They buy excellent (HP, Dell, etc.) laptops from top tier companies that have a two year "technology refresh" contract. Into these 2-year-old laptops, they wipe the memory, put in a new HD, new battery, a fresh install of the OS (Win10 on mine) and recent MS Office. They even through in a new power brick and cord. The price? $200 for mine. (I'd guess this may be slightly higher by now, or based on the batch they have received/refurbished). I will never buy another brand new laptop while living in B'more, as long as BNet is in business. Good shop, and a great deal on a computer that's still running strong
