I love it when people ask to see my wedding album. Beth Moser shot our wedding and we get so many compliments on the pictures--which as all brides know feels great! So about a month ago, I get an email that my at the time photographer informing me that he conveniently forgot he was going out of the country. But also in this email he informed me that he also had another photographer lined up for me. Being two weeks before the wedding, I was in full panic mode that this was happening. Looking back a month later, it was the best hiccup that could have happened before the wedding. Beth was the replacement photographer, and I have to say she was everything I was looking for in a photographer and more. She knew how to keep me calm and from our pre-wedding coffee outing was able to relate to myself and my husband. Totally pulled out our personalities in all the photos and even put her spin on things. Being somewhat in the business, I know there are a lot of people out there that think they can just pick up a camera and call themselves a "photographer." This is not the case with Beth. I would recommend her to anybody and hopefully if my husband and I are blessed with children soon, she will be the person I contact for baby photos. She is worth the money! I used to work at Right Start many moons ago and Beth would do photo shoots of our customers. She always had her sweet and soft demeanor combined with fun and artsy. Her way with kids always distracted me from my work as I was enamored by her. I remember her asking a little kid if he saw the monkey in the camera or the pirate etc... what did he look like... hes smiling at you can you show him your smile. Everytime a family came back to see their photos she would play a slideshow with the best song ever and I would basically cry for each one. After over a decade working as a low-brow musician in Chicago, I moved to L.A. and *poof!* was suddenly offered a job as a voice actor, almost overnight. Not knowing anything about acting, really, the company I was interviewing with mentioned something about "headshots." "Duhh," I thought, "Headshots? Don't those get you extra points when playing 'Hitman?'" Guess L.A. is a town where you have to dress for radio. Thankfully I found Beth through a desperate local Google search, and she couldn't have been more professional, on top of her game, and personable -- which went a long way with me as I was unused to having to "vogue" as a human Ken doll in front of a camera. Upon sending her photos, I got the job immediately. While I'd like to think that had something to do with my extensive "acting experience," I'm more inclined to think that Beth really knows what she's doing.
