Awesome for chinese takeout! and they have a drive thru! Good flavors, great balance, good price. Just went here for the first time today and wow it was good! Don't know why I haven't gone there before, I definitely have been missing out. After reading the few reviews on this place, I decided to try it today. I ordered C8 and it was good, but definitely not great. It was Orange Chicken (over done), fried rice (not a ton of flavor) and their special stir fry which was pretty good. If I were to return, I would not order Iced Tea, as it is not brewed and is directly out of the drink machine and I think I saw the name Lipton on it. I will give them this: The portions were large and it was cooked to order and not from under a heat lamp, though the Orange Chicken tasted like it had been fried a few times. Honestly I really like the food here. That is why I have come back. But tonight im just really frustrated. This has happened a few times now. I have placed orders for pick and have gotten some thing different. This evening I placed an order for pick up of what we normally order in person without problem. 2 orders of egg foo young al la carte and house rice. And the Lady clarified that I asked for al la carte. When my husband got home he had 2 full orders of egg foo young instead of al la carte. Which turned a 20 dollar meal into a 30 dollar meal. I am all for people who are hard working and trying to make an honest living, but this has happened one to many times to be a mistake, especially when she asked to clarify the order. Bad choice of coming here. Ordered the shrimp chowmein and the noodles were too watery. Flavor was really bad. Will not be back.

Really good value. Not gourmet food by any stretch but very flavorful and fresh. If you're looking for a quick lunch for a good deal but don't want to eat some nasty steam table s*** that's been festering all afternoon then come here and you will be more than pleased. Nice lady works out front and the food is pretty damn good. Also if what you want isn't on the menu if you ask they will usually make it if they can. The egg foo young with vegetables is really good but if you get it to go ask for the gravy on the side. Also the spicy crispy eggplant is on point. read more

Great prices and portion sizes! At first their food tastes good, and then it has a weird after taste. So if you are looking for oily and fatty food, esp. the chow mein, and chicken then give it a try. The teriyaki needs more sauce as well. I will stick with Panda Express for sure. read more

my family and I have lived in Yucaipa for years but we recently moved more inland to Calimesa. We love Chinese food and a good restaurant can be hard to find. When we first started coming here its been pretty good, nice portions food was good and cooked fresh. I ordered some Chinese food last night and it did me in I will probably not be ordering from here again. I ordered the Shrimp chop suey with chow mein i went into this thinking it wasnt going to be that great, unless your at a chinese food joint on the docks theres a high chance its going to be frozen, that I didnt mind so much as the fact they werent even de-vained. This of course occured to me after I had already had a few pieces of not-so-fresh crap filled shrimp. The chop suey was bland the chow mein was bland. Dont even get me started on the rancid fortune cookies. If my family wants to go here again that's their deal as for me ill go elsewhere if we plan on eating out. read more

I must be crazy. Tried this place based off the reviews. Got the two entree combo of broccoli beef and teriyaki chicken with fried rice and noodles. Thought that would be a safe bet. They didn't give me noodles. The broccoli beef had so many chestnuts in it, the teriyaki chicken looked horrible and fake and the fried rice....I don't know if you can even call it that. It was just brown rice but not real brown rice. Not the best Chinese food....not even ok. The lady was very friendly but I won't go back here. read more

I love this place! We usually get the general chicken because it's always crunchy and has great flavor; the egg foo young with the sauce on the side, the sauce is great and filled with vegetables but we take it home and the sauce on the side ensures it's still crunchy when we get home; the fried rice is good and the chow mien noodles are thick and good and we frequently get the cream cheese wontons, very good and they come with a yummy red sauce. They have a drive thru which is very convenient, especially when I'm stopping by on my way home from work, the owner is really friendly and she remembers her customers and their orders and everything is cooked to order. The atmosphere is kind of weird though - quiet and lone diners sitting around the low tables, so we don't eat in, but overall I highly recommend this place! Gave this place a 5* rating. Deserves no less than 4.5*! I've been here about 8 times now. Food is always prepared fresh. When its not busy (I've never seen it busy) an order for 2 takes about 8-10min. Great flavor and portion size. Average 2 item combo is $6.32ish. If you get 2 special items (garlic beef/ kung Palo chicken) price is $8 something (the garlic shrimp and kung Palo was $9). Well deserved, but if you're not a diva like me, your combo will be around $6. I have never purchased a drink since I'm local. Lady who takes the orders is nice. read more

Best little Chinese restaurant the orange chicken is amazing it's my go to place when on my lunch break

I have been coming to this place for close to ten years and just now realized I have never wrote a yelp on them! Anyone putting less than 5 stars is ridiculous! The married couple who run this place are perhaps the most committed people I have ever seen to a business! They're there 6 days a week, every week, just them two! The lady is abrasive but so nice at the same time, definitely one of a kind! Now onto the food, AMAZING!!! General Chicken is the best and that's what I get 99% of the time but I have ventured out to other things such as their black pepper beef and everything I've tried is great too! I eat at places like pf changs and other fancy Chinese food places and none ever compare to Best Wok! Everything is made to order so it's never old, always delicious and I simply do not have enough positive things to say of this place! Please come here and help keep this business going, I will cry if they ever close down or change ownership!! read more
