The restaurant is nice and clean. We got seated right away. They have a Japanese and Chinese menu, lots of food choices. I ordered the Orange Chicken, menu said spicy. I found the chicken and sauce wasn't spicy. It had a few peppers in sauce so put spicy on menu. I've had better Orange Chicken with more flavor. There was a lot of Orange Chicken, it could have fed two people easily. My two friends ordered the Bento Box, it had 2pcs of Spring Rolls, 4 pcs of California Roll, White Rice and Miso Soup. This restaurant is tucked away in a large shopping center and is very nice inside. Came in awhile back for dinner and found the food and service to be satisfactory. Well I thought for Valentine's Day. I would give them another try. It's been an over a year since we went there last time. December 2024. But I was disappointed in the dish I ordered. The Yellow Curry Chicken!! It showed to be a spicy dish. It was Not Spicy it was no where near to be spicy and it was watery and bland !! I also ordered a Spicy Salmon roll that was ok but no wasabi or ginger came with it. My Mom's $40 Sashimi came with no rice or miso soup. Which was an additional for $2 and $3.99.!!!!! My friend got Sweet Sour Pork. I tasted it and enjoyed it more than my dish. Now the waiter. He was overwhelmed if he had to be asked anything about for instance the tea pot. He should had filled it full the first time then tell us to let it sit awhile before serving. Then we would have a more flavorful tea. After getting our drinks he came back with our orders served them then took off before we could ask him for refills on my friend and my drinks. Then she needed a knife to cut the sweet sour pork pieces. But we didn't see him any where to ask him. He don't check on us to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. I waved my arms in the air to finally get his attention to get refills on our ice tea. I paid $103 dollars and still left him a $15 tip which I felt he didn't work for but I felt sorry for him he was taking orders delivered them AND had to clean his own tables after customers. I should've asked for the Manager but only saw her when we entered the place and she never came out except for to go orders up front. I thought Oh Well. I came on a busy night. I really wanted to send my dish back and order sushi instead. I won't be coming back again. I know a place in Redlands that give you Miso soup, rice, salad, and sashimi for $35. And they have more than two servers for their restaurant that is half the size of BellaYang. Ambiance was clean and kinda dark to see the menu's small print. Nice restaurant on the inside and very clean, but the food wasn't what we hoped. We had a spicy tuna roll that tasted really excellent, but later that night we felt a little sick. We also ordered pan fried noodles which were really a pile of dry chow mein noodles with an odd sauce. It was not edible. The Beef chow fun was bland and forgettable. The shrimp dumpling was also bland and unseasoned. Part of the issue is the menu is not descriptive and there are no photos for reference. That would be helpful. The sushi menu might be the safest option. I wouldn't recommend any of the the items we tried from their Chinese menu. read more

I would advise against visiting this establishment. We decided to try this place out for dinner, as we had received several gift cards from a raffle that we won. When we went to pay, we included 5 $10 cards towards our bill, we were then informed that only one could be used at a time. Because we were totally surprised, we asked to speak to a manager. The server came back and said again, we can only accept 1 $10 card for this purchase. Nowhere was there any indication that all cards couldn't be combined at one time. The owner came out, refused to honor all of them, and even made false accusations as though we may have "forged" them . Last night, I ordered a take out order wonton soup and mixed tempura. I got home and opened the soup, take a few bites, and I notice there is DIRT still on the vegetables. I open the box of tempura and they are all drenched in oil and burned. So disappointing and I spent almost $30 for both items. I've gone here twice and each time I've had a great experience. I love that they have two menus front and back and plenty of options. The second time around I enjoyed their baked salmon rolls and their jalapeño appetizer. They were both delicious! Service was great as well. The staff were pretty nice and it's a cute spot. I had my hesitation trying this place due to the demographics in this area, and the combination of sushi and Chinese food being served in one place. I mainly ended up here because I was traveling with my kids and they had to use the restroom. To my surprise, the food was quite good, which is why I came back today. I wasn't going out of my way to eat here. I just happened to be in the area again after shopping at the Cabazon outlet. Menu is very extensive. One menu has sushi & rolls, and the other menu has Chinese dishes. This place probably wouldn't stand out if it was in SGV, but I have nothing negative to say about the food. Everything was fresh and tasty. Sashimi Deluxe wasn't anything exceptional, but all cuts were fresh and portion was generous. Cha Shu Bao wasn't as good as ones you'd find at dim sum places in SGV, but still very tasty. These take a while to make, so not something I recommend if you are in a hurry. Takes about 20 minutes. Shrimp Lo Mein had good balance of flavor. Not too salty or sweet, and didn't leave any weird aftertaste. My wife really liked this dish too. Sichuan Boiled Fish tasted clean with just a subtle bit of spiciness. I would've preferred it to be spicier but I still found it to be satisfying. I wouldn't mind ordering this dish again. Service was prompt and attentive, and place looked clean. If it was just me and my wife, we would probably go to one of the pubs in the area, but this is a good place when traveling with kids. Whether I dine in or not my order is always quickly made and delicious! The only complaint I have is the orange chicken isn't crispy and too much watery sauce, it is a bit much for me and the tap water is not the best. Nonetheless, staff are always attentive and always offer suggestions. First time visiting this restaurant, Great service ( Jagger) ,good drinks , we started with the chicken lettuce wrapped ( the chicken didn't have any seasoning ( or salt at all) as well all our rest of the meals (4) were under seasoned, we feel like the chef ‍is a bit afraid of using salt / seasoning!! Went tonight 1/11. Food was great- Mapo Tofu tasted like it's supposed to... contrary to a previous review, Sichuan sauce is just its own unique taste. My friend from Chengdu made me many dishes with the sauce and I felt it was accurate. They put the good cream cheese in the philly rolls. I also had hot and sour soup, and this was also good. Besides this, the restaurant is super pretty. The lanterns, center bar, lighting are all very chic.
