and almost painless. Room deposit refund took too long to process, and was released from credit card almost 4 days later. Ask for a printed bill upon exiting. My printed receipt showed the lower price than I was charged on my credit card by more than $22. That took a week to be properly correctly. I do, however, recommend getting an in-hand hard copy receipt,if you can. read more

We stayed June 2 & 3, 2024 because of thunderstorms at DFW airport, our flight was delayed for two days. Upon checking in, we were told that housekeeping would only bring something to the room/refresh the room if the front desk was called. Unfortunately, since Covid that has become the new norm. This review would be a five but the evening of June 2 there was no cook/chef therefore the kitchen was closed... we did manage to go into town and find a fast food place as not many places are open on Sundays. We made it back in time to have a refreshment before the bar area closed at 10 PM. The morning of June 3, they did have a cook/chef and we all enjoyed a hot/fresh breakfast. The prices are very reasonable!! And on June 3, we made it back from being out and about in time to have a refreshment before turning in too. Uber eats and door dash deliveries are welcomed. The front desk staff is knowledgeable and once has offered up several suggestions as to what to do to take up some time...Thank you Katy B. Our bathroom sink, drained, a very slowly, and that was promptly addressed by maintenance. The parking lot is huge. read more

I enjoyed my stay here. I was very thankful that the gym was open. I especially like how the staff is not allowing the corona virus to defeat them. They still enforce social distancing, etc but they have not completely shut down. Let me add that I had a brioche breakfast sandwich from the hotel restaurant. It was outstanding!!! Stayed at the Courtyard while in town for work. The building and the lobby look new and modern. I was surprised by the tired feel of the rooms. The rooms look like they are straight from the late 90s. I have such an issue with hotel rooms that still have carpet...yuck! And the other "yuck" for me is a shower with a shower curtain. Gross!! Everything looked clean enough. The bed was comfortable (except the pillows where like crumpled up crepe paper). There are no USB ports I found in the room (which is a pain). The hairdryer was broken. They were out of regular coffee packets for the rooms, so you had to go downstairs to get coffee. Everyone was friendly enough. It's convenient to the airport and they have a shuttle which is also convenient. Because of it's proximity to the airport I might stay there again, but if I was in town for something else, I would like choose a different property. read more

I have been a 'Bonvoy/Marriott Rewards member for 20+ years, and Marriott staff saved my bacon! Thank you to a great stay at the Courtyard Marriott- airport location in Springfield, MO. Hotel was clean, quiet and well maintained. I used the free shuttle service - flight got in late at almost midnight (please remember to tip your shuttle drivers generously! This is easily a $10+ cab or Uber ride anywhere else!) to the hotel from the Missouri airport and back from the hotel to the airport for my return. That ride to the airport was at 4 AM I left my phone on the shuttle seat and did not realize until I got I to the airport (to check in) that my phone was misplaced. What a mess! My electronic ticket was gone, i had zero contact information (411 at a pay phone is $.75 and that's if you can even find a pay phone and have quarters on you! Then to get through the voice prompts to get the phone number was impossible.) Long story short, Ace my shuttle driver realized I left my phone and BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE AIRLINE Counter!! Night receptionist extraordinaire Cindy assisted Ace with my name and Ace remembered my airline. The gate agent brought my phone to the gate and it was returned before my flight home! Above and beyond service! Thank you Ace for your kindness in driving through torrential rains (twice) to get me to the airport safely then again to return my phone. Marriott has always treated me well- but this was absolute premier support. Thank you- thank you- thank you!! read more

Pretty bad. I was just thrown over the edge when I ask for lotion because lotion was not provided in the room. I was handed a 0.75 ounce bottle and I was told "that is all I have got". This little bottle won't even cover one leg. Last night when I discovered there was no lotion I had to use the hair conditioner in the shower. I stayed in the Comfort Inn Suites for the last two nights in Saint Robert, MO for $129.00/night. The Comfort Inn was spectacular. I thought the Marriott would be over the top because of their reputation and my many stays at Marriotts. Not so much. I am putting photos on to show you what I wrote is true. The grout on the tile floor of the bathroom was black. So noticeable. No extra blankets though there was closet space for one. Incredibly cheap toilet paper. They can do better. The good points: nice TV, two double beds though I question if the sheets were washed, small refrigerator and microwave, desk/chair and sitting chair. read more

Marriot never lets me down. This is the closest hotel to the airport and Im happy for that. The front desk attendant was super delightful, the hotel is clean. I actually don't even wanna go home at this point. I didn't have a reservation, and the attendant was more than happy and willing to accommodate my travel needs. My room is modern and tastefully decorated, the king sized bed is perfect. The sheets smell so fresh and crisp. If I get back out to Missouri; I'll be sure to stay here again.. This was the dirtiest room I have ever seen at a Marriott property. The bathroom corners and edges had visible dirt and there were brown drips all over the walls. The room edges were dirty, with lots of debris from former guests. There was an ancient chocolate bar in the desk drawer.The ottoman had a huge stain. There is one tiny elevator for 3 floors, people were standing around waiting in the morning. The bistro is crazy expensive. I purchased a latte and 3 muffins for $25. I was amazed at how inexpensive this night was, but now I see why. read more

Overall, great location, amenities, service and reasonable price. I only stayed one night on my way from Branson to Boston but everything was even better than I expected. They allowed early check-in, let me check my car seat at the desk rather than hauling it to my room. The bistro chef and manager let me order at opening time instead of waiting for dinner time to begin; they offered table service and even voluntarily brought over a glass of ice water. My little girl enjoyed the private booth with wall mounted tv. I was satisfied with my sandwich and sides, including a couple local brews. The pool was clean and just being repaired so heat returned. It was tolerable temperature when I ventured in but the kind gentleman from engineering explained the situation and I later saw families flocking in. The room was clean, crisp and inviting. I enjoyed being able to watch my favorite shows on internet tv just by logging in on my phone. I even felt secure when I could manually request my information to be forgotten. I liked the mounted shampoo, conditioner, body wash even though I think this is a cost saving measure I like the reduction of plastic/trash. Catching the 4 am shuttle was easy to arrange and actually complete. The only things I didn't particularly like were: not being able to speak to a local representative to clear doubts about shuttle prior to arrival (spoke with call center rep after looping for 8 minutes answering the same questions), there was no body lotion in the room, and I found small pieces of rusting metal floating in the tub while I bathed my little girl. read more

Nice building on the outside, a but dated on the inside. Parking was great, plenty of spaces. Lots of entrances that have elevators close by. Hallways were clean and there were no issues with noise. The room was pretty spacious compared to other hotels. Bed was decent, a bit squishy but that's to be expected at a hotel. There was a hot tub in the room, which was a nice surprise. It was great after a 9 hour drive. The biggest issue I had was the bathroom. First, the sink is separate from the shower and toilet. It's mainly an issue because I get ready for bed while my partner is trying to get to sleep and the noise keeps him awake. I hate this layout in general anywhere that it's used. Second, the bathroom door did not shut or lock completely. Wasn't even close. The latch was no where near fitting like it should. Which means it's always been broken and they just don't care. Then, the shower head - what a piece of junk. Photo attached. They had one of those detachable hose things and it did not work. It would just fall down the pole so you would have to crouch down to use the shower. Wtf? Fix it. Overall, I'm upset about the bathroom issues but if you don't care about that, which you probably don't, then I do recommend this place. read more

This is a pretty hotel with a pleasant, efficient staff. Check in was a breeze. The lobby area isn't large but it's very nicely designed. The style of door key was new to me so it took several tries before I figured out how to get into my room. I was pleased that it had a small refrigerator. I liked that the window is the entire length of the wall. This hotel is clean and appears well taken care of. If you're traveling to Springfield I definitely recommend Courtyard Marriott, it's nice. read more

Very nice Courtyard. Desk staff was knowledgeable and fast - no problems. The rooms are standard Courtyard, well appointed, large enough and super clean. Bed was very comfortable. The Bistro is a nice spot to grab a bite. There are no restaurants in walking distance, so this is a good place to eat. Again, wait staff was very quick and pleasant. Free internet and airport shuttle - this is a big plus for business travelers. I'll be back to stay on my next business trip to Springfield. read more

The hotel is in the middle of some upgrades on the outside...which was not mentioned to me when I made the reservation. Great that they are upgrading. Staff was helpful during my short stay. Parking was a little clunky with all the construction. When that is finished, no doubt this will be a much better stay. Had some minor issues with the hotel wireless, but corrected it within an hour of checking in. read more

I have not stayed at this particular property in the past, but it is not up to the standards as other Courtyard properties that I stayed at. The location is great...just off the freeway but there is not much around it. The property is showing some wear for sure. This is fine but things have to be fixed. This property just recently added keyless entry on iPhones. Great feature but it didn't work for me. Not a big deal but still. The shower was probably my biggest complaint. Rain type shower head pointed downward at an angle but not in a position to do much good. I found myself searching for the best stream of water to rinse off with. Not a bad property. read more

Stayed for around two weeks in a room with comfortable double full beds, mini fridge, microwave, nice TV, iron, quiet AC/heater, fast internet, appropriately sized desk, hot water, nice water pressure and clean floors. The lobby was kept very clean as were the entire grounds. Sometimes we would get back late and we would see someone cleaning up trash and walking the lot. This gave us a sense of security. The lot lights fully illuminated the parking areas so that helped too. Once when we came back late, a worker in uniform that I think was just walking the lot stopped us to verify that we were guests. Bravo! The doors that I used were always fully closed, latched and locked - those that were supposed to be. Our key cards only had issues on one door but it would always eventually work. The courtyard itself is very nice. This hotel is next to an interstate so being outside isn't always quiet, but I did find quite a few nights were not that bad. It's nice when they have the fire pit on, especially in October. There is seating all the way around the fire with additional seating in other areas of the courtyard. The indoor heated pool is very small given the size and type of hotel that this is. I did not use the pool but I did see a lot of people enjoying it every night (you can see the pool from the courtyard and I spent a lot of time in the courtyard). During our stay they didn't have any breakfast included. Instead they had The Bistro, a breakfast and dinner diner located in the lobby. Guests have to pay for food, even breakfast. Hopefully that will change. The food and service at The Bistro were impeccable. They were missing Dr Pepper so that's not good. Hotel staff were all professional, courteous and helpful. A note as to the missing star: 5 stars is an extremely difficult one to receive from me and we did have some very minor issues during our stay that were handled professionally. read more

This hotel should not be open during their renovation. To be fair, the staff and even construction workers were very friendly and courteous. However, the hotel smelled of construction and mildew covered by fragrance. They literally have air fresheners attached to the walls. Both mold and fragrance are dangerous from a health perspective and can be very problematic for a person with respiratory problems, asthma, allergies, etc. I did not end up staying and would not book here again even after the renovation. read more

Needed to stop after 14 1/2 hrs of driving. So we swung in here to crash for the night. The whole front of the building is under construction but that is not a bad thing for businesses to improve their buildings. I got us checked in and went to our room. As soon as you walked in there was a weird musky smell. Can't really describe what it smelled like. The rooms are pretty out dated with the 80's wall paper and carpeting. They do have a nice lobby area with a bar and bistro kitchen serving food. I did like that the room had a microwave, frig and coffee maker. IMO, $114 is a bit steep for a small out dated room to crash for a night. read more

I've been staying at this hotel when I'm in Springfield for a few years now. It's very convenient to the airport -- just a few minutes away with easy highway access. The rooms are clean. The staff is efficient and helpful. They have a pool and exercise room with good equipment. If you need laundry done they have machines on site for simple wash and dry, or if you need something done professionally you can send it out first thing in the morning and it will be back usually that evening (except not on Saturday and Sunday -- no outside laundry service on the weekend). The beds do seem to be due for a mattress replacement sometimes. If you're really sensitive to road noise from the highway, plan ahead and get a room facing the more quiet road. Although you can buy food and snacks at the hotel, and there is a bistro for breakfast and dinner, the prices have lately been put way up. So here's a tip: buy some snacks/supplies from a nearby market and take advantage of your in-room fridge. Fast food is a short drive away, and you can get Chinese food, pizza, etc. delivered (I've ordered from Rice House many times and they're great). Another weird thing I've noticed lately -- their TV and internet service must be via satellite, because in a hard rain service will go out until the heavy weather passes -- very noticeable in thunderstorm season. I've stayed at other hotels closer to town, but at this hotel (for me) it's the right combination of privacy, helpful service, low traffic, and location. read more

I've never given a Marriott property such a low score. However, this property is sooooo deserving: 1) Crappy location not in the usual office park setting of other Courtyard properties. It may be near the airport, but the location is off a busy, noisy highway and the surrounding area is more trailer park than office park. 2) I'm an accountant who needs quiet to work. I'm listening to air brakes on trucks and other highway noises. How do people tolerate this disturbingly-loud place? 3) Smallest bistro I've ever seen in a Courtyard. Oh, there's plenty of seating, but the food counter (for want of a better description) is woefully small and I've yet to be in the lobby when the bistro is actually open notwithstanding the hours I was advised it operates. 4) Lousy market product--salty snacks and nothing anyone interested in good health would eat. 5) There was the distinct odor of cigarette smoke somewhere near my third floor room. One of the main reasons for Marriott being my preferred lodging is because of their long-standing smoke-free policy. Clearly, people who frequent this town either can't read or are so hooked on nicotine they cannot restraint themselves because this property has the 'honor' of being the only Marriott that presented me with a secondary form advising me of the penalty for smoking in the hotel room. For the record I've never smoked and am highly sensitive to smoke. 6) My trash runneth over. Could someone at least have knocked on my door and asked if I needed some type of service?! Too much to ask? For a loyal rewards member? I'd ask what is wrong with these people but I think I know the answer. read more

Me, the dude and the dogbaby moved from So Cal to Springfield last month after I got an awesome job offer. Silly me, I thought finding a cute house to rent would be a breeze so we didn't plan a trip out to find a place in advance and instead booked 5 days here upon arrival into town thinking that would be long enough. We let them know that we had our dog with us when we checked in which was no big deal, but there was a pet cleaning fee ($75 I think? No big deal considering the length of our stay) and they were awesome enough to put us at the end of the hall near the stairs to make taking him in and out easy. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. While the north end of town isn't the nicest, the hotel is plenty nice and I always felt safe taking the pup out, even pretty late at night. I also never encountered hordes of people stacked up smoking around the exit from the stairs like I did at every other hotel on our road trip. It turned out that finding a place took long. A lot longer. We ended up extending our reservation multiple times and were here almost two weeks. The front desk was friendly at every interaction, though there was sometimes a pretty long line when we wanted to go down to ask for something. We stayed in the same room over all the reservations with no issue. They have laundry facilities if you need them (we did and it was so much more convenient than going to a laundromat). The restaurant is pricey for what it is, but I really appreciated being able to get something better than fried food when I really did not feel like going anywhere (chicken quinoa salad!). If you have a car to get yourself around or need to be near the airport, this is definitely my recommendation in town for the perfect mix of affordability and nice-ness (not a word? I don't care!). The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that the wi fi in our room was pretty slow and would often bump us off and make us click through to reconnect at random times. read more

I did however have an issue with the the breakfast, I figured I would stop on in grab a bite to eat since it was setup like every other place with a free breakfast. It wasn't until I had my plate and started eating that a woman showed up and asked what I wanted to drink, I told her and she promptly returned. As I was getting ready to leave, much to my surprise, she brought over a bill. Had a quick trip to Springfield this property was perfect. Great check in very clean rooms. Easy access to just about everything in Springfield. I was really impressed with the way Managment handled an issue. We got back in late after an event. The people in the room next to us were still celebrating something with a number of friends. After 1130in the evening the music and party noise were too much to take. We reported the issue to the front desk (we were the third or fourth call) Managment dealt with the situation very quickly. read more

I was in town for two nights, traveling to Branson for work. It was very close to the airport and the highway, which was convenient for our stay. I believe they recently made renovations to the lobby and rooms. The lobby was very modern looking with a large touch screen information kiosk, a business and seating area, and a restaurant area with internet connections. The room was fairly basic, with a love seat, desk, king-sized bed, and 25" tube TV. There was free wi-fi, which seemed to have decent speeds. It is a bit away from things, and there wasn't much within walking distance. There appeared to be a restaurant in front of it, but it appears to be an event center now. While I wouldn't say I was impressed, I wasn't at all disappointed with my stay. read more

The property has nice features, like the outdoor fire pit, small and not crowded pool area that includes a large "hot tub". The room was nice, but a bit smaller than most suite style hotels. The staff was friendly enough. Be ready to be nickel and dimed. No complimentary breakfast or coffee in the lobby. There is a smallish modern restaurant on the property. The wifi is included, but high speed wifi will cost you $9/day. The large bottle of water in your room will set you back a few bucks. We often stay in this style of hotel and have stayed with Marriott a few times, and the extra costs were annoying. read more

This Courtyard is located just a hop skip and a jump away from the Springfield/Branson Regional Airport. They have a free airport shuttle that runs 24 hours. If you have an early flight out of town, then this is the right hotel for you. If not, then I would recommend another hotel on Glenstone in Springfield just because the Courtyard really isn't near anything other than the airport. The rooms are typical Courtyard rooms with free wired internet. They have a little restaurant downstairs that serves a breakfast buffet and they also have a restaurant on the premises. Free coffee is located right in the lobby so if you are running late and need that cup of joe to get you going, they have it right there. read more
