Our 2 night stay was a 2 Bed room on the 7th floor facing the hills of Beverly and Hollywood Hills. In the distance you could see Greystone and further away, the Hollywood sign. It was the weekend before Oscar's so there was a lot of activity but the hotel was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our room was the same and was made up each day by the housekeeping staff. Beds were comfortable and room was very quiet even as it faced the street on a Thursday and Friday night. At entry to the room your senses were greeted with a peaceful aroma. On Friday night we visited the Circa 55 Rooftop Restaurant for after dinner drinks and dessert. Surprisingly, it was not crowded at all in the early evening. We sat outside on the terrace overlooking the hills and shared a warm chocolate pudding cake and our separate Bailey's on the rocks. Had a well equipped fitness center on the lower level with a small amount of cardio equipment, dumbbells, weight machines, and fitness accessories. If 6 - 8 in the room, it can feel a bit congested but it works fine. Towels, beverage machine, fruit, etc. It was fine for us. The Concierge, Sean, was very nice and helpful as was Chad at Check-in. Everyone was kind, polite, and friendly on the hotel staff during our stay including the bell and valet staff. Note: There is a major construction project that impacts a large portion of the rooms that face that direction. Ours did not. It would be advisable to book your room with the hotel directly and request a room that is not overlooking the construction as that may impact your expectations. Took off 1 star for the construction which unfortunately appears to be a long term project. Also, the photo was from our drive to the area below the Hollywood sign it WAS NOT taken from our hotel room. You can see the sign from the room, it is noticeable, but quite small. read more

We attended an event in the Grand "International" Ballroom during the holidays. What an elegant hotel - beautifully decorated with sparkling lights and Christmas trees. The ballroom is the same one that the Golden Globes are held every year and it is beautiful. The tables set with china and crystal had an intimate feel. The table service was top notch. Our server made sure we were well attended to. The dance floor was large enough for everyone to dance the night away. And the ladies bathroom... OOOOH-LA-LA!!! When you enter, its a circular room of mirrors... all the better to see and admire yourself - LOL. It features well lit mirrors and elegant vanity areas. Very Hollywood and very glamorous! Grazyna Czerny made my stay so pleasurable! She is a consummate professional and found a solution to every challenge during this construction phase with The Beverly Hilton. The woman is extremely knowledgeable and works with grace under pressure. I found most of the staff to be warm and inviting at this hotel. I had an issue with In- room dining and my reservation at The Pool next door (Waldorf Astoria) Thank you Shawn for clearing that mishap up. My room was clean, updated and quiet. Very easy to connect with Netflix. Housekeeping staff helpful. There were some bumps in the road, but all were taken care of. This is the second review I wrote. Great customer service! We were greeted warmly throughout our stay. We used valet parking and took the car out a few times. It was always ready on time (we called ahead from our room about 15 mins in advance). But I would say the best thing was how they treated our two little dogs, who really felt at home! The cleaners arranged the dog beds we brought, including folding their blankets, and lined up their toys. One pup started greeting one of the bellhops when we walked by, because he was always so happy to see her (I wish I had his name, but know that it was appreciated!). On the way out we underestimated our capacity to carry out our stuff + two dogs, and right away 3-4 employees rushed out to help carry our bags. Any place that loves dogs wins all the points from me. And I will definitely bring them back to their favorite hotel in SoCal next time we're in town read more

I stayed at this property for New Year's Eve. While I was upgraded to a nice suite and the stay was pleasant, for the price there is room for improvement. For what I spent, I honestly should've stayed next door at the Waldorf. The "NYE meal" at Circa 55 was a disappointment. Rushed service and lack of attention. It felt as if they were more concerns with pushing guest through than delivering a memorable experience. I was also told that only the prix fixe option was available, and then watched as nearby tables ordered off the full menu. One glass of "complimentary" champagne with my dinner and never offered another cocktail. The lobster bisque's emulsion was broken and visibly oily. The petite filet was maybe 4oz. Dinner was a let down. The property was also undergoing construction which , while hinted at in the app at booking, was drastically underplayed as to the extent of inconvenience. My Uber had to circle the block twice to find a drop off "entrance," which then required me walking in through a side door, what felt like a service corridor, and some stairs before I could find the lobby. Yes, they had staff to direct me, but it set a sad tone from the start. The entire entry / departure process was so inconvenient I literally had my departing uber meet me at the Waldorf to make it less complicated. The upgraded suite was nice, but the empty space on the wall where a TV was shown in the app was a reminder of the incompleteness of the room. Amenities were lacking and bath toiletries you would expect in a luxury property were essentially absent. I recognize the property is iconic and as such, dated - in need of the makeover it is receiving. However, the experience for a major event like NYE was notably lacking in comparison to the expectations set by the properties online portrayal. Perhaps after the construction it will be worth the price and worth another chance... until then, I caution against this property - particularly considering other options in Beverly Hills. I typically enjoy every Hilton property and trust the brand, but in this case, Hilton could do far far better. read more

Today we had afternoon tea at the Hilton. There were so many pastries: mousse, sushi, sandwiches, and scones. We were so full afterward that we didn't need dinner. The sweet and sour shrimp and mango salad tasted a bit strange, but the shrimp was very fresh, so it was pretty good. The English black tea was delicious and went well with the small cakes. Drinks are refillable, which is a great deal, haha ​​ We didn't get a window seat this time, but I felt the view from the Hilton wasn't as good as the Sofitel. The hotel is under construction so many procedures have been altered. Nicky at the front desk checked me in and made me feel welcomed. He took the time to answer my questions in full. 5 stars to Nicky who was helpful throughout my 3 night stay. Salvatore showed me to my room with my luggage. Sal Demonstrated how lights work, adjusted thermostat to make the room cool and set my suitcase on luggage rack. Sal also made sure my refrigerator was on cool, demonstrated other amenities in room. Made sure tv worked and put on local news for me. I was set! Fast, efficient, and very pleasant. Shawn at the concierge desk was a true asset and a delightful professional. Problem solver! Made great suggestions. Shawn Cleared up a pool reservation over at the Waldorf Astoria for me. I had stayed at the Waldorf last month and some of their employees are rough around the edges. The concierge at the Waldorf was a snob and talked down to people. His navy slacks did not match his navy jacket! He brought me up to the pool area during my stay at the Hilton. My reservation was not in the computer and the pool greeter did not handle the situation well. I took a lounge and a manager approached me, gave him my name and facts of the matter, situation cleared up. Thank you Shawn! The housekeeping staff conscientious. On the whole everyone was very helpful. One bad apple works at the restaurant on the 8th floor. I could not connect with in room dining on my phone. Got dressed and went down to front desk for help. The women at the front desk ( excellent, she has a European accent.) called up to the restaurant and asked of she could put me on the phone so I may place my breakfast/coffee order and have it delivered to my room. The women on the 8th floor refused to help me. The manager came out and went up there to address the matter. Luckily Starbucks is just across Santa Monica and Wilshire. The employees are doing their best with the exception of 2 that I encountered. One is at the front desk, tall dark young man who needs training. Night shift. read more

I have to say I received exceptional service from Charles at the front desk and David at valet. The Beverly Hilton is one of the most iconic hotels. I mean it's where everyone who has anyone has ever been. I believe the Golden Globes are held there. I don't know a single celebrity who's not been photographed at the Beverly Hilton. They've got several places where you can eat and have drinks cute gift shops with the most interesting things and fun like little trinkets that you definitely want to take home. I wanted to buy some stuff, but I'm like I live here. What am I trying to do... Anyhow, every single staff member that I encountered had a smile on their face was friendly personable, and generally in a good mood and that's very rare to find these days and I know I talk about that a lot, but it is hard to find and that's exactly what you need to make you feel comfortable and welcome and want to come back and that's exactly what I will be doing! read more

With the vast amount of hotels in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, there isn't many places that are iconic with as much history as "The Beverly Hilton". Ever since its grand opening back in 1955, this has been the prime location for the annual Golden Globe awards, motion picture events, and other major gatherings that bring in well-known stars from around the world. This place is not small as it sits on 9 acres of land. And with it brings 7 total floors with nearly 600 rooms in all sizes. Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, it lies at the intersection of Wilshire Blvd/Santa Monica Blvd. I made my reservation through a travel app roughly 2 weeks prior to coming here. Everything was straightforward and efficient. Check-in time was at 4:00pm and we arrived shortly after during the afternoon of Saturday 7/27/2024. I do want to point out that (during 2024), there is NO self-parking but rather valet only. The flat rate is $65 where they will park your vehicle in the underground parking garage. I also want to mention that this hotel is going through a major renovation and overhaul that eventually will be completed by 2027-28 and right before the 2028 Summer Olympics (that will be held in Los Angeles). This includes a better entrance (as the signs can be a bit confusing for many) and many more upgrades that will eventually take shape in the months and years to come. Check-in process was also quite simple as I gave them my credit card (on file), showed them my ID, and the front desk clerk handed us two key cards. What I particularly like about this hotel is that check-out time is not until 12pm. The bellboy also loaded our luggage and took it up to our room. As far as the room we got, it was a deluxe size complete with a king size bed, dining area w/chairs, 65" TV, mini fridge, closet w/two bathrobes/slippers, charging stations in both night stands, iPad for hotel information, and snacks/drinks/beer/spirits for purchase. Our room also came with a balcony w/lounge chairs and a fairly nice view of the city. The bathroom itself came equipped with several lighting options, glass doors to the shower/toilet, a dispenser that includes body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, a heavy duty hairdryer, vanity mirror w/lighting, and multiple towels. Going back to the hotel itself, this place is absolutely HUGE. On the ground level, they offer an indoor fitness center complete w/showers, state-of-the-art machines, filtered water, and other amenities. You will also notice a heated pool (named the Oasis) that is on the ground level that offers drink service, multiple lounge chairs, and cabanas. And on the roof level is the exclusive "CIRCA 55 Rooftop Restaurant + Lounge" that offers high-end breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner options with amazing panoramic views of the city. In addition to all of these features, this hotel offers themed music nights, corporate events, ballroom dancing, meetings, and even weddings. Our stay was a pleasant one and I fell asleep within minutes on the king-size pillowtop mattress with 1100 thread count sheets. I am not someone that goes to the super high end spectrum when it comes to hotels but I got a very good deal (AAA + government discounts) that I just couldn't pass up. The entire staff (receptionist, valet employees, bellboy, room service, and bar/restaurant employees) were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. I definitely will stay here again and can't wait to see how impressive the renovations will be. With that said and done, I am giving "The Beverly Hilton" a respectable and above average four stars. read more

Stayed at The Beverly Hilton for a work event and had a really pleasant experience. I believe my room was in one of the newer towers--it felt recently renovated, with a spacious layout, stylish decor, and a clean, modern bathroom. There was even an outdoor terrace, which was a nice touch, though not much of a view. The hotel itself is large and well-equipped with everything you might need--great for both business and leisure stays. I used the gym a few times (plenty of machines/equipment), and also stopped by the hotel bar and restaurant. Service throughout was friendly and professional. One big plus is the location--it's within walking distance of Westfield Century City, which has tons of dining and shopping options. There's also easy access to Beverly Hills and surrounding areas if you're looking to explore. Between the updated rooms, amenities, and convenient location, it's a solid spot whether you're in town for work or a more relaxed visit. read more

I have to say when you stay at the Beverly Hilton you don't expect the havoc and craziness that was going on there. They were setting up for an event so you had to park on the back side of the hotel in valet valet was a total nightmare. You then went down a hall by the Waldorf up in elevator down through the hallway as you dodged all the activities going on being set up to get to the check-in. That evening my girlfriend left the hotel and we called down to valet. She waited 45 minutes for her car to be brought around no apology no explanation. The next day when I left, I had the judge the same maze. The elevator was out so to get the valet. I had to go through a food service area and on top of that we were charged $65 per car for valet. Not the kind of standards you would expect from the Beverly Hilton. Lastly, I called to talk about my $130 charge and was told manager would give me a call back and I never got called back. Pay the extra money stay at one of the other Beverly Hills locations. You'll be a lot happier. read more

Checked into the iconic Beverly Hilton hotel for a last minute plan. There is a major renovation in progress at the hotel but that did not negatively impact our experience. I was warmly greeted at at check in reception and my diamond status was acknowledged and appreciated. I was upgraded to an executive suite which had a wrap around terrace and nice sitting area. Thanks Jason - appreciate the gesture ! Our Room was in the Wilshire Tower of the hotel which is the new upgraded tower with remodeled rooms. The hotel and pool areas are immaculate and I had a very relaxing night stay. There was a slight issue and our diamond membership breakfast credits were missed but Albert was very helpful in resolving this for us. So much history in this hotel! Close to Rodeo Drive and Century City. Parking is costly, but it is a private garage on property. The lobby is huge and has a classy look to it. I was lucky to stay here for a corporate event. My room was a Deluxe King Room with a balcony view of the pool area. Mini-fridge, waterfall shower, and complimentary waters were a great touch. The placement of outlets at the bed-side are very thoughtful and smartly placed. The flat screen TV unfortunately didn't have streaming capability, but it did have access to movies that were currently playing in theaters! read more

My wife and I stayed one night at The Beverly Hilton after a weekend event, hoping for a relaxing getaway--but the experience was anything but restful. The hotel sits directly beside a massive construction site, and at or just before 7 am on SUNDAY, jackhammers, beeping trucks, alarms, and general construction noise began--and never stopped. The clatter was so incessant that we couldn't enjoy our balcony (where multiple large vehicles were parked and idling directly below), nor could we sleep. I called the front desk to complain; the agent promised a manager would call me back, but after 90 minutes of listening to loud backing noises, no one reached out. When I called again, the agent seemed to think I was asking for a late checkout--completely ignoring the construction issue--even after I stepped onto the balcony so she could hear the racket. Finally, Mr. Sandoval the manager called--and his solution was to send us ear buds. For a $500+ room, that felt profoundly disrespectful. To their credit, the hotel ultimately comped us an extra night, but by then the damage was done. No one mentioned the ongoing construction at booking, and the "view" was of parking lot machinery, not the glamorous palm trees you see in photos. Terrible communication, zero transparency, and certainly not the peaceful retreat we paid for. I can't recommend The Beverly Hilton unless you enjoy an alarm-clock made of heavy machinery. read more

Now I have a house in LA, I do not stay in LA hotels anymore. A little while ago*, my best from Germany invited me for breakfast - and I was once again shocked by both quality and service attention. I had the breakfast sandwich with extra bacon which was the soggiest I have seen in years. I could not touch it. The restaurant manager came to our table and chatted with Mrs. Anders, obviously looking at my plate - and left without caring. Then, the waiter asked if he may clear the table - and shrugged at my comment "Sorry, I could not eat that". I understand and appreciate (a) the Anders family emotional attachment and (b) the way you took care of the family during their stay in a brutal construction zone with a pool area that drove them out of the house, but I other than like years before, where I put all my artists and media guests in your hotel, I can barely recommend a stay in your hotel and, worse, the restaurant, as any of my past experiences were sub-par, to say it politely. * I wrote this the day after my breakfast and sent it to the hotel manager I had met the day before, trying to hear an apology and see what they would do to improve. I used to love this place and used it as my secondary home for months, so I sent it three times. No response - shows how right I was with my opinion that they lost it. So sad. read more

I just returned home from a two-night stay at The Beverly Hilton. I brought my daughter for her 22nd birthday and we chose a double deluxe room with a terrace in the Wilshire Tower. Though I was aware the hotel was undergoing construction, I was not prepared. The first room we were given was on the 4th floor overlooking a massive dirt hole facing Santa Monica Boulevard. I couldn't deal with it. I called the front desk and we were moved to a room on the 2nd floor opposite side. This time we were on the roof so there was no view to be had. This was disappointing for by the price you pay and it's definitely not what I anticipated. The positives though... The hotel is nothing short of iconic Beverly Hills. The rooms are well appointed, staff all very friendly, room service is good and you will see celebrities. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the experience. read more

I can't say enough good things about the iconic Beverly Hilton. I have been staying there for years and despite the current construction around the property, it continues to impress. I just completed a nine-day stay following a couple of relatively minor surgical procedures and the entire staff bent over backwards to meet my every need (of which there were several!). The makeshift bar/restaurant area on the eighth floor felt anything but "makeshift." Truth be told, It is a more inviting space than the previous lobby bar. The views are spectacular and the vibe is very enjoyable all hours of the day. While the noise from the construction can be annoying at times, it was never a real issue and certainly didn't take away from the overall experience of my stay. As always, I highly recommend the Beverly Hilton and its ideal location! read more

A classic and classy hotel that is getting over Billion Dollar update. I can't wait to see the results. Sad to see the chic pool area go, but by the description of the gardens and new pool area that will embrace the skyline, I'd love an invite to see the grand reopening. This is a timeless Hilton property that was due for updates. The new rooms should have windows to help with noise from the roads below and insulation from the sun. As it stands I would stay here anytime. I couldn't hear any construction and staff are always attentive and kind. I truly appreciate being treated like my last name is Hilton. I look forward to extended hours from the lobby bar and roof top restaurant. We frequented both and it was so nice to relax. Circa 55 was a delightful experience and Mike took such immaculate care of us. He is truly a diamond in the rough. Thank you to all the staff who took care of our needs. We stay at Hiltons when we can, and this is usually a great place to stay. However, the construction made it less enjoyable: no pool and quite a bit of noise by 8am. Pro tip: do NOT take a room overlooking construction. We fortunately had a view room, and we enjoyed the rooftop bar each night. read more

We booked our reservation through Southwest Airlines in order to get some extra Southwest points. There were no problems with getting our room. Room 6229 in the older Oasis section: Typical hotel room. King size bed, TV, mini-refrigerator, small safe, hair drawer.... The hair dryer was glitchy. Also, if you want a coffee maker, you need to ask for one. Bed: Decent king bed with average linens. Lines were clean. Housekeeping: Upon arrival we were greeted by a large piece of dental floss in the entry of our room and dirt and hair in the sink. We left a tip for the housekeeper, and our room was wonderfully serviced the next day. Bathroom: Smaller, older bathroom. Ventilation was sub-standard. Water pressure in the shower was horrible. Service: Employees were attentive and helpful. Forgot a toothbrush on this trip. Called the front desk and asked for one. We were promptly given two quality Oral B toothbrushes with toothpaste and mouthwash. And other encounters with employees were positive. Noise/Sleep experience: very quite hotel with an excellent sleep experience. Value: at $460/night after taxes, the hotel isn't worth the price. But if you need to stay in Beverly Hills for business, it's not a bad price. Internet: The free wifi is not fast. Ran an Nperf test and it measured 30 Mb/s down and 17 Mb/s up. So if you need bandwidth for remote work, the free wifi probably won't suffice. Misc.: We had great difficulty getting an Uber at 6:00 a.m. on the day we departed. We tried for 10 minutes and couldn't get an Uber (at various service levels) to pick us up. Fortunately there are good, old-fashioned cabs available on short notice for this hotel. read more

Our driver had difficulty finding this hotel as it sits off the main drag. Once you arrive you don't see the hotel name clearly posted either. I was expecting more curb appeal, it's nice yet modest. The lobby did have beautiful fresh flowers and a sense of elegance with the lighting etc. our room was pretty average, disappointing given the name and history. The view was a lot with bulldozers. The toilet terrible, slow barely flushing. Room had outdated feel structurally yet still tasteful and bed comfortable. Had brunch in their Circa 55 poolside restaurant which was a special tasty highlight, nice variety and quality offerings. Pool area beautiful. Just expected more overall. read more

Beverly Hills Hilton is awesome. Never ever dreamed of staying here over night to attend a graduation party of my girlfriends best friend from UCLA. We had full of Champaign, and some of the best seafood and different cuisines of the world. Hilton has nice comfy beds and clean linen to sleep on. Love the view outside the window of the city. Incredible staff and service here. I will plan some parties, and maybe my wedding here. read more

I usually don't rate hotels, until our stay is over, but MARK, a specialist at this exclusive, historic property on Wilshire Boulevard, made sure that everything will be perfect. He was patient, genuinely friendly, and appreciative even though I asked a plethora of questions, to ensure that our first stay at this location will be quite memorable...in a wonderful way!
