DECENT CHINESE FOOD ON-THE-GO... I'm a busy boy during lunch time and I needed to find a place near work! Luckily, Wall Chinese saved the day. Having a drive-thru window at a Chinese restaurant is an EXCELLENT idea and for that reason alone I'll be returning here. I mean when do you see that?? I also love the big drive-thru menu. It's clear to see and has lots of lunch and dinner options. The service was exceptionally fast and the lady who handed me my food was pleasant. The food is not the absolute greatest, it's standard. I still prefer Panda Express' teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki chicken here at Wall is a bit dry. However, the noodles are yummy! My meal was very filling and they gave good portions. The orange chicken was well-cooked, it was a blend of spicy and sweet. I liked it. If you're passing through Banning or work around here, I'd recommend it. There was a gentleman outside cleaning the parking lot and keeping the restaurant well-maintained. I saw a few parking spots, it's a tighter lot but very accessible off Ramsey.

Does anyone else remember their $7.99 AYCE lunch special?? My coworkers and I used to come here all the time for their buffet but not anymore since they've stopped it. However this is still a very unique Chinese restaurant because it has a drive thru and they sell egg foo young (my favorite!!!). I don't see it in their drive thru menu but they do have veggie and meat egg foo young available

The top picture golden brown and plump shrimp

The service from the lady owner she was so disrespectful. I ordered the shrimp and the one regret I have is not taking a picture of the shrimp, I got . They were suppose to look like the photo I just wished I took a picture of what I brought back. I took one bite and they were nasty. They were flat and crunchy and it seemed like they had pieces of shrimp not whole shrimp. I took them back and the owner laughed at me just kept laughing. No manners to her customers at all. She said she could only exchange for wontons. How is that a fair trade I paid for shrimp $7.99 and she wanted to give me wontons for $6.99 and as she continues to laugh at me. I choose two egg rolls which were still cheaper. But I would never recommend this place. The owner is very rude doesn't know how to treat customers if they don't agree with her. And she doesn't know how to compensate a customer to keep them happy. All I wanted was a real shrimp not like a crab cake but with shrimp and flat and no taste. I would never ever recommend this place. I would give them a minus 10 they only got one star below cuz I had to pick at least one. I'll never be back.

Someone posted that this was their "Go To " Chinese Fast food restaurant. Never trust what you read. Absolutely percent the WORST Dive I've ever eaten at. 1. Orange Chicken is probably the worst I've ever had. It tastes vaguely like tomato sauce drizzled on greasy deep fried dark chicken. 2. BBQ pork - or rubber pork would be more like it. Dark pork is always a bad sign Cold and chewy. I felt disgusted eating this food I couldn't leave fast enough.

I've ordered every Chef Special on the menu. Great food every time! Soups are also delicious. Friendly staff.

The flavor was good and I enjoyed them, but unfortunately they were missing one of my favorite parts of xiao long bao. The soup. There was very little to no broth inside. The braised beef noodle soup was easily my favorite dish. The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, and it came out at the perfect temperature. My only complaint was the noodles themselves. They were pretty tangled and clumped together, almost like they had been sitting refrigerated before being added to the broth. Once separated, though, I really enjoyed the dish. We also ordered the sliced beef with hot peppers. The beef had good flavor, but I thought the sauce was a little too dry for my preference. And when they say hot peppers, they mean it, there were A LOT of jalapeños. There was also a small wait between receiving the noodle soup and the rest of our entrées, so the timing could have been a little better. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and is conveniently located near Downtown Redlands. Overall, I'm glad to see a place serving good Shanghai style Chinese food in an area where there aren't a ton of options like this. Definitely a place I'd come back to and try more of the menu. 7/10

The restaurant itself is super spacious, and since we came at kind of an odd time after the lunch rush, it was really calm and relaxing inside. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, and it was really good. The calamari was crispy, lightly seasoned, and still tender inside, which made it super satisfying to eat. I do wish it came with a dipping sauce, but we already had sweet and sour sauce on the table and ended up using that instead, which actually paired really well with it. We also got the Chicken Pad Thai, which honestly impressed me a lot. The portion size was huge for the price, I think it was around $12-13, which felt really worth it for how much food we got. The noodles were flavorful, well cooked, and had a good balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors without feeling too heavy. The people working there were really welcoming and kind, and it felt like a family-run restaurant, which made the experience feel even more comforting and homey.

Don't expect refills or conversations about the day or the meaning of life. Bathroom: clean. Toilet and a urinal. Food: Before my main course arrived, I was served a small cup of egg drop soup and some crispy noodles with some type of sweet dipping sauce. Considering these were complimentary, I'm not going to complain. Soup was my okay. my mapo tofu came with a side of white rice. Upgrading to brown or fried rice will cost you an additional $1. This is the most bizarre mapo tofu I've ever had. Rather than the traditional ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, this came with long strips of fried pork and no mushrooms. I'm also used to thicker sauce, but this one was very watery. A tad spicy, but not over bearing. Maybe a recipe from a different Provence of china? Not what I was looking for. $15.00 later and a fortune cookie...and I was done. Not sure if I'd come here for the mapo tofu again. Others in the restaurant offered the 2-3 item combos. Typical orange chicken or Kung Pao chicken w rice or chow mein. Not my thing.
