At first, I assumed it was just carelessness and planned to fix them myself later. However, when I went to put them back in place, I discovered that the mats were damaged. The areas where they fit into the seat grooves were completely ripped, as if they had been forcefully pulled out without any regard for the vehicle or the mats. These mats were not damaged before my visit. I understand that mistakes can happen, but customers trust a car wash to take care of their vehicles. Damaging property and then placing it back in the car without mentioning it is unacceptable. I paid for a service expecting my vehicle to be cleaned, not returned with damaged accessories. I had driven by Blues several times & finally one day I stopped there to get some advice. It's a small place but Rob, Bryan & Jefferson are all very nice guys. I set up an appt & Bryan was able to give me a lift home. I planned on leaving my car there for most of the day. At first I was not going to do my interior bc I thought it looked just fine. I take my car to the car wash every couple of weeks & they always vacuum & wipe down inside. However, quite awhile ago, a bottle of Champagne had exploded while packed in the back compartment of my car. I thoroughly cleaned it up or so I thought! Bryan showed me a picture of the back of my second seats. Needless to say, they did do a magnificent job on the interior too! But one day I was passing by Hicksville and saw this handwashing location. I decided to give it a try. Now I've been to some very reputable handwash places. Blues is definitely one of them. He takes his time and he cares. So I decided to get my car ceramic coated. I did go ask couple of places but none of them gave me the reassurance I was looking for. Keep in mind you don't want to mess this up since it is a semi permanent product. He took care of my car, all the swirls, took his time. He even did my calipers, exhaust tips, wheels. This is a brushless car wash, so I did not need to worry about antenna damage. My antenna was damaged several years ago at a brush car wash, and that was the last time I ever went to one. I was the only customer around 3 pm on 11/4/25, and I was out of there about 3:07. I was impressed with the results because the exterior of my car looks clean and nice.

After going through the wash, I noticed multiple scratches on my vehicle. I reached out simply to ask whether anything had changed with the brushes inside the car wash because I had never experienced anything like this before. I wasn't looking for compensation. I was asking a question and hoping they would take my concern seriously. Instead, they immediately blamed me. They reviewed their security footage and claimed I caused the scratches by lifting the vacuum hose over my Jeep while vacuuming. I know that's not what happened. I noticed the scratches before I vacuumed and finished cleaning the car because I wanted to see if they would wipe off. Their explanation also doesn't add up. The scratches are concentrated along the passenger side of my hood and windshield frame. If the vacuum hose had actually caused them, the damage would be in completely different areas. I've also used these vacuums many times before without ever leaving a single scratch on my vehicle. What disappointed me the most wasn't that they disagreed with me. It was how quickly they dismissed my concern and blamed the customer instead of taking the time to genuinely investigate what happened. Customer service is about listening and treating customers with respect, even when there is a disagreement. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience at the Valley Stream location. Because of the way this was handled, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this location to others. I hope management takes a more customer-focused approach in the future because this experience left a really bad impression.

I've seen the workers sitting in the back for up to half an hour waiting for the boss to wake up and open the business AFTER business hours have started. In terms of value, I wouldn't say I'm getting the most out of my monthly membership because they're closed at inconsistent and random hours and half the time I drive by for a wash I can't really get one. The quality of the wash is great, however, consistency and reliability are equally important for a business.

It's not convenient, especially in the winter months when you want to get your car washed more frequently. The first time they were closed, I mentioned it to the owner, and he said it was because the machines broke down. At least leave a sign at the entrance that you're closed due to mechanical issues.
