I walk in and I took my time to look around and I haven't been there in like over 15 years or so. The donuts did not look good. I came in to 2 breakfast croissant sausage egg & cheese sandwich bcuz one for me and the other for my manager. I took my time to look at the board ( the picture menu) the lady behind the counter said something but I did not understand what she was saying so I didn't respond and I was already in the store now for 2 minutes just looking at the menu. Growing up I've always known the pink box donuts and as an adult I haven't been to interested in donuts but today it was different. I wanted a darn donut! I heard about this place from an acquaintance. Walking in, its a typical classic donut shop, seating for the older people who comes in the morning to read the newspaper and rink their coffee. The "L" shape donut display with of course a fridge for the juices, I can only image kids coming for a couple of donut and a cold orange juice before school. The lady behind the counter was nice and ready to take my order. Everything looked good. Of course they had the classic, glazed, crum, chocolate, sprinkles, twist, cinnamon roll and so many more. I couldn't decided, when I saw the heart shaped pink donut I just knew she was the one. After picking my donuts, the lady proceeded to add a bonus donut which was so nice of her, and I couldn't say no duh. The donuts $1.50 for the ones I recorded I can only image the bigger donut would cost a little bit more. It was a nice place to experience and I will come back when I get the donut urge. I'll start by writing I am not that big of a fan of donuts, I'll give that title to my husband. My husband tried a couple places for donuts after work once a week for the family. I'll tell you, he is very picky and is very hard to convince something is good. Most of the places he tried, he wasn't very into. Well, I went on Yelp recently to try and find another place. I asked him if he had tried Moreno Family Donuts and he had said no. After that, I told him this is where we are going then. When we got to the location and went inside, the employee greeted us so cheerfully it couldn't help but put a smile on our faces. She was very vibrant and very attentive to what we were getting. Why didn't we find this place sooner? After she helped us, I asked about the giant sprinkle donut available, and told my husband we would have to come back again. After we got home, we all sat down to try the donuts. This place really did it and I can safely say we found a place to grab some donuts. You know it's good when you come in an hour after they've opened and most of their stuff is gone. Operated by a Chinese lady so it us like a lot of hole in the wall donut shops. They did give me a 10 percent discount for being in the service. Their donuts are plentiful in the usual assortment.
