Dr. Lee treats the persistent issues I have in my neck, traps, lower back and tight hips with e-stim and heat, acupuncture, massage therapy and using graston to really work out those stubborn knots. His office is small, clean, and I appreciate and often look forward to the "mini-naps" I get in during e-stim and acupuncture while listening to Christian music. I have never had any problems making an appointment or being seen on time. What really makes Dr. Lee stand out is that if you're hurting and really need to see him, he has on multiple occasions, worked me into his schedule before or after his normal working schedule. I tweaked my back sneezing right before going on travel, and Dr. Lee saw me after hours for a much needed adjustment, the night before my flight. Saved me a week of pain while traveling! Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lee since there was a last minute availability and I had hurt my back the previous day. He took his time to listen and educated me on my alignment issues/problem areas. He then proceeded with the machine warm-up, adjustment, then concluded the appointment with his feedback & following courses of action. The sessions are straight to the point, but never rushed. I've never had a long wait to be treated. I felt better almost immediately and after four sessions, there has been so much improvement. He's very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. My previous chiropractor had retired recently so I'm glad I found Dr. Lee! My only complaint is the parking in this medical center is limited (thus always full) since part of the area is closed off, but there is valet, street parking as well as a free parking lot in the next building. read more

I received very helpful treatment for prolonged back pain at the Better Life Chiropractic. Dr. Seung Lee has a thorough, systematic approach to different sets of muscles. I like that he works by himself (except for the warm-up treatment for which he has a kind assistant). Thus, he gets to address your problematic areas repeatedly and, in my experience, with attention and real care (you don't get rotated among different chiropractors from session to session, each with only a superficial memory of your particular problem). I was having some lower back "tightness", and though I had never before been to a Chiropractor, decided to take a chance when I saw a Groupon for Better Life Chiropractic & Acupuncture...and I am so glad I did! Dr. Lee took time to listen to my concerns...and when I mentioned I had previously gone for Physical Therapy for a frozen shoulder (with limited success), he advised that he could assist with that as well. Though he doesn't participate with my insurance plan, visits (including electrical nerve stimulation, heated table massage therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue treatment & adjustments) cost less than my out-of-pocket preferred costs for physical therapy visits. I had my first visit yesterday and Dr. Lee made a great first impression. He was very informative and explained every step he was taking or what each machine/exercise was doing for my lower back pain. He was honest with me, told me his game plan and explained his thought process to me. Most importantly, he listened to me! I had seen other doctors for the same pain that I visited Dr. Lee for and Dr. Lee was the only one who truly listened, fully answered any questions I had and took me seriously. Dr. Lee also noticed a few other adjustments that he would have to make but made it clear that his primary concern was to make my body stronger to prevent further pain in the future and relieve the pain I was/am feeling. Compared to the other doctors, Dr. Lee had a different approach and utilized different exercises and/or tests to diagnosis my pain which was refreshing and actually made sense. After moving into new house, I had been having serious pain in the fingers and hand for about 2 months and didn't like continually taking pain medication to mask the pain I was feeling. I was suffering on my back and right leg caused from my past military training injuries.. some physical therapy treatments from a military recovery center did not help much, so I researched and visited his office in Annandale before he open his new office in Fairfax. Had a sore neck and upper back. I am currently going here for treatment twice a week. It is excellent. I went to two other chiropractors before this and Dr. Lee is the best. I get electrotherapy with hot pads, sit in a spinal rolling machine thing, then massage therapy, and finally spinal adjustment by Dr. Lee. The massage therapy is the best part.
