Worst car wash ever. i spent $35 on a car wash stating they'd clean the interior and exterior, including all windows and vacuuming. My car was never vacuumed and they didn't even open my back doors to clean my back windows or vacuum the back. that is ridiculous. I called back and the receptionist -with an attitude said i had to come back by 5pm otherwise they can't do anything. i switched my plans to make it back just by 5, and they were closed???? Well I wish I would've read the reviews beforehand. I paid $21 plus tax and a $5 tip (way too generous) for the exterior and interior and they did a HORRIBLE job. My cat could have done a better job and I don't even have a cat! The windshield was still dirty and the inside, they didn't bother to clean the cup holders out or clean the seats off. This is a pretty decent car wash. I work near here, and they are always offering Groupon deals, so I tend to take advantage of that. The exterior is always very clean, and the staff is nice and friendly. I recently had them wax my car and it came out nicely, especially considering how fast they did it in. My "complaint" is this: the car wash packages are quirky. The only package that includes an interior Armor All is the highest one ($55 retail). This is the most expensive of five packages. None of the other packages involve wiping the dust off the dashboard. Sure they will wash your mats and windows, but they don't touch the cup holders, steering wheel, or any of the other places that are seemingly the most dirty. The bad customer experience piece is that I feel like I am getting back inside a dirty car. Most other locations include some sort of interior wipe-down at the $30 price point, so it is strange (any annoying) that they have left this out unless you fork out the big bucks. read more

Paid $20 for a "Royal" car wash and ended up cleaning the car myself when I got home. Cup holders were still sticky, wheels were dirty and they didn't even vacuum the entire carpet. I went there for a quick wash. I paid approximately $27 for the wash then paid and extra $2.50 for SUV and another $0.50 for height surcharge. When they were finished with my car it looked like it i had paid for a $10 wash. Outside the car was cleaned poorly at best and the inside was about the same. For what i paid my car should have come out spotless. The car wash that i normally go to charges $21.50 after taxes and it comes out looking like i paid for it to be detailed. I have been coming here for years, my under carriage needed to be washed twice, mechanic said bugs made nests underneath. I explained this to the attendants. The first time I went to through was told to pay for the full service and undercarriage, the second time just the undercarriage. When I got to the country I got charged twice. Woman behind the counter didn't want to hear it, I spoke to her, she even said it only to charge the second woman undercarriage. She would not adjust the price. Exterior wash for $12.95, car came out with soap on the back half, was wiped down with towels. Got home and the whole of the white car was full of dirt streaks. Had the same problem a while back as another yelper where you wait on line forever then they tell you the car wash isn't working, spray your car down with water and say here you go. HORRIBLE. Only went here because i was in desperate need of one and thought id give it a try. So upset i even went here. The prices are crazy expensive. 22 bucks for an exterior wash and some vacuuming. You think for the expensive prices they would do a good job..wrong! I was here for a total of 5 minutes!! I dont know what type of machines they use for the soap but it is HORRIBLE. how does a car go through a wash and come out still with dirt all over?? I noticed the car wash is under new ownership. I decided to give it another try. What a difference. More employees doing a much better job cleaning the car. The previous owners were never around and the employees didn't care about their job. I hope new ownership sticks around to ensure that the employees do their job correctly. Having six people attend via car is the best way to make sure it comes out perfectly clean. New to the area so trying a bunch of different places. This one is near me so I wanted to give it a shot. The convenience of location isn't enough to justify the underwhelming wash they provided. Thankfully, it was only $8 because of the night special, but still, overall, it sucked. The crew left all sorts of suds everywhere: back bumper, front windshield, roof, handles, front grill. Some places have a blower at the end to blow away all the excess water in crevices. Not sure if this place has it or not or if they simply forgot it, but pools of water were everywhere. The hand "drying" at the end wasn't so much drying as it was re-wetting. Not enough towels? I dunno, but it didn't dry and left steaks everywhere. Driving away resulted in the water they didn't blow/towel dry going all over the doors, windshield and roof. Definitely not worth the $8 and a return trip. read more

Quite possibly the worst car wash I had to pay 34 dollars for. I have gone to cheaper places and have gotten a better job done than this place. I had to come back to my house and wipe down multiple panels on my truck and my rims were still filthy. I will not be coming back here. They rush you out and many panels were still wet. Terrible!!!! Came tonight and the machine kept shutting off in the middle of the wash! They put my car through twice and then took it out after it shut off again and used the air compressor to "blow" the soap off! We called the number and the guy told us they will put the car thru again and give us a free wash and he will call the lady at the register who was the most unfriendly person to be dealing with customers! They couldn't be bothered! We skipped the 3rd wash and took our "free wash" coupon which we will never use and proceeded to our car to find they didn't even wipe the dash/consoles! The cup holders were never touched! I paid for the Ritz wash which came to $31! I basically paid $31 for them to vacuum my car, leave soap on it and be treated like crap! Never ever again!!! I have to agree with most even though the place remodeled, thinking that they would have got better, sadly they did not. Car still looks grimy, stains on the windows, and rims black. To make things worse, and I know its there location, it feels like your car is in the middle of Hempstead tpke! I have always wanted to try this place out since they seem to have a lot of customers. i received a coupon for this car wash in the mail and thought it was the perfect time so i decided to head on over. i brought my wife's suv (i only frequent hand wash places with my car) and received a sub par wash. i picked the RITZ option which was $27 dollars minus the 25% coupon (total about $22). the place was very busy. i know this is not a hand wash place but those rotating brushes will leave scratches on your paint eventually especially if you have a dark colored car so I wouldn't boast about those monthly passes like some others here. the only highlight of this place was that they had squirt guns like in the water parks that let you squirt extra soaps on your passing car. now i think $27 dollars is steep for a conveyor brush wash. heres when things get bad to worse: when it was time to dry the car, the workers were clearly in a rush since there was not enough space in the front and cars were coming out of the tunnel faster than they were getting them out. the car practically air dried from the missed spots and i was also left dark streaks on the white paint.. whatever i guess they were busy. i was very surprised that after 2 minutes they were telling me to get the car out of the way already. what they don't do for the interior was even worse. when walking back to the car, i immediately noticed that they didn't even TOUCH my floor mats or wiped the dash down. now we just got back from ocean city, md. so there was still sand all over the floor! i dont expect them to get ALL the sand out but for a $27 wash you can wish they made some effort to reduce it. maybe their vacuums lost suction but it seriously looked like my interior was totally ignored! when i got home i had to do vacuum, clean the mats, and wipe the streaks myself and wondered what i really had paid for and maybe it was because i used a coupon. or maybe they had an off crew that day i don't know. For those who care about their car and looking for a place to pamper her, head about a mile and a half west to East Coast Hand Wash. for the same price i paid even without the coupon, you can get a hand wash and you will notice they consistently put effort in what they do (for $27 they would at least clean your mats!). for those who don't care so much, there are plenty of express washes with brushes that are half the price. or wait for a rainy day. read more

I got the Ritz and why do I feel like I paid for the Ritz but got the Royal?!? And to top it off they left my dashboard with dust on it and when I asked if they can clean the dust off they give me this look. Hands down the worst car wash in town! If I could give no stars I would. Went today for first time, since Jiffy Lube gave me free wash, otherwise I never would've taken my car there. I upgraded to ritz wash and paid the difference which should've gotten me the works. Unfortunately not only was my car still dirty afterwards they barely applied the tire shine on all the wheels! When I confronted the guy he told me it's done by the machine he couldn't help me so a $30 wash leaves you with a dirty car and no tire shine. For my birthday this year, I told my husband I'd really like to get my car detailed so he bought me a gift card for Bethpage Car Wash. I'm glad he bought it instead of me getting one myself because if I had read all of the negative reviews about this place I would never have gone here. And that would have been a shame because they did an absolutely phenomenal job. I had a very different experience than many of the others I am reading. The service I received was excellent. I dropped off my Prius this morning, and to say the car was filthy inside is the understatement of the year. I gave my gift card and car key to a nice girl, and I let her know I'd be by after work. A few hours later I received a call to let me know that the car was ready any time I wanted to come and get it. I double checked that they had cleaned the seats, since there were a lot of coffee stains and I was worried they wouldn't have gotten them out. The lady was very friendly and assured me that they cleaned my seats. When I picked up my car, the cashier greeted me with a big smile and friendly demeanor. I cannot imagine this is the cashier others are referring to, this lady was lovely. I peeked in the car and was in shock at how clean it was just at first glance. I threw a $20 in the tip box for the guys, and then got in what seemed like a brand new car. The seats looked like they had been replaced, they were so clean. Everything was spotless. It smelled so clean and fresh. When I got home my husband took a look and was very impressed as well. I'm so happy with how great my car looks. And to note, we bring our cars here often for exterior washes and I feel they always do a great job. read more

I visited the Bethpage Car Wash for the first time last week and had the Ritz wash done. While the normal price of approximately $27 was kind of steep, I used a $12 Groupon. Approaching from the east required a u-turn on Hempstead Turnpike in order to enter the car wash. The first thing that impressed me was that while on line, someone came to vacuum out my trunk. I liked the timing of this as I was able to move move stuff around so he could do a thorough job. I was still 2 cars or so away from the entrance so I didn't feel like I was holding up the line. The inside was then cleaned well with air pressure and vacuums. Months of crumbs and dirt vanished. The wash itself was your typical automatic car wash. My dirty car came out clean as expected. There were a few small spots missed but nothing significant in my opinion. A pet peeve of mine in car washes is when the windows and mirrors (both inside and outside) are not cleaned well. Bethpage Car Wash did a good job with both. The only issue I have is that after getting home I noticed that my tires either were not treated or were treated so lightly that it wasn't noticeable. Overall a good car wash although I would likely only go back with some type of discount. read more

Really like this car wash. The construction is complete and it is stunning looking from the outside. Even better, they have all new state of the art equipment on the inside, always leaving my car clean. Because of this new washing system I feel very good about bringing my car here and not getting scratches. Came here for a wash yesterday. Stupid water fall thing out back. I stepped out of my car to throw some stuff in the trunk and now my sneakers were soaked through. Full service was $29.95 Rims honestly never came out better, but for one, they left the passenger floor mat folded up. The worst thing happened that could ever happen at any car wash. Here we go... When I pulled in the drivers window was half way down. They rolled it up but not all the way. It was left open about half an inch was was clearly visible and obvious. So, when they car came out the other side, the guy opens the door, shakes his head, then gets an air hose and proceeds to blow the water and soap suds off the seat, center console, door panel, dashboard and back seat. I didnt get any apology or anything. Just a soaked interior. Later on about an hour later, I realized the stupid automatic brushes that apply the armor all on the tires at the end of the car wash were apparently dry because there was absolutely no shine on the tires. I will never never go back to this place again. Also when I got into the car this morning the battery was dead. Heres why...the gallons of water that went inside the car shorted the power lock switch and when I got in the car in the morning they were still trying to repeatedly unlock the car...all night long. I am sure I will now need door lock activators sooner than normal. read more

This was probably the worst $35 car wash I have ever received. The attendants at the end did not even acknowledge you when they were done, instead they just walked away. The team did not do a great job drying my plastic mats, which were then slippery when I got into the car. The rims are still dirty, and they only cleaned the driver side window. Every other window is still dirty. Great job guys, I'll never return again. Oh, and they charge an extra 50 cents on the receipt and no one could tell me why (I drive a small two door car). read more

Terrible. Chose the "Deluxe" for $22. Sounds good on paper but it's really just a quick rinse, an even quicker dry, no glass cleaning and a dry wipe down of the dash. After the car fully dries there is still dirt and white spots everywhere, windows and side view mirrors are dirty and cup holders /center console and seats were untouched. They get 2 stars for neat appearance. I could have gotten a nice bucket, soap and sponge with that money and done a better job myself (if I weren't so lazy). read more
