hidden gem! not your typical donut shop. if you love Vietnamese coffee and you don't want to drive down to san diego to get your Vietnamese coffee fix this small donut shop in moval is just the spot! i popped in because im at the tire shop next door and decided to grab something to drink. and thank goodness i did! the shop does close at 3pm so i'll definitely have to make my way in the early morning as they have TONS of options for donuts and drinks! mochi donuts on the weekends and more fun flavors too! they have smoothies, tea, iced coffee and blended drinks as well. they also make deli sandwiches and croissants, i also seen they had everything bagels and more as well! so definitely tons of breakfast and lunch options. the service was amazing! the kind lady working was super helpful and gave good recommendations, she was also super kind! cannot wait to come back! read more

Dropped in here yesterday to grab a couple dozen donuts for a morning meeting at work. The line looked long when I walked in. But the girls got everyone through pretty quickly. I was running late and thought I'd be stuck waiting a long time. But nope, got out of there pretty quickly. The girl that waited on me was really good at what she does. She knew about all their donuts and answered all my questions. She was really friendly. It's rare to see a smile from employees in a place like this. But the girls here were happy and smiling, which translates into good customer service. Back at the office, the donuts were a hit. Everyone loved them. We do morning meetings about once a month. Donuts are great here. It's creamy, soft, and fresh. The staff are nice and will carry a conversation with you and ask you how you are. They are friendly! I've been bringing my kids here almost daily,,,my Daughter is addicted to the Huge Croissants they make here,,I love their breakfast Croissant and last week tried their Bagels and you can really taste the difference from the other donut places,,I went to a few before I found this one and never tasted any better one's these are really fresh,,,their Coffee is so Yummy and Organic. Village - it's a skinny lady with glasses - donuts seem fresh only in the morning, later during the day they bring out what seems like day old donut. wtf?! I highly recommend only buying in the morning!! Also, bring cash - they over charge me for some crazy fee with their debt card use!! Pam - an older lady that's super friendly and warming!!! Love her. donuts are good. But parking kind of sucks and price is kind of high compare to everywhere else. They also sale a lot of non-donut stuff too like a donut shop turning into a 711. Oh whee!!!! J.J.'s - she's a funny lady always joking around with her regular customers who take up a whole table in the store. Nice shop, but horrible set up. Spent about $3.50 on a donut and milk and left paying $8 after fees for using a debit card. The women nicely warns me there is a $1 fee for using a debit card... I said ok that's fine, I didn't have cash. Then after sliding my card she says it's under $5 and the minimum is $5 so she charges $5 to my card... At this point I'm not mad but I decided instantly I'd only come back if I had cash.... Well a few days after I checked my bank account and there's a $6 charge from them AND my chase bank hit me with a NON CHASE ATM FEE. $2...total- $8 for 1 donut and 1 milk. I bought doughnuts from this place a few times before, and even though they were a bit too greasy and service often was slow, it was a convenient stop on the way to work. Last week though, I bought a dozen doughnuts for work. One coworker found curly hair inside her jelly doughnut! I brought up the hair issue to the shop earlier this morning, but they rudely brushed me off and accused me/my coworkers of planting the hair in there! Excuse us, but how would we be able to put curly hair INTO a baked dough? I didn't ask for a refund -- I simply brought up the issue so that they would be aware of it. But when a customer is brushed off like this morning AND the customer himself is accused of the wrongdoing... We are NEVER getting doughnuts here again, no matter how convenient of a stop it is! While visiting in Moreno Valley, I stopped in to this jewel of a shop to check out whether west coast donuts are even in the running.. The donuts here were super fresh and tasty. And the apple fritters were heavy/dense, the way I like them. The facility was clean and the customer service... stellar. If I'm ever back in the Valley.. First first, great donuts!! Like Linds L said, they always taste fresh. In fact, I go in the morning and I see the baker making them. If I ask for something specific while he's still making them, like a different frosting, he'll make them for me with no complaints. He also likes to make friendly conversation with the customers, as does his wife. The french cruellers are the best, and not many other places around here make them. Try the ham and cheese croissant, it's large and leaves you full for a couple of bucks. read more
