I HIGHLY recommend her. *Real-estate is one of her passions For Tara real estate seemed more like her calling than just a job to her. She is genuinely passionate about what she does, which is a very desirable trait in an agent. Ask her about how she talks contract strategies with her lawyer friends in her spare time; the aura of her enthusiasm will be tough to miss. It's the type of enthusiasm you can tell has been cultivated for a long time. When she fondly reminisced about how she used walk through half constructed homes with her father as a child, I knew she had found the right profession. The drive and energy Tara gains from her passion is a big part of what makes her such a formidable agent. *She can be pretty blunt and has a strong personality. She says what is on her mind and she will be firm (but not unyielding) about her views. If you are overly sensitive this might rub you the wrong way at times. Tara's goal is build a good reputation by investing in her clients. Tara's success rate is very impressive and her two Five Star Professional titles are well deserved. Being in the 95th percentile of one of the hottest real-estate markets in the country means she is doing a lot of things right. *She goes above and beyond Tara always puts in a 110%. She told me it's hard for her not to get emotionally invested in her clients, and REALLY wants to get them a win! If you are willing to go the extra mile, she will be there with you the whole way. This really paid off for me on the home we closed on. The owners were accepting offers as they came, and Tara managed to squeeze a viewing in that night at 10:00 PM. Earlier that day she had put another clients listing on the market, mediate a million dollar reroofing contract at her HOA board meeting and almost ran out of gas on the way to our viewing. She told me she had one of the worst days in a while. Despite being totally drained from all the days' hurdles she pushed through, showing me the house and then stayed until midnight doing market research so we could put in an offer the next day! Needless to say her extra efforts are what made my offer timely and won me the home I wanted. When things are moving fast Tara will make time for you. She was always reasonably quick to respond and would even reply at late hours or on holidays. When I say "reasonably quick" I mean that she did a fantastic job getting back to me while still managing her other clients. Don't expect to get 100% of her attention all the time, this is unrealistic. She will be there for you when it REALLY counts. For example I was forced into a pre-inspection on very short notice, 2 days from Sunday. I was terrified about getting a good inspector scheduled that quickly but Tara handled the situation like a champ. She asked some of her other clients if they could move their Monday inspection to later that week. It worked out well for them so they agreed. The inspector then filled his Monday slot with my appointment. Adaptability in such a volatile market is a crucial skill for a realtor to have! *Technical Expertise (house structure) Tara is very knowledgeable about how houses are constructed, and what good vs bad craftsmanship is. Tara built up her pool of technical knowledge through years of house walk throughs and a lot of hands on home remodeling. Being a very inquisitive electrical engineer Tara allowed me to visit her project home to see what the guts a house look like. Again I was VERY impressed with the knowledge she demonstrated and what projects she and her boyfriend had tackled. Whether it was re-framing walls, rewiring circuits, jack hammering and resealing pipes in concert floors, or jacking up their ENTIRE BASEMENT CEILING to weld in a city approved steel I-Beam support.
