    The sign outside was hysterical.

My daughter and I had to run downtown today so we decided to hit 4th Avenue for a quick bite. My daughter mentioned that there was a new boba place on 4th and being big fans of all things boba, we headed to Better Bevs. Walking in, we were immediately overwhelmed by the huge menu of choices. Don't get me wrong. That's definitely not a bad thing and there were many choices if boba isn't your thing! After perusing the menu for a while, my daughter chose a pistachio milk tea with traditional boba and I chose a strawberry cheesecake milk tea with strawberry popping boba. We also ordered grilled cheese sandwich each, knowing full well with only 3 sandwiches on the menu that food definitely isn't their forte. The drinks were made quickly and the sandwiches came shortly after. The staff were all friendly and inviting, so zero complaints about the service. Our boba tea was AMAZING! I'm a bit angry that I ordered the strawberry cheesecake milk tea because it was so good, I'll be hard-pressed to try anything else! I will definitely have to make myself try something different next time. Maybe. I also tasted my daughter's pistachio milk tea and it was delicious too. Now for the sandwiches. We really weren't expecting much, so I guess we weren't disappointed. Was it the worst grilled cheese we've ever had? No, certainly not. Did it make either of us maybe inappropriate sounds in public because it was so tasty? Again, no. The bread was tasty (sourdough maybe?) and it was grilled nicely but it was very dry. I'm pretty sure no butter was harmed in the making of these sandwiches. Boo hiss. It was nowhere near worth $4.50. Maybe add some butter, use thicker bread and include a small bag of chips. Bam. Now it's worth $5. All in all, we will definitely be returning. We will just make sure to eat beforehand or afterward.

If you are a big boba fanatic... I would pass on this place ): It's definitely a good place to take kids on a hot day since the place is very spacious and well air conditioned. However... I don't think the syrups they use with their tea goes well together. The strawberry hibicious tea I got was mediocre. The boba wasn't bad but the drink itself did not go well together and for $7 bucks.. not worth it..

This is my second visit. Due to a mix up, I had a slight allergic reaction and didn't feel that I could give a fair review on my first visit. Customer service was excellent both visit. The staff is friendly and really seems to enjoy their job. Drinks are available as small, medium, large, and mason jar sizes. They also offer three different sandwiches. I got the exact same thing both times, a large chocolate milk tea and a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese seems to be made with a panini press and is pretty good, if slightly greasy. The chocolate milk tea was definitely a large and was delightful even if it was a bit on the sweet side. I will most likely be back to try some of their other drinks, like their Italian sodas and maybe their Hawaiian style shaved ice.

My nephew brought me here saying its the best, and wanted me to experience it since I love boba, and milk teas. Unfortunately, this was just ok. Not bad but not great either. Just the middle of the mill hoba around town. The atmosphere is cool though. They have a chalk wall that everyone writes or draws whatever they want, and the music is cool along with the big menu hanging over the counter. The customwr service was also good. The drinks themselves though, should be the star of the show, but instead they were the most basic thing there. Dont get me wrong if im walking by and want some boba i would go, but there r way better places with way more flavor in their drinks. I say give it a shot and see what you think. It might have just been an ok 3 drinks we got haha. Good luck people :)

Came across this nice beverage shop after dinner last week. Wow these teens can make good drinks and the ambiance is groovy. Service was excellent. Definitely gonna come back to try one of their many drinks from their extensive menu.

I am so impressed with this spot! The shop is very clean, they have a big menu and very friendly employees. The location is perfect too. Right between 4th avenue and Congress. The Cha-Mango was DELICIOUS!! The texture of the snow was so fluffy and had the perfect amount of sweet. Locally owned, Latina owned and ran by women... everything I want in a business! I also enjoy that they are open so late! These girls know what they're doing and they deserve your business. Give it a try!

Sugar free-brown sugar boba tea Better Bevs, has lots of rotating sugar free options, don't hesitate to ask about the SF flavors

If you are wanting to visit one of the most welcoming, relaxed, and enjoyable boba shops in Tucson. I highly recommend stopping by Better Bevs. Employees quick efficient and clean, ownership is top tier, making sure all and every guest who walks through the doors are welcomed, and are able to enjoy at least a handful of things on the menu. The staff were able to accommodate my drink preferences with items on their menu so I didn't feel left out while my friends had their fun drinks. 10/10 recommend for Individuals with dietary restrictions, as they're able to accommodate. Drinks were delicious, and the boba was fresh, and not gummy. Restaurant is clean.

    cherry limeade!

great service, great drinks, and vibey ambiance. Has been our favorite drink place for a couple of months. The cookies and cream snow is very good and so are the sour slushies! definitely the best place to get drinks on 4th ave!

I work down the street and decided to check out this new beverage spot with my friend and co-worker. While under construction we were told they would have boba and were so excited! They have so much more than boba!! Their menu is insane from the typical milk tea options to specialty items like tiger brown sugar boba to popping boba with flavors like chili mango playing homage to the Tucson pueblo and familiar flavors of the desert Southwest and Mexico. It was super hot out so we grabbed a cucumber lemonade...not even going to lie it is probably the best lemonade I've ever tasted tbh! It has a fresh garnish of mini cucumbers that were so cute! If you choose not to seal your cup the traditional boba style they do really fun things like make chili, salt and sugar rims for your to go orders! If you chill and sip in their shop they serve their drinks in huge old timey mason jar glass cups!! They definitely give you large drink sizes which is perfect when you've spent all day in the AZ heat walking, thrifting and shopping all that downtown Tucson has to offer. Perfect spot for those bar crawling or tailgating to get their pregame fix as they have a drink that is full of electrolytes that they say will help prevent hangovers! Their staff appears to be young college kids that are all super friendly and helpful! They were busy but worked fast together to get everyone's drinks out! They had a super cute mugshot on the wall of their team members. I highly recommend you stop in and check out this little hidden gem nestled between Ermanos and The Shanty!! I can't wait to try more flavors, bye bye paycheck!

They arrived quickly , with a nice sauce for dipping , though , they were SO good , it wasn't necessary . We were given a complimentary slice of cheesecake , as it was Mother's Day and her birthday , and it TOO was a generous portion , and VERY good !! The door was already open, and we watched another gentleman walk in and order four drinks, so naturally we assumed they were serving customers. However, when we entered, an employee told us to go back outside and wait until they officially opened. No problem. We waited and came back in at 12:02 PM. Once we were ready to order, we asked for a drink with regular tapioca boba. The employee told us it wasn't ready yet and suggested crystal boba instead. We explained that we were willing to wait for the regular tapioca, but we kept getting the impression they really didn't want us to order it because they repeatedly emphasized that it would take a while. Crystal boba is not the same thing as traditional tapioca boba. At that point, the employee was also having issues with the POS system and seemed very stressed trying to make the previous customer's drinks while simultaneously texting their manager for help. We were asked to wait off to the side. About 10 minutes later, who I assume was the manager arrived and helped get everything sorted out. After asking about the available toppings and trying samples of the crystal boba, we finally placed our order. Unfortunately, two of our three drinks came out wrong. One drink was supposed to be a plain Jasmine Floral Milk Tea with lychee jelly and light ice. Instead, it came with no jelly at all and regular ice. Another drink was supposed to be a Strawberry Jelly Watermelon Slush with crystal boba, but it arrived with lychee jelly instead. By that point, after waiting through the opening confusion, POS issues, topping availability issues, and ordering delays, we honestly didn't feel like spending even more time having drinks remade. For nearly $25 for three drinks, I expected a much smoother experience. I understand that opening can be hectic, but it felt like the shop wasn't fully prepared to serve customers when the doors opened. The drinks themselves were fine, but getting two out of three orders wrong after such a long wait was disappointing. Hopefully this was just an off day, but based on our visit, the experience didn't live up to the reputation and positive reviews we saw beforehand.

I also very much love their crystal boba and yakult offerings. Today, I stopped in for something super light and non-caffeinated.
