I was at the nail salon today with my regular lady, DAO. Whom claims to be always so busy so my appointments are all 3 weeks in advance. Which is fine! Yet again takes 2 to 3 hours every time to get my nails done. To paying A LOT of money on services. Beverly nails salon has so many colored samples that are ALWAYS seems way different than the actual color you'll pick. Which is a huge disappointment! However that's not the biggest disappointment! The biggest and most outrageous disappointment here is the behavior of some of the people that work for Beverly nail salon! Staff members are HIGHLY rude and make you ALWAYS feel so uncomfortable! Either when speaking to one another in their own language on top of you or laughing in your face. When I walked in today, first thing Dow asked me was "you want someone else to do your nails?" Which made me already feel a bit weird and I didn't understand why. After I waited for 3 weeks for this appointment. I told her no, why? She didn't answer. Then, I chose my color and turned out that it was WAY different than what I have chosen and she agreed. So I picked another one which happened to be the same issue. After she did one hand while trying to get used to it, and make life easy. I couldn't see myself going in to labor with this color because it was WAY too dark for my skin. Also the fact that I won't be able to go get my nails done for a long time after this time. That wasn't taken to a consideration. It was judged that "I am problematic" or that "I am rude and picky". Sorry, I am paying for services to get judged and disrespected in every way possible! I told Dow that I dislike the color and I'd like to change it. She got VERY upset with me and kept saying "but I told you" literally yelling at my face. Not to mention that I am a high risk at 8 months to my pregnancy!! She then told me she cannot change the color because she won't make it to her next appointment. She again spoke to this lady Jenny in their language again. So I asked her to find someone else to do it. At this point, I don't have anything on my nails. She replied that no one wants to do my nails because they are scared of me. I was and still am completely shocked!!! I wasn't yelling, I wasn't rude, I was very gentle with my voice and expressed my feelings. After an hour and half of sitting there she told me to go to a different salon! I left the place feeling so down and disrespected. I really didn't do ANYTHING wrong aside from say i don't like the color. I don't understand why I got treated this way! However! This is AMERICA you treat your customers with respect. It's not about the color that goes on my nails! It's about humanity and understanding. Seems like Dow has an issue with all her customers saying they are difficult. If you respect yourself, avoid this spot because they will make you feel LOW! They will literally YELL at you! Like everything is your fault. They have excuses for everything and the blame will go on you if you have any issues that needs to be addressed! That's not a business to respect their place or your value. There's a TON of good nail salons around that will value you as a customer, your time, and your money. read more

I am writing this review in utter disbelief and anger regarding my recent nail salon experience. Every time I visit a nail salon, I go out of my way to show them a picture and explain exactly what I want, along with confirming the total price for all the requested services. This is done so that I know what to expect at the end of my service. I am more than willing to pay a fair price for high-quality nails, and I never hesitate to pay extra for intricate or extravagant designs. However, my recent encounter left me seething with frustration. From the very beginning, I showed my technician a picture and clearly stated my desired outcome, and she initially quoted a price of $40. But just as we were about to proceed with the design, she suddenly mentioned that it would cost $60 total to add the design. I was taken aback and couldn't believe what I was hearing. I clearly showed her the picture and explained my expectations, and she assured me of the $40 price initially. I am unsure whether it was her inability to execute the design or a deliberate attempt to deceive me, but this unexpected change in price was unacceptable. To make matters worse, during my last visit, I had a fantastic experience. I opted for a highly detailed full set, starting with my natural nails, and the technician quoted me $70 for the service. She did an exceptional and amazing job, and I left feeling satisfied and excited to come back and bring my friends and family because service was great. The fact that I was given a clear quote from the beginning made the experience even better. However, my most recent appointment with Zelda (I believe her name was) turned out to be a complete nightmare. Zelda not only failed to deliver the desired design, but she also filed my nails crooked, that couldn't be fixed no matter how many attempts were made to fix. Additionally, all my nails ended up bumpy, which further added to my disappointment. As if these issues weren't enough, she had the audacity to change the price mid-service and then charged me an additional $5 at the end simply because I requested one black nail. I was dumbfounded. Overall, I can confidently say I won't be returning to this salon. It saddens me to write such a negative review, as I typically reserve reviews for extraordinary circumstances. My initial experience here was great, but this recent visit was entirely avoidable and baffling. I am attaching pictures of what I received versus what I had requested, just to illustrate the sheer disappointment and frustration I feel. I sincerely hope that the salon management takes note of this review and addresses these issues promptly. No customer should ever be subjected to such unprofessional behavior, subpar workmanship, and a sudden price hike during the service. It's a shame that a once-promising salon experience turned into an absolute disaster. read more

Today 3/16/23 I visited Beverly Nail Salon in Georgetown TX. I was there for a scheduled pedicure and unfortunately it was the absolute worst experience ever! Rose my technician was sweet and did a good job until she came back from the hallway with the hot wax treatment for my feet! She did not check the temperature of the wax before she began to dip my right foot into the bag of extremely hot wax!! I yelled get it off of me my foot is burning!! she apologized and apologize I know it was an accident but there was definitely negligence on her part and the part of the salon .Rose began to tell me that the wax warmer is always on the low temperature but she just checked it and it was turned up to high!! She told me she turned it completely off. while I had the cold water running on my foot for some time there was another lady that came over to look at my foot and try and peel off the wax.She offered to redo my wax treatment ... I told her are you kidding me she just burned my foot!!! She said don't worry its not that hot. I'm in disbelief not only was the incident itself traumatic, but the way the salon handled it was also disappointing .When I went to the front desk there was no concern for my well-being, and there was no compensation offered . I am completely disappointed by their lack of professionalism and care demonstrated by their management team. Maggie at Beverly Nail Salon is amazing! My go-to is a solid color dip, and she nails it perfectly every time. If there's something you don't like or you want to make a change, she's super accommodating and works with you until your nails are exactly how you want them. She takes her time and ensures every detail is flawless. Maggie also does fantastic eyebrow waxing. The key is to communicate exactly what you want--she'll make it happen. Such an awful place the people here are so judgmental and disrespectful. You ask for something and they do something totally different. I dropped off my sister and went back to pick her up when she told me they were being rude. When I got there my sister was crying, after they had told her the nails she wanted weren't going to look good on her and supposedly were to expensive. I only get My nails done and pedicures. But they offer other services like waxing and eyelashes and I believe a few more. I've always had great service here And I enjoy the time I get with Diana.
