T'was a work perk that landed us the cabana. Loss of a star just because attempting to coordinate, unknown details and a little difference between what was offered versus what we were told. Anyway.... that stated, 4 solid stars for going above and beyond to make-up for the shortcomings. Now, the polo park has matches right through to September. Reasonable & and convenient parking within a stones throw from the field. Big shout out to Patty & Bobby who went above and beyond. Truly. For those who've never seen a match.... they offer general admission in the bleachers that afford a great vantage point. An announcer who tied it all in so nicely with her knowledge- Debbie I believe? Fun afternoon, gorgeous weather and good company. What more could a gal ask f

A fun place to spend a Sunday afternoon. Spectating a polo match is a fun way of spending time with your partner especially if you have no idea how this game works. As the match progress, I keep reading thru Google(God bless the smart phone!) important information about this game. I learned so many things before the match ended and I am ready to watch another match next time. Lol! There are few tickets and parking options for all kind of spectators of this game. You could check their website to enhance your knowledge. As beginners, we opted to be on the grandstand. Seats are comfortable and has a good view of the field ( every seats has good view anyways). There were few moments that the riders played close enough to our location. It is an affordable admission fee of $5 per person. We were given an option to be sitting on the grandstand or if we have chairs, on the lawn next to rented tents. A separate parking fee of $10 is being charged - this is separate from the entrance fee($8) to get in the Bethpage State Park( separate review). You could park straight to the picnic area of Bethpage State Park to save a vehicle fee if you want to. From the parking lot to the polo field is not a bad walk , about 2-4 minutes going hilly-like up, favorable only if you have less stuff to carry with you. The match lasted for about 2-2.5 hours including the awarding ceremony. We were lucky that it was beautiful (cloudy) when we had this experience. The field is big and has a manicured lawn. You are allowed to walk to the horses stables/vehicles before the game starts. Clean restrooms are open for public use. Refreshments and souvenirs are being sell. An announcer was helpful in understanding the status of the game (though i prefer the speaker volume be a little up). It was a wonderful and fun experience. Highly recommended.

Polo game at this amazing polo field. Great facilities. Bring a blanket and your picnic basket and enjoy a polo game.

This is a great polo field inside a beautiful state park. You need to pay a $8 parking fee to get in the park, then you enter to the polo field. There is polo games every Sunday's being the last one the first week of October. Impeccable grounds. Bring your picnic basket, a blanket to have something to eat while watching the game. You can bring your dog always keep them in a leash for safety. Great family atmosphere. There are bathroom facilities available. Highly recommended.

I threw my birthday party at the VIP tents. It was such a fun day and we are all still talking about it! It was easy to plan, nicely executed, and a very Instagram worthy event. Highly recommend it.

I made the plunge and joined Equinox a few weeks ago. After coming here for a few Yelp Events, and…read morebeing that it's close to home, it made my decision an easy one. Although pricey, it's worth it! Let's start off with the amazing customer service I've received. I had the pleasure of meeting Brett. He is a Membership Advisor. He messaged me to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. My very first day as a member he showed me around the the gym from top to bottom, corner to corner. He even offered to take a class with me if I didn't want to take one alone. He is super friendly and funny. He continues to say hello to me BY NAME every time he sees me at the gym. That's amazing that he remembers my name considering how many people he sees and interacts with at the gym every day. Now Christopher (I believe that's his name) works at the shop at the gym where there's clothes, gym bags, and other accessories. When you become a member you get 20% off your first purchase at the shop. So...I took advantage of that! Christopher was patient with me as I looked around the shop. So many choices! Some of their brands run big...so I was happy that I was able to buy a smaller size than I normally would. Christoper helped me pick out some things and even showed me a super comfy sweatshirt. It's a men's sweatshirt...but it's the most comfortable sweatshirt I've ever worn. Comfy and warm! Brian, the manger is also super nice! I had a long conversation with him on my first day at the gym. It was so nice that he took the time out of his day to speak with me. He also greets me by name every time he sees me at the gym. As a new member you get a complimentary Pilates session. I took mine with Jacqueline. The Pilates session is in the studio and it's just you and the trainer. Jacqueline was very patient with me as I've never done Pilates before. She showed me how to use the machines. She also taught me that Pilates isn't just body movements...but it's about your mind as well. Which is very true. We even laughed! Who laughs when working out? That's what I thought. You also get a complimentary personal training session as a new member. I had the pleasure of meeting Tracy. She is wonderful! She understood me and my goals. She was patient and answered my questions. We also laughed a little. Again, who laughs when on an 10% incline and 3.5 speed on a treadmill?? That's what I thought! I felt so welcomed as a new member! Besides the "Welcome" email and "Welcome Packet" I received, I received a hand written welcome card in the mail, and another welcome card in the mail. I can truly tell the Equinox cares about their members. On to the gym... SO many machines for cardio and strength training! I've never had to wait for a machine. One of the things I like about the machines is that they have internet. I've enjoyed watching YouTube videos to get me through my workouts. You can even access Facebook, Google...and a ton of other things. You can sync LoseIt and other apps if you use apps to calorie count or to keep track of your food intake. There's also WiFi at the gym...so you can bring your iPad or other device and watch Netflix as you work out! I am guilty of this! :o) If you aren't sure how to use a strength training machine, don't be scared. During my tour of the gym, Brett mentioned there is always staff on the floor that will show you how to use them! Don't be shy...ask them! Locker rooms... I can't speak for the men's locker room, but the woman's locker room as everything you can think of. Hair dryers, straighteners, razors, tampons, mouth wash, hair gel, shaving cream, shower caps...etc. There's also a filtered water filling station and a digital scale. Everything you can ask for! Now the showers are wonderful. Kiehl's shower products are like a dream. They smell so yummy, and have me feeling refreshed. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and face wash. The showers are nice and hot! AND... eucalyptus towels!!! Smell so nice, especially after a sweaty workout! What are you waiting for?? GO workout at Equinox!

A health club membership (Especially those on the higher end!! is for those of us who want to be healthier, improve our lifestyle, endurance, and how we feel. Its a pandemic and the company should be welcoming any and all business here versus complacency. I understand everyone's on a cell phone. No line for the equipment, plenty of dumbbells available for this dumbbell at all times, proactive maintenance staff who keep the showers, sauna, toilets and the workout floor clean and stocked; nice layout with a quiet room with loads of mats to do stretching, yoga poses( 2 seconds for me) and ab work, a nice tricep pull-down area and a basketball court. No racquetball but Farmingdale is just a few minutes east. Love that the juice bar has added protein pre made meals in their freezer with a microwave for immediate consumption. The sauna is always hot. I get to this location maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I have to mention the wonderful Gabriel who opened the gym in the snowstorm at 7 am sharp. He was happy and welcoming as the rush came in. Thank you LAF for being open today. Now it's foodie fun time as the NFL Championship games are just a few hours away.

Every time I see Alan, he greets members with a warm smile and takes the time to ask how they're doing. That level of personal attention is rare and makes everyone feel welcome. He's also one of the few managers I've noticed who politely reminds members to re-rack their weights as a courtesy to others, helping keep the gym organized and safe. Alan takes pride in maintaining the equipment and is always visible on the gym floor, making sure everything is running smoothly while checking in with members. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellent customer service truly set him apart. L.A. Fitness is fortunate to have Alan on its team, and I wish more managers demonstrated the same level of professionalism and dedication. He is a tremendous asset to the Levittown location.
