Had come in with acrylics on after I've had 2 consecutive sets ( original set, then one fill) - I've been trying to grow out my nails. I have bitten them for years! When I came back in expressing I wanted to use my natural nail and not any acrylic nail extensions, the staff was dedicated to being matriculate and careful taking off my acrylic set. They made sure NONE of my real nails broke, and helped get acrylic setting and gel polish onto my natural nails. They look AMAZING and I couldn't be happier with the service or result. 5/5 100%, and I would recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone! read more

You can tell she is so talented and I love how my nails turned out each time. my first set I asked for a simple design and the second time I asked for flowers for an event I was attending. This place is horrible now! Liam is no longer there & they overcharge for everything. I got a pedicure ($60) & a full set for my daughter's graduation. I went in as soon as they opened because I work overnights. I was there for almost 5 hours...I was the only one there for the first 2 hours. The technician that did my nails, would leave to go outside & smoke several times & just left me sitting there. I asked that he do my nails exactly how I'd had them done the last time I was there & Liam did them for me. He left acrylic under my nails & paint all over my fingers, cut me several times & then charged me $200 for everything. This is supposedly with the 20% off for my birthday discount that was applied. Not worth the time or the money... They can't stay open long charging that much for work that looks like a child did them. read more

For a last minute pedicure, they were able to get my gf and I in right away. Tina did my pedicure and she was great. My gf was a little jealous because she said it seemed like she massaged my feet a little bit more. I would definitely be going back. Prices are reasonable. I didn't get color because I just wanted my feet to feel good. My gf got color on her toes and she was happy with the results. I didn't need the water or wine. I went with my friend and they seated her first to get her acrylics started, I sat next to her for an hour before the came over and started on my nails. The technician was super rude and kept telling me to move to another spot so she could sit next to her friends and talk. When I asked to do it where I was next to my friend you could clearly tell she was talking badly about me. I got a super simple gel polish and it turned out reallyy bad too. She didn't go back to end of the nail so they already look grown out and she didn't even clean up the edges of my nails. I had to ask her to clean it up and even then it looks terrible. The worst part is their service cost $30. That is crazy expensive for the type of product you get at this place. Please save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I stopped into ProNail in Hutto ...which is next to the Goodwill in the Home Depot plaza area. They were able to see me right away for a pedi. A lady named Angela did my pedi. She did an excellent job & took her time & got all the calluses & gave a very relaxing foot massage. She trimmed my nails just like I asked. She was very polite & sweet & brought me a bottle of cold water. I will be going back soon. read more

I went to this place because my normal salon is under maintenance and my nails were in desperate need for a fill. I had a design I wanted done and they said they could do it. The design looked nothing like the picture. I know that it wouldn't look exactly like the image but they weren't even close to similar. And on top of that the paint wasn't dry and it smeared the design all down my nails. I had to pay $27 for messed up, smeared nails that weren't what I wanted. Although the experience wasn't the best, my complaint was handled with the utmost care, respect and sincerity. I will be giving Pro Skin & Nails another chance in the future. I'm a runner and for years I have not been to a place where they actually take the time to remove my dead skin. this may sound gross but I can take a bucket of dead skin off my feet with just one pedicure and that's every two weeks. Such a great place!! I live in South Austin but was spending a Sunday afternoon with my niece(6 yrs. old) who lives in Hutto. Our plan for the day was to go to lunch, go back to school shopping and then go get mani/pedis. I am not familiar with the places in hutto but saw pro nails and skin in the shopping strip center and went on in. They asked what they could do, and I asked for a pedicure for me and a "kid pedicure" for my niece. They smiled, told us to pick our colors and come sit down. I sat down and then looked across from me, where my niece was sitting, and realized they had pedicure chairs specifically for kids(that even has a portable DVD player attached with cartoons playing! Sooooo awesome! My niece loved it, was super relaxed and felt extremely pampered. All the employees were really nice to me and so sweet to my niece and the place was so clean. I too really enjoyed my pedicure. My niece had her nails and toes painted in really fun colors and even added designs to them. She loved it so much that when I took her home, she told her mom that "we need to go back there mom!" ;) I will most definitely go back when I'm in the Hutto area. :) Ps: I will try to remember and upload some pictures of the cool kid chairs when I'm on my computer and not the iPad. read more

I LOVE this place! i was a former customer under the old management and was quite hesitant to try this place again, even when I heard there is a new owner, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. Now I go here all the time. The facility is clean and it makes me so happy that I can see them clean the pedicure bowls with soap and scrub after every customer. They even have kids' pedicure massage chairs with a portable dvd player to keep kids entertained. This was definitely helpful when I brought my little cousin with me, otherwise she would've whined about being bored the entire time. The have a great selection of colors and gels. The people there are all so sweet and professional, offering complimentary beverages as you relax during your pedicure. I don't always like to go to salons to get my nails done and sometimes prefer to do them myself because of the sanitation issue, but I love that I can trust Pro Nails & Skin because I can physically see that they sanitize everything. The tools are sanitized, the towels are bleached after every use, the pedicure bowls are scrubbed after every customer, the hot towels are replaced often so they're not just sitting in the warmer collecting more bacteria, etc. I'm so happy I gave this place another try. It's nice being pampered and not having to try to be a contortionist to do my own pedicure! read more

I do business in Hutto, and took a chance on a brand new nail salon on the recommendation of someone. I am extremely picky and needed a full set. I was treated to the best set of nails that I have ever received from Thau. She was technically excellent and had some good suggestions for the shape and color that I chose. She used gels instead of solar or standard acrylic. They have held up for three weeks beautifully. They are not busy and have awesome customer service. It's worth the trip! read more

My best friend and I just moved to Taylor. For a formal event, we decided we would go get solar nails. I had seen the salon when I stopped at Goodwill and Home Depot and decided to give them a call. On the phone they were simply wonderful, and I felt comfortable trying them out. Traffic from Austin turned out to be horrible and we were running late, so I called ahead to let them know that we will be a little bit later than we had hoped. I was double charged for a service, when I went back to dispute the transaction, I was told by David he would refund me the amount in a gift card. When I told him no, I would like my money refunded in cash or through my debit card, he became very upset and started arguing with me. Another female worker came up to see what the issue was and when he told her I wanted a refund she too became upset and finally gave me the cash back by throwing it at me. Very unprofessional. I understand they probably didn't mean to double charge but that was not the appropriate way to handle the problem. Never returned. read more
