I was down the street at a tile store for our bathroom remodel and happily stumbled across this Party City. I guess they ALL didn't go under. Who knew!? Of course I had to check it out. They had a plethora of balloons!! Sooo many options. I was looking for the party cups that they always had in every color like the Long Beach location but I didn't see any (if someone can confirm they DO have them let me know!) I won't frequent here since it's a bit of a drive from me but I'm glad to know it still exists if needed.

You can practically Park a few planes with the square footage in here-in spirit took full advantage of that and has more stock and product that I've ever seen in one particular store. Even still, with all the great product, the highlight of this visit was the vast knowledge and smooth as silk demeanor of ismael, who answered 100 questions about the various animatronics, the product in general, but particularly the star traction of this particular location at least none other than Young-hee, from the Netflix series Squid Games. As of the time of this review, she is going for close to a thousand dollars at this location.

It's a big store dedicated to all things Halloween and Christmas, which is a weird mix but whatevers. There's hardly any circulation inside the store and it doesn't help that everything smells musty, which tracks considering how old the costumes are. There's a decent selection of everything you could possibly be looking for, but they're outdated and it feels like someone's trying to offload a bunch of things they've been keeping in storage. Overall if you don't want to shop online and want to look at Halloween things in-person, it might be worth a look. Truth be told though, you'll be able to find everything cheaper and in better quality elsewhere.

Even their website lists this location as Kreepy Halloween... But they updated everything... I get using the same domain name, but there's ways to make it easy to find or navigate... "Kreep Halloween - Sherman Oaks" but use the same everything else. It's a huge emporium of all things costume, cosplay and halloween from awesome wigs and accessories to incredible masks, props, replica weapons and beyond. There's sections and areas for all ages, sizes and genders. Outstanding holiday decor from the moment you cross the threshold and are greeted by their friendly security and/or helpful staff. I wanted to check out the lay of the land, this being the former Joann's (Fabrics, before they went out of business) and often a Spirit Halloween location prior to that. Honestly enjoyed Kreepy Halloween and while it was a little chaotic, over packed with product and the week of all hallow's eve, everyone does their part to assist and keep this store up. A lot of the Joann's signs are still up and/or very visible, which is to be expected with such a short turnaround time. I believe this store physically opened here in August and additionally there is a Kreepy Halloween in Los Feliz as of October, second location. Customer service is personable for sure, however the line was a little confusing with not the best clear signs to guide you or markers to let you know where the line physically starts. They had me go up past the first few registers not in use to just behind a gap where employees enter and exit... I made sure there was room and didn't stand in the way of the opening, but no indicators, marks or instruction for this that I could noticeably see... Other than that, they did have up to four to five registers open and the line moved quickly. Reasonable prices and parking both underground and on the ground level at the Riverside-Woodman plaza on the corner of the streets of the same names - diagonal from Notre Dame High.

A very confusing and disappointing experience overall. While I came to the shop during business…read morehours, the store was closed and a sign said to call for an appointment. I immediately called thinking I may need to return on a different day; however, the owner stated she would be able to meet as she was in the vicinity. When she arrived, we entered the store and I was asked to sit in a chair while she looked around for hair pieces and toppers because I was not looking for a full wig. She spent the majority of the time rummaging around the shop and pulling things out of boxes, and finally found one hair piece that matches my hair color and brought out two others where the color was not even close. She then proceeded to put the one hair piece on me. Even though the color was a good match, it was not what I was looking for. She then went to the opposite side of the room and started to style this one hair piece. Not sure what to expect next, I waited for her, but she continued to style it. I had to go over to where she was sitting and asked if she had other pieces in the same color. She then pulled out another which may work if the circumference of my head were bigger. There was not much talking while all of this was taking place, so I assumed she does not have anything else in stock and asked about the store's policy on ordering hair pieces and how long the process might take. She was not able to give a concrete answer to that question either. So due to limited stock on-hand, and no helpful information to share at that moment, I told her I would come back another time. She immediately told me I owed a $30 "consultation fee" which totally took me off-guard. Nowhere from the beginning with our initial telephone conversation to the time I'd spent in the shop, was this mentioned. Additionally, I would hardly call what took place there a "consultation" as she probably said 4-5 sentences to me in the entire time I was there. I'm not opposed to paying if I did receive helpful information or if she had spent time with me trying on various pieces, but no such service was received nor expertise. I read her other reviews and do not doubt that she can be helpful, empathetic, and is knowledgeable about her craft with other customers. For what I received, I would hardly consider a "consultation" and though she waived the fee when I pointed this out, I was asked to not come back again. Similar to another customer's experience with this establishment, I was appalled and could not leave quickly enough.

I have a small head so I routinely get my wigs resized and thinned to look more natural. But I just learned Young can't handle modern styles. Then I realized throughout our 15-year history her clientele seemed to comprise only middle-aged and older women--including me. She did a beautiful job on my new Ellen Wille Bliss wig, which has small area of spikiness. I get lots of compliments from women AND men. Lots of "That doesn't look like a wig!" But when I picked up the wig, after Young thinned and resized it she said it was "too hard" and she'd never again work on a wig of that type. I'm African American woman in search of new stylist who's good with short-hair wigs.

The performers looked incredibly authentic and they truly brought the characters to life. They were energetic, engaging, and wonderful with the kids from start to finish. They led fun "Hunter" games that kept everyone entertained, did adorable face painting, and made every child feel included. The entire experience was seamless and professional, and it was the highlight of the party. If you're looking for high-quality character entertainment, I can't recommend Character Masters enough. We received so many compliments from our guests, and my daughter was thrilled. We'll definitely be hiring them again for future parties!

The team had fun activities planned, kept the kids engaged, and never hesitated to pose for photos. They were energetic, patient, and wonderful with the children.
