Come to this golf store and experience and play, or at least putt around this Tinley Park based company. It also has plenty of gear and to get it you wouldn't even have to actually play. Bettinardi Golf is a locally owned manufacturer of apparel and equipment. Kind of a basic concept when thinking about it. There's a crap ton one can buy though. Basically they've been around awhile. It's not one of the biggest golf companies, but they certainly have been successful. There's a lot of well known golfers who have used their clubs over the years. A few rinky dink tournament wins, but also a few majors. Several of the most successful to ever play including Matt Kuchar, Phil Mickelson, and Jesper Parnevik have PGA wins with them. Certainly there's plenty of other companies that players have won with too, so maybe not look into that too much of course. What sets them apart is the founder of the company Robert J. Bettinardi, who invented the one-piece milled putter. Also check out the retail store in Oak Brook. There's lots of great stuff. For sure it's great equipment and it's a great gift for someone you know. It's certainly innovative and they're always trying new things out. I recently visited Studio B Oak Brook last week to have a new grip installed on my daughter's queen bee putter. Upon arrival, I was greeted by David Santiago, a Studio B fitter. His exceptional service and attention to detail impressed me from start to finish. David took care of my issue etticiently and ettectively, and as a result, my daughter is now happy and making birdies on the course. They are in Oakbrook now! Right by MJ steakhouse. This place is SO COOL! They do assessments with tons of technology and can help you with your stroke, fitting and overall game. They also have "the hive" with custom products you can buy. You have to make an appointment for the hive, it's worth it! Eve one there is helpful and knowledgeable. First, the good stuff. I have owned probably 10 Bettinardi putters in the last 15 years. They make great quality stuff. I have a hat as well, which is also top notch. Now, the bad. I purchased a wedge from their site back in May. It took forever to arrive, but they are pretty small and most likely busy, so no big deal. When it did arrive the specs on the club were off by a mile. It was a full inch short, which is bizarre, because almost nobody would want a wedge that is that short, unless you are 5 feet tall I guess. The swing weight was way off as well, which is a sign that it was built that short by accident. I sent an email about it, and they sent a return label, although they seemed to doubt that I knew what I was talking about. The person I dealt with was Pam, who has been mentioned in a less than favorable light in a couple other reviews here. She seemed less than interested in my issues, to put it in a kind light. Things got worse when my return was lost in the mail. At that point, Pam had less than zero interest. I understand the mail issue is not their fault, but I would not have had to send it back if they built the wedge correctly in the first place. After getting no help from Pam, I sent a message to their Instagram account. This was a direct message. I did not air my problems where the public could see them. They ignored my message. Then the second and third attempts as well. At this point, they probably think I am nuts:). If not, they must figure that there is nothing to be gained from replying to me. Still not a very mature way to approach customer service issues. As I said before, this debacle is not all their fault, but their unwillingness to take responsibility for shoddy club building is not encouraging. Eventually, I gave up. I had also purchased a set of their irons on eBay at almost the same time as this fiasco started. I ended up selling them without ever playing them - at a slight loss - because I could not allow myself to reward a company with such awful customer service by continuing to play their equipment. I doubt I will ever buy another Bettinardi product. I already sold one of my remaining Bettinardi putters. A friend of mine who has owned even more of their stuff than I have said he is done with them as well. Getting a reputation for awful customer service is not a great way to continue growing your company. I hope they improve moving forward. It won't help me any, but at least others might not have to experience the same level of frustration that I have. I am not writing this to tell people to avoid their products, but if you buy from them, you better hope you do not need customer service following the sale. read more

This is just a review on the customer service and not the products. I was a huge huge Bettinardi fan. Had multiple putters, headcovers, clothes, gear, swag etc. Would look at the Hive weekly. Got multiple friends to also purchase Bettinardi putters instead of going with Scotty Cameron or other premium putter brands. Unfortunately, my home burned down in the Palisades fires, so lost everything including all by Bettinardi gear. My sister reached out to Bettinardi and got a response from Pam, who I know based on some other searches, people have had issues with. My sister was trying to figure out what putters I had and also wanted to replace some gear and asked if any discounts were coming up. Pam gave a rather cold response saying "they can't do for one if they don't do for all". Generally just a strange and unhelpful response and my sister was not asking for anything free (and still would have purchased putters and gear without a discount but just wanted some help as she isn't a golfer and many places were running publicized discounts for fire victims). My sister followed up clarifying and Pam didn't respond. A few months later when I was planning to repurchase, my sister sent me the email thread so I could see if I still wanted to purchase from Bettinardi. I sent Bettinardi an email letting them know I was pretty disappointed with their lack of customer service. I never got a response. Pretty bummed out as I was planning a trip later this year to go to Chicago and head over to the studio to get a custom putter and purchase from the Hive, but obviously won't be doing that anymore. A coworker also let me know he had reached out as he knew about my Bettinardi obsession and he also received a cold response. This is just not the customer service necessary for a high end/premium brand and my experience with other golf companies and other high end non-golf brands in general post the fires has been quite the opposite. Overall just rather disappointed and sad that Bettinardi will no longer be part of my golfing experience. read more

Have one of their putters. Love it! But I'd stay away from their Cart Bags. I bought one and within 3 uses (3 weeks from new) had the cording start to severely break down on multiple areas. When I reached out to them they would not refund me for the bag. I sent them pics of the issue to no avail. The materials used in the seam cording, although look great, are a cheap material which clearly isn't designed to withstand even ride on a golf cart. I was very disappointed with the customer service as they never returned my calls. Ultimately, email was the only route they'd communicate. They did offer me a $50 gift card after my refusal to accept "sorry, you're out of luck" as an answer... Not sure what that is supposed to do as I'm stuck with a brand new yet already shottie looking bag. Disappointed in the customer care and would be very reluctant to use them for anything moving forward. In short, would highly recommend staying away from anything they make other than putters. read more

The Bettinardi studio was awesome from start to finish. I got the chance to working with Tim in Studio B and he was awesome. He was super welcoming and walked me through the process step by step and made sure I understood what we were doing and why. The price for the putters are a little steep but I understand why they are. It was awesome to learn so quickly about the adjustments I needed to make on my stroke and what putter fit me the best. I did not end up purchasing a putter, but I will be back and Tim understood and gave me his card to get back to him when I am ready to pull the trigger. Bought 7.0 INOVAI putter, that was to heavy and made me struggle with distance control. Call the company to return the putter or replace. They emailed a return label and received the putter. Initially by phone they indicated a 20% restocking fee, but then stated that I was out of there return policy window. The customer service has been argumentitive and unwilling to work with me on returning a reasonable refund. I ask to speak to a supervisor or manager and a customer service representative indicated that they don't have any. She accused me of removing a wrap of the putter and indicated that it was used. The putter was in good condition when it was returned and if they where not going to take the return why send the return slip. Bottom line horrible customer service and horrible product. Still in the process of trying to get my money back $454. read more

Before u go to Golf galaxy and dump $250 on a putter. Check Bettinardi's putter fitting out. U will be very impressed. I went with my nephew who is a college golfer (they give an extra 20% off for college golfers). It was an awesome experience and a very thorough fitting. The facility really is incredible. The fitting is free if u buy a putter. Which makes this a no brainer. I'll be going there for myself soon. read more

Top notch company, just purchased my second Bettinardi putter. There was some abnormal blemish from being at the store... I wasn't sure how to get that fixed or exchanged. I called Bettinardi direct and to my surprise the problem was resolved and I had a new putter same day, Ryan Fredricks with Bettinardi couldn't have been more professional with helping me.
