I came here to catch up and grab coffee with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The seasonal menu is located outside and I grabbed a quick look at it before going in when you enter the menu is written on the wall to your left. The inside is pretty spacious with plenty of tables and seats so we were able to sit down right after we ordered. The pastries looked pretty good and I'm thinking about getting them next time! It was a little busy inside with a line, but they were fast at taking orders. There was a little bit of a way, but totally understandable. I stopped in towards the end of October a few days before Halloween. I have been dying to try their cupcakes. I got the chocolate cupcake, a spice cake and their turtle cupcake. My mom and sister both enjoyed the turtle cupcake and the chocolate and the spice cake was great too. It is very cute inside and I love the decor and their menu. You could order coffee as well but I was just in for the cupcakes, they were about $4 each. I ordered a chocolate cupcake . So disappointed! The cake part was ok but the frosting was horrible! It didn't even taste like chocolate frosting . It was a frosting that had a hint of chocolate. This is the tastiest and best coffee treat place. BUT. The decaf drives me crazy. I have a pretty bad caffeine sensitivity, but most decaf things don't affect me. Whatever decaf they use here though, is not very decaffeinated. I always get the symptoms of anxiety, sweating, etc. It's not as strong as a fully caffeinated beverage, but there's definitely a lot more caffeine present in their blend than the typical decaffeinated beverage. I do keep coming back, because it tastes that good, but anyone with caffeine sensitivity beware! The tasty tasty drinks will give you psychic damage! (Also, I have a friend who also has caffeine sensitivity, and she's had the same problem I do here, so it's not only me!) The set up is different from any other cupcake place I've been in. Everything is in a dome, with the flavors written on the outside. You have to go to the register, and let the cashier know, which cupcakes, cookies, danish, croissant, muffin, or cookie you want. Seems to be a chill place, as I saw 3 people in there with their laptops and books, and looked to be studying. If you like croissants that are more crunchy, it may not be for you. Ja'Mocha Ghiacciato: 10/10, perfectly satisfied my blended coffee craving and it was the perfect size and sweetness! Jalapeño Cheddar Croissant: 8/10, also a tasty and soft croissant. I didn't taste much of the cheddar or jalapeño though, but I didn't mind too much. Overall, I see myself coming back here again to get some work done. The total for our purchase came out to around $23. The service was great, in fact the worker recommended the pastries that we got and we weren't disappointed! Ricky greeted us as we entered which was very nice.
