This was my first stay at the Beverly hills Marriott. I have dropped off colleagues here in the past before but it was great to finally stay here. It is a little bit dated. It's also weird that there aren't any ice machines. Not sure if the ice is downstairs. Never asked about it. And the refrigerator in my room was not working which kind of was a bummer. The room was a little bit dark for my liking. Otherwise it was a good place to stay. There's a lounge for the higher bonvoy members. There's pretty good options in there. Hotel is valet only. As of now they charge $70 a night. The process to get your car was really efficient so that is something that they did well. The team members here were very hospitable. To the right of the check-in counter, there is a mini Mart that's fairly big of snacks, trinkets, alcohol and some other items that you can purchase. This is a great place to stay if you are looking to find a place in that Beverly hills area. read more

There are two kind of hotels out there. Family friendly and business friendly. I hate kids seeing a bunch of kids at a hotel because that means there is a chance that they'll end on my floor running down the hall, slamming doors and in general...getting on my nerves. When I was here I didn't hear one peep. Not one- even though I saw a bunch of kids in the lobby. The reason I stayed here is because I wanted to shop on Rodeo and take all the cheesy, cringy tourist photos. But I didn't want to stay at any where where it would be loud. This hotel is only about 15 min walk or so from Rodeo. (I wouldn't recommend you walking at night but during the day time or even early evenings like 6-7pm. I would be fine. Don't be walking around here at 10pm. You do cut through some residental neighborhoods so just be aware. No idea what Beverly Hills curfew is like so just spend the $10 and uber home if you're going to be out after 8pm. Don't forget to call your parents to tell them you're going to be late for dinner.) The staff was very friendly and even though it was busy. These guys know how to move people through.They are chatty enough to be friendly and make you feel comfortable. But not so chatty that the person behind you is sighing loudly and treating you like the 65 years old woman who is still writing checking at the grocery store. The rooms are smaller but unless you're going to be hanging out in your hotel room. It really doesn't matter. Its got great lighting in the bath room for putting on your make-up. Hot showers, great amentities like shampoos and conditioners inside the shower. I brought my own because I'm particular about the kind of stuff I put in my hair but for thos who aren't. It's one less thing you don't have to pack. The room also has a hair dryer and an ironing board, a small fridge and a safe. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back again. read more

Stayed at this Marriott and enjoyed the convenience in proximity to west LA. They have a most wonderful lounge for Marriott members which is convenient while waiting for our other friend to uber over from UCLA. Staff were all very nice to my son and I, giving us a heads up they were closing and offered more food to my hungry teenage son who was very grateful. :) Close proximity to uber over to the mall or other areas to hang out and dine. We valet parked and did our thing for the weekend. Valet and staff were all very friendly and helpful. read more

Review is just for the pool via Resortpass (Resortpass junkie here): It was a triple whammy for me: It was a beautiful Day in LA, I had just gotten done with a brutal workout, AND (best of all) I had the day off. This most definitely meant, I needed a day at the pool and I was super happy with my day visit to the Beverly Hills Marriott. Arrived around 2pm and my resortpass check in was super smooth. BH Marriott had a great deal for $40 you get access to the pool + a $30 credit for food and bev (a total steal). I immediately headed to the pool and there were quite a few folks enjoying the sun. They had about 8 lounge chairs for sunbathing, so I snagged one and roasted for a bit before heading in to place my lunch order. At the bar, I was greeted by Vas (a superstar) and placed an order for some steak frites and a Castaway cocktail. Steak frites was yummy, but the Castaway cocktail was AWESOME! Very tiki-esque, refreshing and great flavor. I could have easily had a few of these throughout the day, but they ran out after my first drink. I ended up having another gin cocktail (forgot the name) which was super good as well. I spent the day roasting in the sun, eating yummy food, having some great cocktails and having a dip or two in both the pool and hot tub (such a treat, not all hotels have one). Plus the great customer service from Vas and the crew made my day amazing! I'll happily put BH Marriott in my pool rotation. read more

This Marriott is SO MUCH BETTER than the cruddy Burton House across the street like don't even think twice about booking this Marriott in on south Beverly Drive. It's an average hotel and super crowded so that should tell you something. The rates are crazy expensive and it's just average but WAY better than the extended stay aka Burton House read more

All the staff here are great, including valet. They deserve five stars. Everyone we came across was friendly and helpful. However, this Marriott has seen better days, and I can see how it was probably a really nice spot before. The three stars are because of the condition of this Marriott. I would suggest you stay somewhere else unless all you car about is a bed to sleep in. Overall, everything just feels old and worn out. The lobby area is okay, but definitely nothing great. The room we had was really dark and worn out. Also, the shower water pressure was terrible and the shower water temperature was quite cold even with the temperature turned all the way up. This is not the valet attendants' fault, but beware valet parking is $70 / night. I think that is pretty excessive pricing given valet is the only option. Note there is a parking garage ATTACHED to the building, but they don't offer the option of self parking. I suspect it's to make sure they can pay a living wage to the valet attendants as most people would likely opt for self-parking. That said, it was always a bit awkward trying to figure out if we should tip them each time we got our car or not... definitely safer to just give a small tip, but I would hope $70 / car / night covers livable wages for them. I will say the valet attendants were really fast getting our car whenever we needed it. We won't be staying here again. While the staff is great, the building and facility is just too tired and run down. read more

Not surprised at all by all the negative reviews. This is the only hotel I've been to where the only parking option is Valet and it costs $70/day MINIMUM. This is the cost for guests and people with reservations. It's absolutely unacceptable to charge this much on top of reservation costs. read more

I was here for a short stay before an appointment at Cedars in the morning. The only option for parking is valet. $70 a night. Which that crazy cost for parking seems to be more and more standard. Upon checking in the staff was nice and showed me around. They did forget to provide my welcome gift. All of the staff are dressed in all black suits. They are trying to live up to the Beverly Hills expectation, and I think at one time the hotel probably did, but it's showing its wear. They have an M life lounge which is always a great plus. I would stay here again. The rooms were again, probably really nice at one time, but they are now worn. read more

This place is growing on me! Everyone has been very friendly other than the one person who checked me in. And even though my room doesn't have much of a view, it is extremely comfortable and clean. And most importantly, the sleep quality is great! The bed and pillows are super comfy, the climate control works well, and I don't hear my neighbors at all. I love that they have free coffee in the lobby in the morning, and different fruit infused waters available at other times. And they change them up from day to day. The pool is not particularly glamorous or huge, but the hot tub is very nice and the pool does the trick on a warm day! Best of all, this hotel is very well located so I can come and go as I need to. Westwood, Century City, and Beverly Hills are all within a few miles. So I wouldn't say this is my favorite room ever or that people must stay here, the way that I feel about the W Los Angeles in Westwood. But I'm having a nice stay and I might come again if I need to be here and the W is booked! I had a wonderful stay at the Beverly Hills Marriott. The rooms were clean, all of the staff were attentive and willing to help out whenever they could. I would absolutely stay here once again. A wonderful experience that I would love to experience again. The only negative I had was that the pool is located in a very awkward spot. Kennan is a great bartender, and the valet team, especially Armando, George, and Angel, were outstanding and helped me with all of my luggage. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff was disappointing. We had a lovely star at this Marriott. Our checking was a bit slower than typical especially given that we were pre checked in on the app but nothing too terrible. Our one bedroom suite was very clean. The M club is on the first floor which was somewhat different but not too bad of a flow. The food we partook in was quite good. A Perfect Stay During a Special Time We stayed at the Beverly Hills Marriott from June 8-20, booked a standard room, upgraded to a spacious King Suite. Despite arriving just after midnight following a long travel day, the front desk was expecting us and provided a seamless check-in -- opted for points rather than a welcome gift. Was pleasantly surprised to receive a wonderful spread of goodies when we arrived in our room. Special thanks to GM Sonesh Mool and his entire team for looking after us so well. Special mention to all the Valets, M Lounge staff, Front desk officers, and of course Housekeeping. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The staff are amazing, the property left a bit to be desired. The front desk, cleaning, and especially the valet staff were attentive and professional. However, we had issues with the technical amenities. The television lost signal repeatedly, and the upgraded Bonvoy member WiFi for $9.99 got me up to about 4 Mbps. The free Bonvoy WiFi was about 1.75 Mbps. This made it very frustrating to get any work done, and TV wasn't an option either because of the frequent signal loss. Also, there are no ice machines. You have to get a ziploc bag of ice from a freezer in the lobby. Good thing we were only on the fourth floor. Again, the people were great, but the peculiarities of the property were frustrating. read more

I was here for a work conference. The room was fine. Nothing extraordinary. The conference room was subpar. And the main reason for the lie rating was the room service. First, after a long day at work, I was looking forward to a hot meal in my room where I could enjoy and relax. I got a brown bag, filled with takeout food. Totally subpar for the price. Where is the tray? Why is my Cobb salad in a take out box. My calamari- again served in a take out box. Just gross and cold and totally not worth it. We threw it out $80 worth of food and got our selves a nice hot dinner for 1/2 the price. read more

I booked my room for a quick stay before heading to work on a project the following morning. As soon as I arrived I was immediately met by valet. I gave my information and they promptly gave me my ticket for my car, instructed me how to call to get the car the next morning, and offered immediate help with my bags. Check in was easy. Everyone was friendly and nice at the front desk. After checking in I immediately went upstairs to put my things away. My room was very clean and nice. I went back downstairs to check out the menu at the bar. Had a nice conversation with the bartender about the menu items. I eventually made my way to the M Club Lounge. Access is allowed with your room key. I didn't take pics at that moment but they had plenty of hot appetizers, snacks, and desserts. They also offer free alcoholic drinks. Not sure if you need to bring ID for that, I didn't drink. The hallways were ice cold which was perfect since it was so hot out. Both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I made it downstairs for breakfast around 7:30am. I was expecting basic pastries and beverages. I was wrong. They offered back on, eggs, and seasoned breakfast potatoes that were fresh, hot, and DELICIOUS! The had an assortment of fruit, pastries, breads, cereals, etc. everything was CLEAN and the attendant was very polite and attentive. After breakfast I gathered everything from my room to checkout. They had my car downstairs promptly. I needed ice for my cooler and they had free bags in the concession area which saved me from going to the store to buy them. My experience here was GREAT. Again the hotel was clean, the employees were friendly and answered all questions. My room was great and I actually saved money eating in the M Club Lounge. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

Came in for a short stay while having drinks in the area during a heat wave Labor Day Weekend 2022. Pleasantly surprised with the comfortable, roomy, clean, and nicely decorated room. It was a nice retreat from the heat to stay in AC when not at the pool. Bought snacks from their convenience store and veged out watching TV while we took shelter from the hot dry LA air. Another thing that stood out was their water pressure. I'm accustomed to hotel showers with no water pressure, which extends the time to wash up. Our shower in the room was great! It was roomy and had at least 3 times the pressure I'm used to. I think my shower was about a min long because once I turned the water on for a rinse, the shower head blasted away all the soap and shampoo. I know.. Funny thing for me to bring up, but it was a plus for me! read more

Stayed at the Beverly Hills Marriot for a weekend and loved it. Nice property with beautiful view of the Hollywood hills. The staff were perfect. Angel the club lounge made sure I was well taken care of and I enjoyed the coffee and hors d'oeuvres. Additionally, Vas at the bar was an amazing mixologists and made some wonderful, off menu drinks. In fact, spent a couple of nights with friends at the bar largely because of Vas' great service. Also, the Fish and Chips on the bar menu was fantastic. I also met Saif, the Assistant Front Office Manager whom was genuinely interested in the quality of my stay. Well done Saif, and the rest of the leadership team. Great customer service culture is obvious from all staff I met. Due to the great vibes and impeccable service I ended up staying an extra 2 days just to enjoy myself. Also... extremely close to world class shopping and restaurants in Beverly Hills. Would not hesitate to recommend this property and looking forward to staying there again! read more

**WARNING when valeting your vehicle ** The owner and staff of this hotel take zero responsibility for your vehicle upon valeting . Despite paying $50 a day for secure valet parking they still managed to trash my wheels and deny ANY wrong doing. As a loyal Marriott member it's very disappointing and frustrating to receive the denial of my $250 claim for the damage caused to my wheels by one of the Marriott valet attendants at the Beverly Hills Marriott . I carefully reviewed the response provided by their team, and I respectfully disagree with their decision made not to reimburse my repairs . Allow me to elaborate on the circumstances surrounding the incident so others can avoid being put in a similar situation . I provided evidence and proof of liability/ negligence to the folks at Towne Park ( owners of this particular Marriott property) in my request for reimbursement for the repairs . You can clearly see in the attached photos that my wheels were visibly damaged while under the care of your valet service. Additionally, it is worth noting that I entrusted my vehicle to their establishment with the reasonable expectation that it would be handled with care and returned to me in the same condition. As a customer, I believe it is fair to expect that the Marriott Beverly Hills valet attendants would exercise due diligence and professionalism in their duties. The fact that my vehicle was damaged while under their care of indicates a failure to meet this reasonable standard of care, which I believe should be acknowledged and rectified. My intention in filing my claim was not to create undue inconvenience or seek compensation beyond what is a reasonable refund for my repairs . My aim was to simply hold the Marriott Beverly Hills accountable for the damage caused by their valet attendant and to obtain a fair resolution to this matter. The requested amount of $250.00 represents the cost of repairing the damaged wheels, which I believe is a reasonable and justifiable claim given the circumstances. As a loyal customer of Marriott, I have always held the brand in high regard and have enjoyed numerous positive experiences. But based on this recent experience with the Beverly Hill Marriott commitment to customer satisfaction ( or lack thereof ) I can assure you i will most definitely not be returning . The property itself is nice and in a convenient location and the valet attendants were awesome, I never waited more than 5 minutes for my car. I had passed up this property for others in the area on previous trips, and now this will be my go-to. The hotel isn't super new, but it's well maintained and clean. The M club is up and running, with tasty snacks and breakfast. I had a PURE room (7th floor is for us allergy sufferers who can't deal with feathers and other irritants often found in hotels), and it was comfortable and well maintained. Super big shower as well. The best part of the stay was the really great staff. From a friendly door opening every time I returned, the fast and friendly check in to demagnetized card replacement to directions to a good morning from the maintenance crew I ran into in a hallway, to the managers who literally stand in the front lobby to greet guests. Stay as far away as you can!! This hotel is a franchise mess for a Marriott brand. Hotel check in this week of Nov 30th was great by a nice lady named Janae, she was very kind to my family. I'm not sure who is in charge since my last few stays here earlier in the year but the MANAGEMENT deff has gone down hill. Things in the room don't work properly and no one seems to be available to fix things. Housekeeping has really been a pain, it's like they have no communication between the front desk and the housekeepers! For the price they charge here I would rather stay at the Hilton down the street! read more

This is a small but great property. Conveniently located in Beverly Hills, the service is graciously kind and attentive in all aspects. There is a beautiful pool area and very bright bar. Nice hotel but no restaurant entrees. Ridiculous, it's unfortunate that they have staffing issues but not at the rate they charged. A hotel without a full service restaurant is sub-par. When we arrived, no one offered to help with our luggage. I guess customer service is not apart of this Marriott. I updated this review based on a prompt response from the Marriott. I personally loved this hotel. Such a joy to be staying close to Beverly Hills but not too close to the craziness! The ambiance of this hotel is clean, modern, and a well put together LA theme. Staff was very kind to us even though our reservation was through hopper being that we needed a quick get away Labor Day weekend! As for the rooms! SO NICE. I loved the temperature control as it was 100 degrees outside!! We were thriving in our amazing Air conditioning. The tv was huge and perfect for our movie marathon. We also got a random room with no selection and scored a view of downtown LA and the Hollywood sign. Sure it was small in the distance but what a sweet surprise! Only changes I would make is revamping the pool a bit and parking was a bit ridiculously priced. Although this was probably the best price in all of Los Angeles. $51 a night for valet and no public parking or self park. So be prepared to add that to your final tab! A wonderful hotel! We stayed here 8 days and wished we could've stayed longer! We came to Beverly Hills for my two outpatient surgeries, and stayed at the Marriott for my recovery. We got a gorgeous Wellness Room on the 7th floor. It was hypoallergenic, which means that the floor's air handler has air purifiers built into it, as does each room. It's some sort of HEPA air filter unit that looks like a 50 pint dehumidifier. The mattresses aee pillow top and are very comfortable. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, a great breakfast buffet, an outstanding restaurant with room service, a nice bar/lounge, an outdoor meditation garden, an indoor store with stuff you might've forgotten, valet services, and super friendly and helpful staff. Example: I had to ship 3 packages in c/o the Front Desk, and I got all three. We had a nice German cleaning lady on our floor who hugged us when we left Best of all it's literally walking distance to Rodeo Drive. I know. We walked there, Ubered back. What's not to love? IDK why anyone would post a negative review. They must be snobs or super picky. I only have two minor critiques: 1. The TVs are large LGs, but they are not "smart TVs", and I needed to be able to stream Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc. I forgot to bring my own FireTV stick, so I bought one and shipped it there next day. I think one improvement would be to offer streaming as an extra option, where you pay a deposit and a small fee, and they loan you a FireTV stick. That said, bring your own FireTV or ROKU dongle. It will be January 2024 before they install new smart TVs. 2. One of the elevators has a creaky sliding door with trim that needs some minor repair. That's it. Really minor stuff. This hotel is great! Close to everything in Beverly Hills. You can even hop on the Route 7 BigBlueBus and take it to downtown Santa Monica to see the Santa Monica Pier. Which was a blast. Great restaurants, cafes and delis nearby. Fosters Famous Deli, but the best was a Turkish cafe north of the hotel. Their food was fantastic. Be aware many nearby restaurants are Jewish-owned, so they close on Friday and Saturday, even Sat. night, which was inconvenient, but that's their Sabbath. So, plan on that. read more
