I LOVE Betty's! This place is a veggie's dream come true; just about everything on the menu can be accommodated for a vegetarian (they have tofu!) The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The menu is fairly ethnically diverse and offers both very healthy and not-so healthy options. We stopped by on our way home for a quick lunch. Betty's is a nice little corner location in Kutztown. The staff was very nice and the pricing was very affordable. The menu was filled with authentic selections. I enjoyed an all natural Ginger Ale that was delicious. The cauliflower soup was rather tasty. Betty's is my all time favorite restaurant in kutztown. Their chicken Caesar wrap is good, and the chicken they use is so fresh! I would recommend anyone who enjoys healthy, fresh sandwiches and wraps to give Betty's a try. Also, they probably have one of the fastest deliveries in town. This is a great place! I love their wrap with the mango, rice and black beans, but every other one I've tried is delicious. Once they gave me rancid pineapple in a wrap, but I'm pretty sure they replaced it straight away when I went back with a new wrap. They have options to make it healthier like wheat wraps and brown rice, and vegetarians can easily find some delicious choices (though I'm a true omnivore). The wraps are a bit sloppy. This might be due to the fact that none of the vegetables are thoroughly dried before use, but with that being said, the ingredients are fresh and nicely spread across the sandwich to ensure each bite is as good as the last. The menu doesn't offer much outside the usual selection one finds at establishments such as this one. Most of the other restaurants within the immediate area really only offer foods deep fried and loaded with fat, so this establishment offers a healthy alternative for those tired of cheesesteaks and fries. On the surface, Betty's is everything I look for: healthy fare, fresh, vegetarian, with a trendy atmosphere and a break away from the endless greasy pizza and burger joints that litter the town. However, no matter how many times I give them another chance and eat there once more I am tragically disappointed. Though the wraps are HUGE (the only thing you can order and seemingly get your money's worth,) but they are sub-par if not bland; you probably won't be finishing it or saving your leftovers. I'll admit the salads are fresh and use quality ingredients (none of that iceberg junk and lots of fresh veggies,) and the dressings are homemade and delicious. However, these salads are not worth it. You spend $6 on a"large" meatless salad that would never fill the tiniest of people up and is thus, overpriced and disappointing. Their soups are good, but nothing I'd go back for down the road. Their quesadillas are just average, and yet again they charge you extra for each "condiment" (like sour cream, salsa, and guacamole) that clearly go with these mexican dishes. The atmosphere may appear hip, though many might take it as tacky or gaudy. Moral of story: Betty's has overpriced, sub-par food. This is heartbreaking, as it's the only alternative (besides the sushi bar) to greasy fast food in Kutztown. read more

I was leaving PA today, so I decided to treat a friend for lunch at Betty's before the long drive to CT. I read the write-up on Yelp and we headed over around 1PM. The store is located on the corner, and I pulled a dumb tourist move. I turned right at the corner and went down the one way street. Ugh. After a verbal reprimand, I quickly pulled into a driveway and parked facing the right way. We went into Betty's and I was impressed with the service and utilitarian function of everything in the place. Nothing fancy, just useful. The menu was terrific with a lot of vegetarian options. What should I do? Well I went for the Chicken quesadilla and added fresh salsa and quacamole. My friend ordered a veggie wrap. We both liked our food. He picked up a Nantucket Nectars and I grabbed a real ginger ale (pure cane sugar and real ginger inside). I must admit the quesadilla was a bit filling for lunch, but I ate the whole thing. I looked on the counter and they had every hot sauce you could imagine, including my favorite, Cholula Hot Sauce. Pretty good stuff, definitely a good alternative to Subway. One of these reviewers is so out of line with the rest of the other reviews that I have to assume that she is a competitor. Heck. I don't even live there; if I did I would be there about 3 or 4 times a week. read more

In my opinion, Betty's is the best place for lunch in Kutztown. If I could, I would eat from here every single day. Everything is made from scratch and their ranch dressing is unbelievable. My favorite wrap is the Mango Wrap but I rarely am able to finish a regular size. No worries- it tastes even better when heated up later in the day! Their snack wraps are the perfect grab-and-go size. I seriously recommend trying a refried bean and cheese snack wrap with avocado and hot sauce. Rachel, the owner, is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and I wish her and Betty's the best success. This is a MUST if you are visiting Kutztown. The service is excellent and very timely. I do recommend ordering pick-up if you are in a hurry, but their delivery drivers are always pleasant. If you had a bad experience prior, give Betty's a second chance- maybe you didn't order the wrap for you! Start with the Southwest Wrap with beef and I am confident you will never want Southwest dressing from any other place. read more

I am by no means a KU student, but if I was Id go here regularly. I drove forty minutes out of my way just the other day to come here for a delicious crispy buffalo chicken quesadilla. I'm gonna go on a limb here and assume their ranch dressing is homemade? Full of little pieces of dill, it's soooo good. Smoothies are clearly natural also. I love this place. It's like a tiny little cafe out of a movie or book. Must visit if you want a quick casual bite to eat with some authenticity. read more

I've been to Betty's many times and with rare exception, the food is good, fresh, and inexpensive. The funky-modern ambiance is a welcome change of pace from K'town's usual eateries (primarily pizza joints). Menu primarily consists of a variety of wraps (hot & cold), soups, salads, smoothies, and quesadillas. My only complaints have been around temperature (hot wraps were only moderately warm) -- only happened a few times, always around a busy lunch rush. read more

I love Betty's! I work close by, and we order from this establishment almost on a daily basis. I think the food is always consistent, and if something is incorrect it is immediately corrected. The best part about going to Betty's (besides the food) is the personality and welcoming demeanor of the staff.
