Very expensive for a panaderia. 2 mini concha's, 1 large concha, 2 pound cake and 3 tiny tortas for $20. Meaning if each bread was $1 each, the tortas were $5 each. They were super small bolillos with not much inside. The workers there are super super nice though. And it is completely cash only!!!! It was a cold night and I was looking for some conchas. It was 7:30 pm, and I tried other bakery, but no more conchas there. I Yelp and found this spot. Before coming, I called, and the person who answer the phone was very attentive saying some conchas was about to be ready from oven. When I came it was pretty busy, and some small conchitas was coming out from oven! Warm and delicious. It was only one lady attending with a big smile (even the place was full) and some Good music playing! I got some sweet bread and conchitas. Flavor is good! Only cash!! read more

I have been coming to this Panadería for not too long. They're bread is always fresh. I like the fact that there is always bread coming out the oven. They're always in stock with Mini Conchita's. Not like other Bakeries that run out and don't make anymore until a certain time. I was waiting for the Rosca de Reyes yesterday. I had placed my order 1 week before. I like how they offer to have them filled with Jelly. Of course they charge extra. I bought a large and a medium Rosca. I picked them up and everything. When it was time to cut it, only very little of Guayaba filling with cream cheese was spread around the bread. That's a big downer. Hopefully they can improve in this issue. That's why I didn't give them the 5 stars. read more

I love their bread, I've been buying pan dulce here for a while and it's always fresh/delicious. Due to Covid, they only let, I believe 3 people in the bakery and they assist you with your bread selection. Service is a hit or miss, I've encountered both, good and crappy service. Also, be prepared to wait in line and place is cash only. read more

My mother in law went in at 9am last Friday morning to buy 2 gelatinas in an effort to support small local businesses in her area. She went from Lynwood to South Gate and immediately put it in a fridge used to keep restaurant beverages cold. Upon return to the fridge, the gelatinas were spoiled - in a fridge full of milk that did not go bad. When she took it back to see if she could get a refund, the cashier said no but an exchange would be possible. The manager was named Beto, and when he came out, he was very rude in his interaction. Instead of working with her, Beto denied her refund and exchange, even taking it a step further by continuously blaming her for not properly storing the gelatinas. He left her with this: "sorry these are hard times so we can't be refunding people." We all are going through hard times, yet there are still ways to be professional and be good people. For the way he treated her, I would stay far away from a business who only seems to care about making money rather than the customer who is supporting them. read more

Good conchas!! Not too buttery. Good texture and taste. Just sweet enough. The bolillo is okay. I wish it was a little saltier.

This bakery makes exceptional conchas. I've never tasted such light and airy pieces of heaven and with them being 4 for $1 (for the mini conchas which are really not that small), you can't really beat it. They're opened early (5 or 6am) and close late (9pm). They take last minute orders as well; I called them 3 hours before a funeral to see if they'd be able to accommodate an order of 200 mini conchas and they quickly took my order and had them ready and boxed by the time I showed up. Outstanding taste, convenient, fresh and cheap! Oh the only minor con is that they're cash only.... which is really no surprise if you're used to going to similar establishments. I stopped by here because they were out of conchas at a nearby bakery. Thankfully they were fully stocked with conchas and other pan dulce. The lady at the counter was very friendly.
