Located right at the corner of Iris and Lasselle in the Stater Bros shopping center with plenty of parking. We walked in here for our early caffeine fix and grabbed a Ham & Cheese Croissant while at it. The drip coffee seemed fresh, but had an oddly thick consistency so I couldn't really drink it and the sandwich was a bit too greasy for my taste. Customer service was okay. The shop is clean and organized with a couple of booths if you want to eat there. Besides donuts and coffee, they offer Smoothies, Boba, and a variety of Croissant Sandwiches. The service was great and the girls were super friendly! But I will never buy donuts from here again. My and my kids each took one bite of our donuts (we got a dozen) and immediately spit them out. Business must be really slow. They sold us 2 miserably STALE donuts and began arguing (over a measly $3.00) furiously and disrespectfully about how they were 'fresh' after I brought them back. Beware before you leave...make sure that nothing is hard. TERRIBLE customer service with any return. There are too many donut stores with pleasant customer service to deal with that sort of rude response. They normally have fresh food. Business must be slow for that same reason, disrespectful behavior with any return. read more

This place is tucked away in a shopping center with a couple good place to get some food, drink and maybe grocery shop. It's located across the way from Panda Express. Walking in I was greeted by a very nice young lady and she was knowledgeable on what they have to offer. I always love going to the pink box donuts and it's a childhood thing. Variety of donuts to choose from and drinks as well. I had to hurry and get out because two donuts would have became a dozen smh lol. The donut are fresh, and really good. The place is super clean, well organized, stocked up. The person that attended me was very friendly. As soon as I walked in she greeted me & attended me right away. My family & I wanted donuts after 7 pm & seen it was still open. Glad they still had a lot of variety left. Bought a dozen assorted and we all enjoyed them. They were soo delicious, brought back a memory when my dad would take us to a donuts shop after Sunday night services. The prices aren't bad compared to other local spots. I drove from Perris. We pit-stopped here before our AYSO Thunderbird Classic Tournament at Mountain View Middle School this morning. Wanted to get a sweet treat for our team in attempts to hopefully pump them up with a sugar rush before their two games. Place was kitty cornered in the shopping plaza, small, clean, warm and welcoming. The young male cashier that was assisting me was super friendly and helpful too. I really appreciated the fact that he was patient enough to answer all my questions about which donut was which, maybe they should put labels to make it easier. I got a dozen and a half assortment for $15. Great deal for some full sized donuts, also love any place that gives a military discount as well. PLUS don't forget to check-in here because you will also get a FREE donut, I picked a coconut one for myself. The donut was soft and not overly sweet, really fresh! I've been coming here for the past 12 years and these have been my favorite donuts in the area! The quality is so good and the location is clean inside. Service is always great, there have been times where the guy at the front has filled up my box to its capacity and charged me as if it was half a dozen, so nice! The shop is located right across from Panda Express and directly next to Cold Stone Creamery. It is tucked away in a relatively busy plaza, where there is plenty of parking. Based on the numerous times I've been to this donut shop, I can honestly say that the quality of their donuts and amazing customer service always exceed my expectations. Their donuts are made fresh daily, reasonably priced, and have a huge selection! Customer service is outstanding--friendly and patient workers, positive attitude that creates a positive environment, and workers always throw in an extra donut! This donut shop is also the cleanest compared to the other donut shops I've been to. It's very spacious and there is plenty of indoor seating. Overall, I've always had a pleasant experience at Better Be Donuts. It's truly the best donut shop I've ever been to! I think it's a little ridiculous to be charging a $3 minimum to use a card. Not everyone wants more then one donut. And quite frankly I remember this place not having a minimum when using cards. I mean I just did it 2 days ago. So if this is a new thing I'll most likely take my business elsewhere. read more

It's not until after you move away from SoCal that you realize you've taken mom and pop doughnut shops for granted. I'm in NYC now and little mom and pop doughnut shops selling cheap doughnuts in a pink box don't exist. While I was in town, I drove by Better-Be Donuts one morning and actually made a U-turn to come try it. This doughnut shop is exactly what I expect when walking into a doughnut shop. Decent variety of doughnuts with a few seats if you decide to eat in. I was so excited and Better-Be didn't disappoint. I went with my two standards to try out this place. I had a glazed old-fashioned which had a nice crispy exterior and dense interior. The amount of glaze was just right and it wasn't too sweet. It was just sweet enough to be satisfying. I also tried a cinnamon crumb cake doughnut. The texture of the cake doughnut is pretty perfect. It was soft and fluffy, while also having some substance to it. Again, the cinnamon crumb was satisfyingly flavorful without being too sweet. The two doughnuts cost me less than $2. A great bargain for the quality. I'm used to paying somewhere around $3-4 for a doughnut at the fancier NYC places. I'd much rather have a Better-Be doughnut. read more

Good donuts. Fresh, never stale. Most of the standard flavor choices. Nothing terribly unique or crazy. Just the usual flavors done well. The croissant sandwiches are very light, airy breading. Great croissants. Filling is pretty sparse for the size of the croissant, so you get many bites of just bread. BUT the bread is so delicious that isn't a negative to me, and honestly I still find one of these very filling. Friendly, prompt and helpful staff. read more

There was a line for the kiosk and after I ordered my drinks, the line was consistently to the door. There was a very wide selection of drinks to choose from and I appreciate them having unique flavors and twists to drink. I was contemplating between a matcha einspanner and the oksusu (corn) matcha latte. When I asked if there was a way to mix the two, Taylor was super friendly and helpful to explain how each drink was made and differed from one another and then took the time to give me options on how I could change up my drink. I ended up going with the oksusu matcha latte because the Korean in me loves corn drinks but Taylor had the barista add a rim of matcha syrup that you typically get in the einspanner. I loved the oksusu flavored foam with the little crunchy puffs. The matcha flavor was a little lighter than I typically like but still props for the unique take. My hubby got the Hokkaido milk tea. It was definitely a very sweet drink with a caramel like syrup in it which is different than how we've had Hokkaido milk tea at other boba places. If you aren't into super sweet drinks, I would recommend going lighter on the sweet level. You order through the two available kiosks here. I noticed there wasn't up to date menus on Yelp photos so I will upload the different drink options I saw through the kiosk!

It could be a bit creamier, but it was still very enjoyable. The jasmine milk tea with regular sugar and light ice was just okay. I would not get it again since it tasted kind of bland. The main attraction here is definitely the popcorn chicken, however the food feels a little overpriced for the portion size. It was flavorful, well seasoned, perfectly salty, and crispy. Even at medium spice, it had a nice kick. There were no weird pieces either. The only downside is some inconsistency in size since a few pieces could be smaller. The mozzarella sticks were also very good. I prefer them with ketchup instead of marinara. They are your typical mozzarella sticks and taste good, but the popcorn chicken is what really stands out.

This can be adjusted of course, and certain other drinks (such as the tea-pressos) have a much more reasonable sweetness by default.
