I used to use Beverly's for everything applicable when I lived in the area. I've always had great service and if you can make it there during work hours during the week there's hardly ever a wait. When I moved to California, I went to transfer my car title down here and suddenly realized I had absolutely no idea where it was. The kicker, I obviously had to obtain a replacement from Washington where I purchased the car. I called Beverly's and they were extremely helpful and willing to do this out of state by mailing some stuff in. I am inexperienced and naive, so I messed up the paperwork TWO SEPARATE TIMES ( I know), and they were still so nice and helpful. They paid to send stuff back and held onto things for me so we weren't playing mail tag. I finally got my title today and I had to come on here and write this. Unfortunately the doctor's office filled out conflicting information on our forms, but this office offered us a temporary parking permit till we could het the forms refilled out by our doctor. Horrible! Going here is a total waste of time and effort. They are completely incompetent and unfamiliar with the workings of auto licensing. My ex husband moved to Canada and wanted to give his 10yr old car to our kids to drive to high school. It had Canadian registration. I had all the paperwork and a notarized letter from my wasband. The woman at bev's has no concept of an amicable, divorce or good coparenting. She snatched my paperwork out of my hand and declared the car stolen to my utter amazement. It ended with a letter of apology to me from the DMV, which I had not expected, but was a nice touch. Never ever use Beverly Auto licensing. It was definitely this location. read more

I have been here in the past and don't remember having an issue...until this morning. I didn't get the name of the woman at the third desk from the left who was available when I arrived trying to get a duplicate title to my vehicle but I wish I had. She looked miserable and came across as if she didn't want to do her job. I tried be pleasant to her and got no reaction at all; zero personality. When I asked her to clarify something she had said, she looked annoyed that I asked. There was no thank you or have a good day when I left. Trying to transfer Title to my daughter who lives in Everette WA. So far a lot of mistakes and poor performance from BALA. Did not check that All doc's were in order. Did not provide proper solutions for Washington dept. of Licensing, Does not answer phone calls, Did not return phone calls. Did take my money promptly. I don't recommend their service. I recommend to use a different company if you want things done right. I wonder if the reason they don't answer their phone or return call is that they are dealing with allot of mistakes. read more

Zero, zero stars! They don't know the law and are saying incorrect things each time I visit. At my last visit, I was trying to sell my car with a salvage title, but they were telling me that the buyer needs to go to State Patrol before buying. How is a buyer supposed to take a car they do not yet own to State Patrol? I tried to clarify multiple times but they were set on their answer. I ended up going to the Mill Creek office where they handled the transfer without any issues and didn't send the buyer to State Patrol. I felt really offended, especially because people around me were laughing because I had to ask them 4 times about how can a buyer take a car they don't own to State Patrol. Even the buyer, who was with me, was trying to clarify with them to no avail. I will never return to this office. read more

Very rarely can you go here and be served in less than 2 minutes. Although it has happened to me. On this visit everything was normal for this very popular licensing spot. I'm out in less than 15 minutes with people lined up back to the doorway when I arrived. These employees here are helpful and knowledgeable. Amy helped me with registration renewal for my sons motorcycle. She is even going to mail the registration and tabs to him in Camp Pendleton. I have been coming to this location for my car tags since moving to the area, and I really have no reason to try anywhere else. I have always had pleasant experiences with the staff, without issue, and generally things move quickly once you get to the window. That said, it can be a wait to be served. Don't get me wrong, this is NOTHING compared to what I was used to going to the DMV in California (even with an appointment), but the line is often out the door when I am there. I obviously don't go often enough to make any serious claims about when they are busiest, but I have had the best luck arriving about 10-15 minutes before they open. Drinking a little coffee while I wait and watching other people arrive is better than standing in a long line. Doing this I am usually either first or second in line, and on many occasions the line has been out the door by the time I have left. For mail services, they have always processed my tabs sooner than expected. read more

Don't be fooled by the tiny space and shared office when u walk in. These people are fast and efficient! Came here to renew my tabs today and I didn't expect to be happy with the experience at all. Boy was I wrong XD I always have an assumption that licensing offices around their closing time would be packed and the line would be long - this I was right about. However the line move much quicker than I expected and with around 8 people a head of me with only 20 min til closing, I almost left. But my expired tabs kept me hoping that I would be helped. Surprisingly it was my turn in around 10 min! They do have an extra agency fee for different services though. To avoid fee better do things online.. but I was desperate. The girl helping me wasn't very nice at first, she kind of had an attitude but I thought of how many people were in line and she had dealt with ppl all day long, so I gave her a compliment and she looked a bit better :) Service was fast and because of that I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Went by to pick up my tabs. Paid online. Just needed to grab them and go. Had to wait in a line for about 20 minutes. As anyone who has ordered and paid for tabs online, most places have a dedicated line for internet order pickup. Why? Because it takes less than a minute to process while services like title transfer take longer to both explain and process. Not ideal but I was just going to take this as a lesson and not come back here again to pick up tabs, but..... As I was waiting, they reached closing time and it was later than 5 PM. The woman who helped me said I was done and she would be right with me (meeting me at the front door). Turns out, they had LOCKED the doors with a physical key. Not option to unlock from the inside. So there I am with another 12-15 people in this narrow space locked in with no fire egress. How is that legal? How is that good for the customer to have completed their transaction with no means of egress? I did ask the woman who eventually let me out how that was not a fire code violation, but she didn't answer. Just bizarre. read more

My Husband bought our tabs online from this place... a month later and we still hadn't received them. So he called them to see what the deal was. Their response was, "we don't get our mail either." Seriously. Not helpful. They wouldn't re-send them so I had to bring my one year old to the physical office, after my husband had to call two more times to try to get it sorted out. The office itself is very tiny and cluttered. The staff isn't very friendly. They tried to charge me the reprint fee, even though someone named Amy told my Husband over the phone they would waive the fee. So I ended up not having to pay the fee. I did think it was weird they already had our tabs ready to go, seemed like they never mailed them in the first place. Also there was a few other people there when I was for the same thing, they didn't receive their tabs. Kinda strange they want to charge everyone a reprint fee for tabs they most likely aren't mailing out in the first place. In all, take your business someplace else. This place is a joke. read more

An error was made with the VIN number and my car title many years ago, so I came in to get it corrected. Cheri, a very friendly and helpful worker, walked me through the process and told me step by step on how to get it all situated. After I took my car to get the VIN number inspected, Cheri happened to be the lady at the window to help me again. The whole procedure took a while, but Cheri always had a smile on her face while helping me. It's wonderful workers like her that make unfortunate situations better. No, the employees were not smiley or chatty, but you could tell they were focused on their job and were there to get it done. I was there for a title transfer and new plates. I got there at 3 pm and was 3rd in line. The line moved very fast and soon I was being helped. I'd brought along my current title and my WA drivers license. The woman behind the counter asked for my current mileage (which I had to run outside to get). After that, I signed my name a couple times, wrote a check, and was handed my new plates! Easy as that! The person who helped me was extremely nice and very helpful. The actual process took maybe 6 minutes. All told I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I would highly recommend. Great customer service. The DOL during the first or last weeks of each month are always horrid but when you have 5 employees behind the counter, 3 teller windows: 1 is manned, 1 is empty, and the other window has 3 employees working with a single customer (who is apparently a friend of someone behind the counter), and the line is OUT THE DOOR, it makes the trip even more painful. ...And then when you get your new registration and new tabs home and you realize that they forgot to give you an updated month sticker for your plates and you have to GO BACK so that your registration matches your plates... Not my idea of fun. I've had much better service from this location before. read more

I believe everyone that works the windows needs to be on the same page. The first woman that I spoke to was very nice and helpful and informed me I needed a new omissions test to register my vehicle. Being out of state I did not know that so she was helpful in letting me know the steps I need to take to register my vehicle that day. When I came back I went to another lady who said I can't register it because the price is written in not typed in.This was not what I was told from the other lady to windows down from her. The second woman that I spoke to was very rude and interrupted me when I was trying to inform her of the situation. I went down to the DMV and got it taken care of right away. I would not go here to register or renew my tabs again just because of the one woman's attitude. read more
