I don't know what happened between now and Feb when I went there but the nursing staff and PA/doc got worse. I dropped some pertinent info in the exam room relating to my cycle and the nurse staff drops all fascade of bedside manner and the do wasn't there but 2 minutes. They weren't even busy. I'd suggest just going elsewhere bc this location rolled down the hill into a dumpster fire. read more

Not sure why everyone is giving them such bad ratings. I had a GREAT experience. I just lost my insurance and had to go here because I caught an upper respiratory infection and was leaving town. The doctor took care of me and I was able to make my trip and felt much better within 24 hours. From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor everyone treated me with respect and kindness. The service here is terrible. The front desk wasnt too bad, but it was evident she didnt wanna be there. After a little over an hour, I was called back. The lady who took my vitals had the absolute worst attitude. She was very snippy. I'm actually here because I had to call out sick today and my employer referred me to this clinic. With that said, my employer called me as I was walking to the next room. I told her to give me one second to see what they needed. She huffed and puffed and walked out of the room. I told her she didnt have to leave and that it would only be two seconds. She kept walking and ignored me as if I had just offended her. I followed her out of the room telling her I hung up on my employer and she could come back in. This was the most unprofessional behavior I have ever witnessed at any medical clinic. I understand being at work on a Sunday is no fun, but being at an urgent care on a Sunday is ALSO no fun. We both dont wanna be here, but that doesnt justify rudeness. This lady needs to find a new profession outside of healthcare. We dont need any further lack of empathy in this industry than we already have. Update: I ended up seeing a female doctor who told me that since I was not "dying" that I was able to return to work tomorrow, even though my employer took me off from work. I have congestion, sinus issues, and an uncontrollable cough and I have lost my voice from coughing so much. I was visibly sick. But she verbatim said it did not matter because I was not dying. This place is awful. I came in with a complaint of dizziness and vertigo. First off, I wasn't greeted. I got a nod of the head to sign in and then another nod to take a clipboard. I could hear Linda call to verify my insurance and violate HIPAA from the farthest seat in the waiting area. Name, date of birth, policy number-30 feet away. One she gets off the phone, she asks if I want them to take my copay from the card on file and if I want a receipt. I wait an hour and get called back. They took my blood pressure and got me on a scale. After waiting an additional hour in a back room and falling asleep, I get to see the PA. I get asked what is wrong. Once I tell the PA, she looks at me seriously, says I need a workup for which they do not have the equipment and tells me to go to the ER. How long does it take to surmise that the issues I stated I was having on the paperwork I was asked to fill out weren't treatable in their office?! I really feel like had anyone read what I wrote, this could have been avoided at the front desk and I should've been turned around at that point. No stethoscope, did not check my ears, didn't look at my eyes. No diagnosis, no paperwork; didn't even touch me. My time with the PA was less than 1 minute. No lie. When I rightfully called asked for my copay back because I was neither seen or treated, the office Manager Angie returned my call and told me "unfortunately" that's just the way it is. Won't return. I would drive to Marietta or Douglasville if need be. I've never been so livid. read more

I have been to this location 5 times. Once for my son, and once for me and 2 times for my husband. I like the convenience of checking in online and usually I can find something same day. I have always loved providers until this last visit. We saw an older African American female provider and boy was she RUDE. I probably won't go back to this location after visiting with her- she ordered no blood tests, had awful bedside manner, and told me to be quiet- my husband can speak for himself (he doesn't always know the medical symptoms or things to say, so I added context.) I for sure will just take my money to another urgent care next time. The younger male provider we have seen there has been great the other times, but I would not risk getting the old lady. She is NOT a very good provider, does not listen, and is not thorough. She will throw more antibiotics at you though- if that is what you're looking for. read more

If you need immediate medical care be sure to use this facility. My husband and I have been treated there two different times and were very impressed. Dr. Williams was very efficient and caring in checking on my husband and the previous doctor was great also. We have never had to wait long to be seen and were very happy to learn that they accept Medicare. They charge a very fair amount. I even sent my son in law there who was visiting from Florida and he was so impressed that he said he wished there was a walk in clinic like it where he lives. They only get 2 stars because of the relative closeness to my house. The ladies working. The front desk took over 30 minutes to get my checked in and kept asking for my ID and insurance card multiple times. Been waiting close to an hour now and still have not been seen. There was no one waiting when I came in and now there are 3 people waiting including me. The "normal" receptionist had to leave and they don't have anyone trained to intake patients and process paperwork. If it wasn't for the high ER bill I would go there before coming here. read more

Website stated they close at 7:30, and at 6pm was informed that they had taken the last patient to make sure that they finished by 7:30. As a customer, if that is your policy, you should advise people on your website of that policy. Customers would really appreciate that! Your website is VERY misleading. Went to this facility to get medical help. Staff was very friendly and courteous. After filling out the paperwork and getting checked in my wait time was only about 10 minutes. Cherry, the nurse assistant took all my vitals and was so nice. She made sure I was comfortable and explained the Dr would be in shortly. Dr E, I must call her because I can't pronounce her name was fantastic. She listened to what I had to say about how I was feeling and then proceeded to check me out. She did a thorough exam and told me what my problem was. She prescribed the necessary meds and had them called in. I will use this place again. I'm glad it's in my area. Going back for follow up as Dr E requested. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a Urgent Care. Clean and in a good location. read more

Like a previous reviewer said, the only reason they get a star is because of the location. Otherwise, my experience was nothing short of ridiculous. I went to urgent care because it was a Sunday when everywhere is closed and I am sick. I've never experienced an urgent care that is so incompetent. I walked in and asked if they took my insurance, to which they replied that the only insurance they don't accept is Kaiser. I began the sign in process and completed all of my paperwork. Meanwhile the receptionist still had my insurance card and ID. This had been 10 min or so, so I asked if they were done with them yet. They were not. I also asked again after 20 minutes, as I don't like people holding onto my cards for a long time. Then I was sitting in the waiting room along with 5 other people for 20 more minutes. Total wait time was 45 minutes. No one was called back and the receptionist was on the phone, trying to get in touch with my insurance and was speaking so loudly that I knew he was talking about me and my insurance, so I know everyone else could hear too. This is a violation of my privacy. He called me up and claimed couldn't get in touch with my insurance to "verify." (It is Sunday, of course you can't. But you are holding my CURRENT insurance card with the Urgent Care copay printed on it. It clearly says $35.) He informed me that since they couldn't verify that they would have to charge me the contractual amount of $105. I asked for my cards and paperwork back, because I know Wellstar will take me for the $35 listed on my valid and current insurance card, which they said they accepted when I walked in 45 minutes earlier. Regardless of if my insurance was available for them to call, they have you fill out a form with your card information on it so that they can charge you the uninsured amount, which they could have done at a later time if my insurance was invalid. I left and drove 30 minutes to the Wellstar Acworth Health Park, who was busier, and they got me checked in and triaged in the same amount of time. Save yourself the headache and go to the hospital. The employees are extremely rude starting from the front desk to the nurse taking you back as well as the nurses in the back at the desk. Waited for a long time in an extremely unkempt room. Everyone seemed extremely depressed and it reflected in their work. I don't feel I got the proper care or diagnosis. read more

This is the worse place ever!!! I called to see when was the last time they were taking patients they said 7 we walked in at 6:35 when we got there the front desk receptionist already closed everything down when I told her that we called and was told differently she got disrespectful when she found out it was two of us getting seen she got more disrespectful and told us to go somewhere else and when I talked to the doctor she stood behind the disrespect. I am so happy with this urgent care. The staff is always friendly and the doctors really take the time to listen to your issues that you are having and seem to care. Doctor Williams is wonderful. My primary doctor is a mile from Bestcare in Dallas but I go to Bestcare Now instead of my primary doctor because I feel I get better care there. The hours are great for working people and I have never had a long wait time. I highly recommend this urgent care. read more

I would NOT recommend going to this office - animal shelter would treat you better than their primary doctor named Alana Williams. My husband went by this urgent care on Sept 24, 2018 to get blood work done so he can simply get his blood pressure medicine refilled and to have them look at his ear that has been hurting him. First they accused him of drinking to much - when he doesn't even drink - that is why he has his ear and health problems. Then they said he doesn't even need blood pressure medicine because his blood pressure is fine. Well I am not a doctor's but when you take your high blood pressure medicine daily - it keeps your Blood pressure normal. Basically the doctor has No bed side matters and has no problem accusing you of something that's not founded nor simply just being a good doctor - my vet treats my dogs better than this doctor and her want to be services. Take your money - collect from your insurance- not listen to the patient - now shut up and leave. Go somewhere else - call someone else - do yourself a favor. read more
