I've been using Julie's Licensing since 2021 and have had an outstanding experience each time. She helped me register a car when we moved back to Washington, to get UW plates for my truck, and to help register a new car in the state while I was stationed in Virginia. I'm in the military and keep Washington as my residence, I recently bought a car in Virginia and she helped me register it in Washington through the mail. We went through the steps on the phone, mailed the forms, and had my plates and new registration a week later. Her licensing process is easy, fast, and thorough. I can't say I've ever been genuinely excited about a car registration/licensing experience, and definitely never thought I'd ever be jazzed enough to write a review for one, but this place is amazing. I moved from another state and had to get my WA plates, and frankly was dreading it based off of the red tape, endless lines, rudeness, and insane amount of time I was used to in other states - however, if I'd known how delightful this experience was going to be, I would've done this so much sooner! From the first call I made asking what information they needed to them offering a screw driver so I can put on my new plates in the parking lot, the employees here are so patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. When I moved from NJ to Pennsylvania, I spent at least two hours in lines and filling out paperwork and didn't even get my plates that day. My car is financed, so I had to have my title mailed (the leasing bank refused to fax it - ugh), but that was the ONLY wait I had to deal with. There wasn't a line when I walked in on a Monday afternoon around 4pm, and I was walking out the door with plates in hand after less than 10 minutes in the office. I really can't recommend this place enough - and as a matter of fact, I did recommend it to a friend, who had the exact same positive experience. I'd give Julie's six stars if I could! The lady that I worked with was friendly and helpful. The place was clean. Not to busy mid week when I was in. There was an error on my transaction and it has been nothing but a circle of calls and questions to get it fixed. 9 days later, not fixed. Was told should be fixed by next Friday, plus mailing time. When I said that wasn't acceptable, I was told they would do some more looking and get back to me. The error could have been avoided if I had looked closer and if the customer service person had double checked. Still waiting. Won't return after this is fixed. read more

Always quick and friendly on numerous occasions I have came here and it's always a pleasure to do business with them!

Ordered renewal tabs to be sent to me by mail. After not receiving them around three weeks later I called. They said they had mailed them out and it was the postal services fault and to wait until next week to see if they show up. New tabs never arrived in the mail so I called back and explained. The Individual who answered the phone said they would check the returned basket. As I'm waiting on the phone I could hear her talking to other people as if she just set the phone down and ignored the fact I was waiting for her to return. I waited nearly ten minutes on the phone with no reply back. Finally I hung up the phone and tried calling back but just got a busy signal. This continued for approximately another ten to fifteen minutes. Finally I spoke to different individual who explained that they would so generously re-issue my tabs and wave the re-issue fee ($13) I explained this was very generous on there part since I had already paid for the tabs. I had to drive over to Julie's to pickup my new tabs (ps, I live less than five miles from Julie's. Still haven't seen the envelope Julie's supposedly mailed. You're chose to decide if you think they ever mailed them to me!!!! I know what I think they did!!!! read more

Was dreading going here after someone decided to steal the license plates off my truck... except I somehow was in and out of this place in under 5 minutes. I was basically in shock. I came in with some documents I found online, and the guy behind the counter was like a wizard, moving so fast, getting me new plates/tabs, swipe a card, receipt, "have a great day!" Brandon was very helpful! I have California plates and am trying to register in Washington but there were some title issues with my name not being on it. He called the dealership himself and got to the bottom of everything and I am now ready to pick up my new plates! He kept in contact with me the whole time about what was going on. I went to Julie's license for years. The new people working there were rude to me. They made things confusing. The young woman there was confusing and has given me the runaround for the last time. Had an excellent experience. I was trying to license a motorcycle from California (stationed in California , Washington resident) and called with questions because the state website was a laundry list of multiple documents to fill out because of my specific situation. The Lady I talked to (I'm sorry I have forgotten your name) was able to answer all my questions and walked me through the whole process to ensure everything was filled out correctly. After sending off the paper work and check for the fees I received a package a week or two later with the title, license and even a hand written not from Julie's thanking me for my business and wishing me luck with my new motorcycle! Small gesture but it truly made my day, its not often you see that from a business these days. read more
