Had the chicken eggroll, fried wontons, hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, house noodle soup. The chicken eggroll was hands-down one of the best eggrolls I've ever had. The wontons were excellent as well. I really enjoyed the hot and sour soup and my husband thought the house noodle soup was excellent. I didn't care for the egg drop soup. The soup was kind of sweet it has corn in it not the flavor I was looking for. It had been a long time since we had picked up food from here. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later this time! I called the order in and it was ready for pick up in the drive-through. What if i told you that whatever you want will always be fresh? When you visit here, you pick what you want off of the menu, then it gets made FRESH! every single time. Theres nothing better than a consistent tasty dish. Everyone that i bring here loves it! The fact that everything gets made fresh is the best part. I have tried about 6-8 Chinese restaurants from Banning to Yucaipa and this one ranks toward the bottom. The prices are reasonable, but you get what you pay for... The chicken fried rice was greasy and had no (0) vegetables. Very odd. I don't think I have ever had fried rice that didn't have vegetables! The other dishes I have tried were ok, but nothing to write about (literally). The Chinese restaurant across the street has much better food. It is a bit higher priced, but it is worth the extra money. read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight. I'm very picky with Chinese food, I won't eat anything sitting in a bin. This was recommended by a coworker as they cook everything fresh. I ordered for pickup and took it home. We didn't order anything exotic, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, fried rice, chow mein, egg drop soup. As soon as I opened the teriyaki chicken I knew what it tasted like. It had a hint of dirty clothes hamper taste combined with the worst cuts of meat you could think of. The orange chicken was chewy and almost all breading. I liked the chow mein and the rice even though it was kind of greasy. The egg drop soup tasted like corn water with egg ribbons. I'm so sorry I didn't like it! To be honest I will more than likely try it again just in hopes it is not as terrible as this was tonight. I am nauseated just thinking about it. read more

Make sure to specifically ask for rice with your food. Restaurant didn't offer of rice with the meal and it wasn't in the bag upon pick-up. The meat in the dishes is quite mushy. Lots of corn in egg drop, just be aware if that's not your preference. read more

I had the orange chicken and teriyaki with fried rice. The amount of orange chicken and teriyaki is less than what they would serve at Panda Express, they did not skimp on the rice though. The flavors were ok. The teriyaki tastes quite water downed. the orange chicken is soggy not crispy. The rice was good, a little burnt, but good. Nothing was spectacular, from the hole in the wall restaurant which is very dated to the fortune cookies which tell no fortunes only wisdom. This is our favorite of all Chinese food places! It is small business and the same wonderfully, nice gal takes care of us every time. She's quick, effective and they have great food. Not a fan of this place at all. This is my second time eating here and the food is just not very good. The first time I came here I ordered orange chicken and it was pretty unoriginal and swimming in sauce. Tonight I ordered the cashew chicken which was again swimming in sauce and the flavors were pretty bland. Their fried rice is extremely boring it looks just like white rice where some soy sauce added for color with a tiny amount of egg mixed in every once in a while. One reviewer said this place was better than Tang's across the street which I can't even understand because Tang's is delicious and has flavor. My grandma has lived in Calimesa for over 20 years, and truer words have never been spoken. Anyway, about the food -- it's awesome. It's made fresh to order, and it's absolutely delicious. The owner remembered me by name last weekend and I haven't been there in over a year. You get a massive amount of food for the money. We ordered two dinners (C4 and C8), each for under $6, and we were able to stretch them for two meals. The garlic beef is flavorful and spicy, and the orange chicken is amazing. There isn't much ambiance for dining in, but it you call in an order, it's ready quickly and the owner greets you with a smile when you arrive. So good! read more

They even have a convenient drive through window to come pick up your food if you don't feel like getting out of the car. Like for example if your already in your pajamas like I was. Lol! The crazy part about it is when you get home your orange chicken is still crispy as if it just came out of the wok. We also love their mu shu chicken, broccoli beef and egg foo yung. I did some work out in this area and since I am a sucker for Chinese, I walked right into this one hoping for the best. First off, the menu is very limited (for Chinese) and since I couldn't decide, I made a custom meal. Kung Pao chicken and shrimp stir fry of some sort. Cost me $8.80 exactly with tax. I was not happy with my food. It was about 90% vegetables consisting of mainly celery and 10% chicken and shrimp Aside from the very important fact, the food didn't taste very good. I'm guessing they don't use any MSG so that made it even worse. So basically, I got ripped a new one and the food was horrible. Lesson learned. read more

I'm giving 5 stars because of the freshness of the food, the excellent preparation, and its consistently appetizing taste. Also, even though it is prepared as you order it, it's still very fast! I highly recommend the orange chicken...it's not drowning in its sauce, but sitting on top of the sauce so that it stays crispy. Don't worry there's plenty of sauce. The chef knows what he's doing. The moo goo gai pan is also really good, as is the kung pao. For soup, order the wor wonton...full of wonderful tastes and enough to be dinner by itself.
