if you want great tasting bagels , this is the place to go. The bagels are baked fresh with lots of variety to choose from. Cream crease smears are great with a good amount of variety as well. It's a deal breaker when a bagel shop does not have good coffee options. We are decaf coffee drinkers, ordered two cups only to discover their only decaf option is flavored vanilla. What? Spicey deluxe $7.89 and an additional $0.99 for jalapeño. I mistakenly thought the $0.99 was to have cream cheese. Not so. Shop is spacious to accommodate the lines of people. Lines move quickly but a small wait for food. A few seats scattered but not enough for you to come with friends. Stars are for initial hot food. I was very excited to try this bagel place today but walked away feeling unsure if I want to return. The bagel itself was delicious but the customer service was terrible. I recently got hired in Riverside and simply did a search to find bagels near my place of employment. This was the first one to come up and it had good reviews. I walked in and was amazed to see all the options they had. It was a little uncoordinated, as there were women waiting at the counter but had already paid, so not sure if they use both counters or what not. I waited patiently to be called after the women were served. I ordered a jalapeno and cheese bagel and asked how spicy the jalapeno cream cheese was. The woman, clearly annoyed, told me "it's spicy, it's jalapeno". I said I understood it's jalapeno and she rolled her eyes and outright said, "so chive or regular". I was taken aback by this. But against my judgement I ordered the jalapeno.... Sometimes they aren't as spicy and being my first time I'm truly wondering how spicy it is, mildly spicy, regular spicy, or a little extra spicy, come on. I then asked if they had any fountain drinks and she looked at me and said "no, just the case", and motioned to the cases of drinks. I ordered a tea, waited for my order, and left. I'm really sad with how this person acted and treated a new customer who is literally stepping in for the first time to their business. Even the woman who gave me my order gave me looks as she stood next to the woman who took my order. I felt like I didn't belong there and just wanted to leave. Not sure if I will go back... But, I will say, despite the two girls ugly type of behavior. The bagel was actually good. It was soft and and had great flavor! The spread was for sure on the more spicy side but still good.
