We stopped by because we wanted to change up our usual routine. Typically we stop at a Mexican restaurant but today we were feeling somewhat adventurous! At first glance you can tell this is a mom and pop shop and when you walk in it's exactly that. Upon entering we noticed there were maybe 2 parties waiting for their food. ( picking up) We walk up and asked how it worked. The cashier pretty much told us that it's either regular or large ( family style plate) starting at $9.99 We went ahead and ordered two entrees and one side. Kind of like what you would do at a main chain Chinese restaurant. We ordered a large soda. Everything was made fresh. So it came out piping hot. Not a big deal. Service was great the cashier was really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. She brought our meal to our table. The portions are great for the price. Though my kung pao was more celery than anything lol and hardly any chicken. Maybe a good five pieces ? The orange chicken was more breaded than other orange chicken I've had. Nonetheless the flavor was very much home made. Ambience was good. Rather empty and it seems very well taken care of. Perhaps they have better dishes on their menu. Would def. Come back to try something else.

The lady behind the counter gives off a pushy and rude vibe. As for the food I was highly disappointed in the orange chicken. The chicken tasted dry and old. You could barely taste any chicken in it. The chow mein and broccoli beef were decent. Would I come back? Considering it's 20 min from where I live probably not.

I ordered orange chicken and fried rice, fried rice was nasty and the orange chicken had no chicken. Returned the food and asked for white rice and teriyaki chicken. I think they got mad because the teriyaki chicken didn't look or taste like chicken. I definitely would not recommend

The lady at the front wasn't nice, she rushed us and kind of had an attitude. The rice tastes weird, regular steamed rice shouldn't taste like what i tasted.

This little mom and pop place blows Panda and any other Chinese food place OUT OF THE WATER. Everything is made fresh to order, and absolutely delicious. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and they never disappoint. The spicy kung pow three delight is my favorite. All their appetizers, soups, and entrees are always super hot (temperature) and full of flavor. This is my go to place for egg drop soup, no one makes it better. It's astonishing to me that this place isn't packed every day.

Fair price for food, fresh Chinese food and friendly service. The food is much better than the local steam table place and the portions are good. We will definitely be coming back here.

Hunan Beef. The cook will make it as spicy as you want. This is real Chinese dish. If you like Mongolian Beef you will like Hunan Beef.

Greasy food! Not tasty at all. Taste even worse the next day. We threw all our food away. No one wanted to eat it after the first day.

The flavor was good and I enjoyed them, but unfortunately they were missing one of my favorite parts of xiao long bao. The soup. There was very little to no broth inside. The braised beef noodle soup was easily my favorite dish. The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, and it came out at the perfect temperature. My only complaint was the noodles themselves. They were pretty tangled and clumped together, almost like they had been sitting refrigerated before being added to the broth. Once separated, though, I really enjoyed the dish. We also ordered the sliced beef with hot peppers. The beef had good flavor, but I thought the sauce was a little too dry for my preference. And when they say hot peppers, they mean it, there were A LOT of jalapeños. There was also a small wait between receiving the noodle soup and the rest of our entrées, so the timing could have been a little better. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and is conveniently located near Downtown Redlands. Overall, I'm glad to see a place serving good Shanghai style Chinese food in an area where there aren't a ton of options like this. Definitely a place I'd come back to and try more of the menu. 7/10
