Having naturally large boobs is a gift and a curse. It's difficult to find bikini tops and bras in my size unless I travel far to a specialty store. Lucky for me I was able to locate this store on yelp two nights ago and inquired via yelp if they carried my size and The owner Donna replied within 24 hours and informed me that they do indeed carry my size in store but had more available options on their website. I came to visit their store a few minutes ago and was helped by two wonderful employees named Ana and JC who were very helpful, polite and pleasant. I bought this beautiful top that fit perfectly !!!! These are not your average Target bikinis lol. The quality is great and the support is even better. Made finding a swimsuit a really great experience! Usually I dread going in to buy a swimsuit, but this was EASY. This store has a huge variety, so it wasn't hard to find something that actually fit well and I felt good in. The ladies in store knew what they were talking about and weren't trying to "sell" me on something I didn't need, but rather something I could really use. This wasn't my first time in store either. I was walking around Hermosa Beach this morning and happened to stop by BKB. I'm so glad that I did, because all of the swimsuits were 50% off! They have a pretty large selection of mix and match swimwear, with plenty of colors, styles, and sizes. I was able to find an XS in both top and bottom without any trouble. They also have some casual clothing for girls and all of the things were reasonably priced for a small store. Customer service was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely return! read more

5 stars, baby! Went in with a friend and one of my kids (she's little) to undertake the daunting task of finding a suit that I feel okay to be seen in in the light of day. Not everyone has model bodies! Anyway, I digress. Staff was extremely helpful and sweet, greeted us immediately and had zero air of sometimes pompous beach city frou frou shops. They consistently took my selections back to back so I had my hands freed up. Because I was carrying my daughter many times the sales associate offered to help me find sizes and even went off on her own to scout for styles of suits I might like, in fact, I actually went with one she selected and I almost died over how much I loved it. The fitting room they gave me was extra spacious, they gave me like a deluxe room so there was enough space for the both of us to comfortably do what we needed to do in that room. Always came back to check on us and see how everything was going. They have a crazy amount of selections to choose from, great designers, some of the prices were a little wowsers but I expected as much. My friend and I both walked out happy campers! Thank you BKB! Just a tip, when you make a purchase the receipt gives you $1 off some gelato next door and dayummm it's goooooood. It was worth it! read more

I do not buy my bathing suits anywhere else. Prices are a little high, but probably comparable to other swim and surf shops in the area. Lots of cute clothes for women, men, children. Holy Professional sports team t shirts! Drove down to Hermosa Beach this past weekend to escape the LA heat wave that decided to come after a week of what felt like the cusp of fall. My boys and I spent the afternoon eating drinking and shopping. Well more like speed shopping, my boys can get a little restless. They gave me a 10 minute time limit for each store. Upon crossing the threshold that is BKB, the 10 minute rule went out the window. The boys went off in separate directions and started making noises of excitement in reference to the goods. I went to the whole wall donning swim suit after colorful swim suit first, I was less than impressed but I won't deduct points, considering it is the end of the summer and all. After inspecting the wall of bathing suits I made my way over to the shirt portion of the store. My jaw nearly hit the floor when I saw a red tank hanging on the wall. I walked over inspected the garments for my size, voila they only had my size left, fate? I think so. I can not believe that I not only found a rad tank but it was also so cheap. I nabbed an SF 49er's tank just in time for the Sunday game in which the niners destroyed the Jets. Hazzah! I also found a new pair of thin strapped comfortable flip flops, that were super affordable and match everything so well. I made it out of the store for under $50, while I was being rung up I had a lovely chat with the sales associate about the pros and cons of living in the valley as compared to the beach. Super friendly staff and very organized store. I'll be back to nab some more gear in the future. read more

This shop is very willing to help you find a suit that fits you, and they deserve credit for knowing their product. However, after buying my suit, I had a bit of buyers remorse, checked the receipt, and saw that their return policy was that all swimsuits were final sale. This was a fairly expensive purchase for me, so I called to confirm that this policy applied to recent purchases with tags still attached. I have no issue with this policy, but what I DO have an issue with is being treated like an idiot for asking for clarification. I tried to ask very politely, knowing questions like this are probably an annoyance, but the effort to be respectful was absolutely not reciprocated. read more

I've lived in the area for many years and I've visited the store no less than 10 times. It's close to the pier and has a great selection of bathing suits, if you want to pay somewhere around $200 per suit. From jeans and T-shirts to bathing suits and flip-flops, this place is insanely overpriced and I would only use it as a last minute resort. I'm amazed that plain, very basic shirts are on average somewhere between $40-$55. I've also had more friendly customer service in a DMV. The staff is typical seated behind the desk, they egg knowledge new customers about 50% of the time and heaven forbid you have a return that you don't want to exchange, they'd love to make the return last about 10 minutes (I bought a quick T-shirt for a friend who sought in the window and wanted it, I got three blocks away before I realized there was a giant hole in the bottom of it that looked like it had been eaten by moths). There's a cute beach store right across the street that's much more friendly and about half the price, I would always try there first! read more

I am huge on customer service well.... let's be real we are all human, I like whoever is helping me to be down to earth and easy to talk to, not robotic. In the service industry they say you need to be on as if you were acting but that is easily recognized. These ladies here were genuine and so cool. I saw one of them hold 2 small dogs while one of their clients used the restroom. That is how it is done. I scored on some killer mens boots there. My wife got bikinis and the store made their sales. Not only do they have a wide variety of swimsuits for those of us cursed with big "assets", their customer service is amazing. I ordered 2 items. 1 was ordered in plenty of time so just did the free shipping - another great bonus. The item came quickly. Not my experience with other sites. I have waited weeks before. I love the selection, any age group can shop there and I NEVER miss the Labor Day Sale, buy one, get two free! I purchased from BKB, over Labor Day weekend, two pairs of Cobian flip flops. They were offering buy one pair and receive 50% off a second pair of equal or lesser value. I have purchased the Cobian brand in the past and have been very pleased with the quality of the sandal, albeit it is a pricier flip-flop. I wore one pair on occasional weekends over the past three months. I noticed that almost immediately, the sole became separated in the toe area from the main part of the sandal, making it very difficult to walk. Too, I noticed the sandal was not standing up with normal wear, i.e., the thickness of the sandal was quickly deteriorating, making some places of the sandal, such as the big toe or heel areas, very thin. This past weekend, I wore the second pair for the first time. The sole immediately became separated from the main part of the shoe. Since the second pair was exhibiting the exact initial problem as the first pair, I took both pairs of sandals back to BKB. Hannah was very helpful. She explained the store would replace both pairs of flip-flops. Since my size was not in stock on these particular sandals, Hannah said she would contact me when their new shipment arrived. The next day I received a call from Donna who informed me of something completely different. She indicated that since a lot of time had passed since my initial purchase that it was my responsibility to send the sandals back to the manufacturer who would, in turn, send me new pairs of sandals. I am disappointed the store did not rectify this problem. I don't believe my expectation of the store replacing the sandals was out of the realm of reasonableness. I will definitely think twice before I purchase future items from BKB. read more

My dream shop. Cute, quality and reasonably priced bathing suits for the 'larger' ladies. I've had a hard time finding non'grandma type tops for my naturally large 'top'. I add 'natural' because being that, I need a bit more support. The halter tops have a thicker band, to prevent the digging into the back of the neck.
