I took my car to be serviced at the Toyota dealership, and they told me that I had a nail in my tire and to get it fixed right away. I searched on yelp and found a tire place in the SGV that I wanted to go to, but they were busy when I tried calling several times (I couldn't get through). So we happened to be in the area, and went to Beto's Tires, where I had been before. They charged me $20 to remove the nail and patch the tire. I don't know what kind of job the guy did, but the only thing I can say is that service was quick. I felt bummed out because I wasn't able to go to the tire shop that I had selected. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion at Beto's, and it turns out the issue wasn't the tire at all, but a crack in the rim! They were fast and efficient. As soon as I drove up their driveway. I told them which tire I wanted replaced. They immediately started taking off the tire and went looking for a used tire, which I requested. I said, "But you haven't given me a price." He responded by saying, "Don't worry, I will give you a good price." Within 15 min, I drove off with an identical tire that was taken off, which was an OEM Michelin tire that looked new. Amazing. Ran over a self tap screw by the sidewall of my tire. No one but my alignment guy wanted to help--alignment guy plugged it. Lasted for a few months and my tire had a slow leak again. Went here and Beto helped right away. He analyzed and dipped my wheel into the water to see where the leak is coming from. Opened up the tire and found a plug--asked if I did it myself lol. I then witnessed this man perform surgery on my tire. Carefully shaved the area with a dremel, added mesh, put the patch, sealed it with liquid patch, then used a heat gun to dry it out. I'm pretty sure this will last the life of the tire. Would definitely come back! Remember to bring cash. He let me leave to get cash and come back to pay. read more

Had a flat on the 4th when everyone else was closed. We arrived at Beto's and they were open! We had just went to Just Tires where they said our tire was "un-patchable" and wanted us to buy 4 new tires! They were also going to charge $45 for a repair. Beto charged us $20, we were in and out in under 20 minutes, and he was kind and honest. Highly recommend supporting this local community owned business. My friends and I had a great dinner out in Temple City and we're all laughing and figuring out where we want to go for dessert when we heard a pop exiting the plaza. "Did we run over a water bottle? What was that sound" Then we heard a thunk thunk and realized one of the tires blew out! Pulling into the nearest gas station and had our spare changed in. However since we still had a long way to trek back to Riverside the AAA rep recommended we not go over 50 miles driving on the spare or go faster than 40 mph. We decided it would best if we found a local tire shop and get a replacement ASAP. Unfortunately when we changed into our spare it was around 7:30 pm and most places were closed already. Through yelp, I found Beto's Tires that was a few miles away. We called and they said they would still be open and be willing to help us change into a replacement tire! We took the local streets and got to Beto's Tires. The man there was friendly and got to work right away. He helped us pop out the replacement, take out our old deflated tire and found a replacement for us. I would say it took less than 20 minutes for the whole thing! This place is cash only! ( or at least the time we went ~8:30 pm ) We thought we didn't have enough money and they were okay with us going out to the ATM at 7/11 around the corner and coming back to pay. We ended up finding the right amount. We also gave a tip because they were amazing, fast, and super helpful! Some even told me they couldn't do Tesla tire cuz it's special due to memory foam inside. It sure did sound confusing and made it like it' has to be Tesla company.
