    Cup of Seafood bisque

Stopped in this diner after a morning of tricky tray in Bethlehem and the Allentown Farmers Market. Wow. Just wow. Love love love the ambience of red and white. Very clean diner. Seafood bisque was so yummy. The house salad was fresh and crisp. I believe Natalie was our waitress and she was so attentive and kind. On her toes the entire time as was the rest of the staff. The staff even sang happy birthday to a patron!! Love the personal touch! I would love to go back for dinner next time!!

Maraschino Diner is located on MacArthur Road In Whitehall Township. It's open every day from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. This was my second visit, and the experience was just as great as the first. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I've tried the wings, cheesesteak egg rolls, Rueben club, and two of the wraps. The wings and egg rolls were perfectly fried, the Reuben club was stacked with tender corned beef, and the wraps were slightly browned and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Still phenomenal on all levels with a variety of food that is compelling. The staff is amazing and Melissa is such an outstanding server! And there is nothing like being in a clean, well-lighted diner where you can talk, eat, and enjoy!

My first trip to Maraschino DINER just north of Allentown on 7th Street. The restaurant is clean and has a great look on the inside, both classic and moden diner vibes. I had information that their skillet breakfast selections are over the top. This information was absolutely the truth! I selected "The Country Sunrise" which included sausage, bacon, ham, American cheese, sausage gravy; all over Homefries & topped with your choice of two eggs. I choose sunny side eggs and added a 3rd egg. The plate was enough to feed two people! I enjoyed this dish from tip to tail. As I write this, I am craving another one! The top photo is how it was served and I did my best to get a photo of the cross section of the skillet. I can't wait to return and try some of their other offerings. The staff was wonderful: warm & welcoming. I sat at the counter. The coffee hit the mark, which is always one of my pet peeves when visiting a breakfast joint. #rushieeats

Pleasantly surprised by this diner. Stopped in for the first time on their one year anniversary. The Rueben Sandwich was very good. Came with hot crispy fries. The Cole Slaw portion was more like a sample. Could have used more slaw. Waitress was good and kept our drinks full. The outside of the diner doesn't reflect how nice it is inside. Because of the anniversary they gave us each a free cupcake. So full from the food, took that home. Will visit again sometime.

Waitress was incredibly nice! We love our diners and this one was great! I wanted my hashbrowns to have onion so they added them. We got 3 meats to share and they were fantastic! Would most definitely recommend and go again. Can I find a negative here? Maybe the parking on the side of the building. That's it! Make the trip!

Portions were huge, we wish we knew. The country sunrise skillet was not what we expected (my bad for not reading that it would be topped with gravy). The chorizo omelette was ok. The Mexican eggs Benedict had a weird sauce on top. Nothing was really bad but not my type of food.

What a wonderful experience. Came in today and had a simple eggs, home fries, and rye toast. It was fantastic, staff was fantastic, decorations were beautiful. Also love the story of your start up, the love was in the air and tangible. Door and windows could use a nice cleaning but

Delicious food; great prices; professional, enthusiastic, and attentive staff; and cute decor. Ample parking too.

When I first started going to the diner the service and food were very good. Was there the other day both food and service were horrible.

My First Five-Star Mix-Up…read more This might just be the first time I've ever given a 5-star review for an order that wasn't quite right. I placed a delivery order--two pies for our big family of eight--and only one showed up. Eight hungry people, one lonely pizza. You can imagine the scene. When I called, the mystery unraveled: another gentleman with my same name had stopped in, and walked out with a two-pizza order meant for us... without saying a word! Once the mix-up came to light, the owner herself, Janis, personally fired up the oven and baked not one but two fresh, perfect pies--then topped off the order with her homemade tiramisu to sweeten the evening. Sure, we had to wait an extra 30 minutes, and yes, the kids were getting restless. But the moment that tiramisu hit the table, all was forgiven. The pizza? A stellar rendition of the classic thin New York pie: a sauce that's sweet yet bold, cheese in perfect proportion, and that crispy "undercarriage" (shoutout to Dave Portnoy) that makes for an ideal bite every time. At first, I thought this might be our first and last order from DaVinci's. But after experiencing the warmth and integrity of this family-owned business--and seeing them go above and beyond to make it right--I'm all in for Janis and her family making it big here in the Lehigh Valley.

Strictly a Cheesesteak Review:…read more Absolutely sensational cheesesteak from Davinci's Pizzeria in Whitehall. The meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The house sliced Cooper Cheese was generously applied, as well as perfectly fried onions. The sandwich came together in Harmony on a seeded Liscio's Bakery submarine roll. You may have it toasted, which I believe is their standard or untoasted. I asked for an untoasted roll, and it was fresh as can be. Janis, who runs the show here, was an absolute delight! She answered a few questions I had with integrity and a smile. We talked about Allentown's 6th Ward and we know some of the same people. She provided me a sample of their house made fries and house dipping sauce. The dipping sauce recipe wasn't divulged, and for good reason! The fries are cut similar to a Frito Scoop, which is great for the dipping sauce! The cheesesteak was well above average, in my opinion. This steak is in the discussion for me with the elite shops in the area. The top photo is fresh at the shop. Bottom photo is after is was wrapped and brought home. I highly recommend Davinci's. I look forward to hearing other experiences. #rushieeats

It feels so good to be back, everything is just as incredible as I remember. My friends and I started with the bacon wrapped scallops, fried calamari, and escargot and garlic butter. The scallops could have used a few more minutes in the oven, but overall, the appetizers were flavorful and skillfully prepared. For dinner, I ordered the fruits de mer, one of my favorite dishes, and Henry's absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dish features a generous mix of lobster, shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat, all served in a creamy garlic sauce over linguine. My friends had the broiled cold water lobster twin tails and chicken Alfredo. The lobster was sweet, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and served with brown butter. The Alfredo was rich and creamy, with juicy, well cooked chicken. Our server, Jaime, made the evening even better. She was attentive from start to finish. I ordered an omelette, and my son had the eggs Benedict. Both dishes came out looking great, and the coffee was also surprisingly good. It had that fresh, smooth flavor that's hard to find at most breakfast spots. My omelette was a bit on the mild side, not heavily seasoned, but I actually prefer it that way. It might feel a little too bland for someone who likes bolder flavors, though. Overall, it was a pleasant breakfast and a great way to start the day. Some things were good, others were disappointing. I couldn't decide between the breakfast tacos and the G145 egg sandwich, so I got both. This was the first time I ever ordered breakfast tacos so I'm glad they were delicious! They were piled high with chorizo, scrambled eggs, tater tots, cheddar jack cheese, pico, and sour cream. The G145 egg sandwich consists of two eggs, bacon, & American cheese on a brioche bun. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the roll was soft and flavorful. My dad ordered a strip steak and eggs. He said, "it was okay, it's kind of tough". A medium rare steak should never be tough. My mom ordered two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and toast. She enjoyed the eggs and toast, but said the potatoes were awful. I had some with my sandwich and I have to agree with her. They were bland and dry. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good, but the service was substandard. Our server was super unattentive. Eating and socializing behind the bar was more of a priority than checking on her tables. I was still generous enough to tip 20%. Pickup and delivery are both available.
