Don't ever judge a book by its cover. Look more at how the staff are highly capable, responsive and willing to communicate. Well run operation. Super busy shop and the location next to recycling center may turn you off. But you will spend much less here for very good quality work. Thank you for an amazing deal on my alignment for my BMW at a price less than 1/3 of what other shop or the dealership quoted. They have a computer based Hunter alignment machine. Car handles amazingly afterwards.. much appreciated. Would def come back.

I got into my car to get gas after a long day of apartment tours, and my tire was flat. Not a small nail flat, not "oh yeah, someone can totally patch it" flat. Just flat as could be. I panic-searched for tire shops near me, dreading the idea of having to tow my car anywhere. LA Tires was the first option to pop up. As soon as I explained my problem, the gentleman on the phone immediately assured me that they offer mobile services and could get someone out to help. I gave him my tire information and he quickly found a tire to do a replacement and THANK GOODNESS it was discounted to $80. I gave him my address, grabbed a Dr. Pepper from the store of the parking lot I was in (to calm my nerves) and someone pulled up next to me to replace the tire before I even finished my drink! In all, $200 to have someone come out and install a new tire is a steal. Everyone I interacted with was so nice, and I appreciate the gentleman who came out to me for explaining what was wrong with the tire. Waiting and paying for a tow + paying for a new tire + still needing gas afterwards would've been my 13th reason. I'm very grateful to LA Tires for getting me out of that bind!

ANOTHER great experience at LA Tires! It's one of those places you HOPE you'll never need, but when you do, you're SO glad it's there! Wife's car had a HUGE screw stuck in the tire causing a slow leak which was becoming a fast one! Went to LA Tires when they opened at 7:30am, and they took care of me right away! $25 for a patched up tire and a happy wife! Pretty good deal, if you ask me! read more

Called for their mobile service to repair my flat tire. The mechanic came within 10 mins which was super quick and it also helps that I live a 9 min walk away. I was up and ready to go less than 30 mins. I paid $30 for their mobile service and $20 to repair my tire. It was 95 degrees that day so I was worth it just to pay and have someone come and fix it with all the tools needed especially with the week I've had. I'd say it was top tier service. read more

Thank god for this tire shop. Had 2 screws in my tire causing a slow leak and was able to get it fixed right away. They were so fast I was able to visit on my lunch break with time to spare! Honest people and good work. $20 to repair my tire and I love that they don't try to up charge like discount tires or those places. Amazing service thank you!!! read more

I got a flat tire notification as I was driving to an event. I quickly pulled over to find a tire shop and this one had great reviews. The reviews are true! I came in and ended up not having a flat, but a tire sensor issue on my old bmw. They fixed it for $20.00 and got me out of there within half an hour. Honesty matters now days, second time I have been there, will definitely come back. Took car that had a small screw and air pressure light on, technician checked all tires pressure, and let me know screw did not go through. They could have lied but did not. Total cost, $5.00 read more

Maybe I just came at a bad time. I don't know. I arrived at 4:40pm on a Saturday and they close at 6pm. There were 8 men standing around and no one offered to help me. I asked 3 times for help, but was completely ignored. I finally just left and went some place else. I just needed a new tire. Would definitely not return to this place again. read more

This location has good hours of operation even open Sundays. What I didn't like is that the alignment performed didn't leave the steering straight. I actually ended up going somewhere else to have it properly aligned. Disappointed that I had to pay twice to have something that should have been done right the 1st time around. read more

Even though they're busy, they seem to do a great job! I think maybe the staff aren't very comfortable with English, so they don't approach customers first--but if you go up and talk to them, they handle everything quickly and efficiently, even when it's crowded. They replaced my tire fast, and it's been working perfectly without any issues. I didn't go in for a major problem, but it turned out to be a really good experience. LA Tires is the best!! My partner and I got a flat tire on our rental car and had a plane to catch later that day. I called LA tires (along with many other services) and they were the only ones who could drive to us and replace our tire. Keep in mind, this was in the blazing 80 something heat of downtown LA. They single handedly saved our day! They took 5-10 minutes to change out the flat and replace it with a new one, super fast service! They were also very reasonable on pricing as well. I ended up paying $10 which I didn't feel was fair but; at least they could pay off their $3 part they replaced. Next day after the lecture and "repair" ITS LEAKING AGAIN! haaaahahah now I have to go to the dealer and figure out what they broke on my car. I'm glad I didn't pay the $48 the second time around considering I came in with a car that was perfectly fine and left with a leaking car . They said they could and so I eventually brought it down. They did the alignment, and they did tell me "they did the best they could" and sent me on my way. The car just wasn't right. After some investigating on my part, I found that the shock tower was cracked and was messing with the upper control arm, making it difficult/impossible to align correctly. Was this their fault? Absolutely not. The car was in a wreck in the 80s (which I also shared with them) so I knew there were risks. However, I do feel that they saw this (given that the car was on the lift and in their face) and said nothing. Is it their responsibility to tell me? Also no.. but the fact that they charged me for the alignment, just said "we did our best" and sent me on my way seems a bit shady to me. A simple, "hey, we saw this crack and it's gonna give you issues in the near future" wouldn't have only been appreciated, but I also feel like it would've been the right thing to do.

I registered for service and had to wait 15 minutes to get someone to look at the car. The nice gentleman that came to us is named Antonio. Looked at all the tires and assessed the leaking tire. It was a screw in between the 2nd and 3rd tread so it really was only a patch job. But because our tires looked old, there was a concern that it may not be "repairable" and might necessitate a replacement so I was told to choose a tire in case it came to that. I told him I'm sure it's just a patch job but I chose one cause I didn't have a choice. Because of liability, if the tire was deemed unsafe they will not put it back on and the replacement becomes a must. I also asked to have air put in our spare because the TPMS was lit on the dash prior to the leaking tire. He told us it would about 2 hours before they could get to work on our car but it wouldn't take long once they got to it. My son was getting Hangry so I had to find somewhere he could get something to eat. After a while I got worried cause I haven't received a call and it was approaching 2 hours already so we headed back. When I got to the car I was surprised to see that a new tire was installed on the car without consulting with me. I went back in line at the counter and Antonio explained that something happened during the removal of the tire and it got damaged. Because it was their fault, they replaced the tire at no cost to me. I thought I still had some service charges for looking at our spare but he said they took care of that as well at no cost to me. Talk about taking accountability on behalf of the customer. Antonio was very cordial and professional about the whole thing. I really appreciate the service quality I received that when the time comes to replace 4 tires, we will get it from Antonio. Thank you so much!

It's one of the best decisions I have made this year. Will was able to come out with a day or so and run a diagnostics check, quickly locating the issue and showing me the results. He explained to me what the issue was, discussed options, gave me a full quote and a price - highly competitive. With me agreeing to what needed to be done, he ordered the part (Saturday) and came back the next day (Sunday) to install it. Incredibly helpful and so polite, he showed me the new part, walked me through what he was going to do and afterward even showed me the part he removed and explained the wear and why it was actually perfect timing. Within hours I was up and running again, good as new. I have NEVER had service like this from a dealership in all my years of being a car owner and driver (and that's several decades). Will also flagged other things that I needed to be aware of (including needing an oil change - which I will be getting him to come and do) but at no point pushed for me to do them there and then - zero pressure, just guidance. He repeatedly asked if I had any questions and was keen for me to understand what was happening and why - superb! He even cleared up the work area after he'd finished. Flawless. Aside from the convenience and Will just being an incredibly nice guy, his attention to detail and service are second to none. I have to give a shoutout to David and the LA Tires Team; this morning , I discovered a rain consealed pothole on one of our excellent LA freeways. Long story short it blew out my left rear tire. This place is great for tires--honest and reliable. I first came here four years ago to replace my tire sensors, and David, the owner, advised me to replace just one broken sensor instead of all four, which he could have easily done to make more money. Now, four years later, I returned because another sensor broke. I only trust them for my tire needs. The only downside is that the shop is small and busy, making parking difficult and finding an employee a bit of a hassle. read more

I had taken here my three cars a Kia Optima, a Honda Civic and my old neon they are always prompt and very informative with their service. It is a very hard place to go in or parked because their is a recycling business in the same lot which makes it a little hard to maneuver around the people constantly walking but if it's anything about their service is very good. read more

After searching yelp for a tire shop, I came across LA tires. I had a flat tire so I went with them and they told me that it had a nail. That they would be able to patch it up. I was so relieved because I didn't want to spend on a new tire. Very fast and cheap as well. I was in there less than 20 minutes. They were a life saver. read more
