We contacted Ken, the owner because we needed re-grading, shrub removal, and lawn seeding around…read morethe perimeter of a newly poured concrete patio and walkway. We also needed some river rock placed in a tricky area between the house and the new walkway that had rock previously in that area which can not be seeded and maintained and we did not want the tedious job of removing the old rock. Ken responded quickly, set up a time to meet with us for an estimate, arrived as planned, assessed the area, listened to what we were looking for, and submitted a very reasonable estimate. Communication was excellent throughout the process. On the schedule we set up, he arrived as agreed, worked efficiently over the two days the job required. He was professional, pleasant, and left a clean neat work area behind. He was careful and accommodating in completing the work we requested. The area left behind by the patio contractor in April was a challenge to deal with even when the area had mostly dried by June and he dealt with it well. The rocky area was simply covered with new rounded river rock for a like new appearance. Ken was resourceful with the materials needed and had sufficient, suitable equipment for the job. We are happy with the end product. The very dry summer did not really do the grass seed justice as you can see in the photos. That will be an easy fix late this Fall and next Spring which we can easily take care of ourselves now that we are working with a nicely finished area. As a result of the work Ken did for us, a neighbor across the street also had him do some work for them. -

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I have for proof of a worthless waterproofing job done by this company .The…read morepipes and the Sump Pump installed by this company are almost 18" too low to collect ground water and this is now causing structural damage inside my home and numerous other issues .Please privately message me and I will go into full detail and give you all information you need to be convinced that this is the wrong company for you to hire .My cities Building engineer an inspector Placed several calls to the owner of this company and has been totally ignored as well as the mayor's office. It has been confirmed by several different inspectors and other professionals that this waterproofing job is absolutely worthless and Mr. Blakey refuses to acknowlege anybody that is trying to discuss it with him .At this point I'm going to do everything in my power to let everybody now what my experience has been .This includes the Attorney Generals office as well as my attorney as this is going to be a lawsuit .For any of you that have already begun a job with this company ,I would make sure to call your city and confirm that this company registered and pulled a permit like they told you they would . Because they lied to me and absolutely didn't register or pull a permit and if they would have my city inspector would have caught the horrible job they were doing and I would not be in the nightmare that I am in now .Mr. Blakey has zero integrity and might feel like he can ignore me but I'm not going away and I'm not letting this go. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE.BEWARE.BEWARE. 2   1

We asked to view sewer line advertised free estimates. We said we were good with camera view. When…read morethe gentleman used the camera it broke when he pulled it out and then said would need to charge us 3,500 to get their camera out. In addition to get it out dig up our perfectly nice basement floor. When I asked why would we pay if your camera broke. He said well let me see what my manger can offer off but we would need to do it any ways to jet it. He came back in and said 2,800 I said no way would we pay for something based on something that unfortunately happened by them. My husband then said well why not just cut the pipe coming out the floor and try to get from there. He said would come back next day to try that but didnt think would work. He advised not to use toilet or shower Did return next day and it did work. However now have leak in pipe above likely from shaking when sawing but my husband is going to fix himself. We did pay the 350.00 to view the line the day before. They tried to say our old pipe was the reason but funny a different company day before used a camera and a snake. We were just getting a second opinion snd wanted an estimate for an invisible line. Oh did I mention would have never got that that day as a separate crew has to come for that. The owner Brian was also not that nice and tried to blame on pipe but most people getting pipes viewed have older pipes so come on. Yes it may have been a fluke but the homeowner should not be responsible for that.

I wish I could choose less than 1 star…read more.. Before I say anything, the Navien hot water system is great. We have no issues with the product itself. We purchased an on-demand hot water system from Ben Franklin Plumbing in 2011. Supposed to last for 15 to 20 years. Not just 9. We always work with the vendor we purchased from. We are loyal to our contractors. This is the best way to go in my opinion. They have been awesome. Until now...No longer Ben Franklin Plumbing. Became Certified Plumbing....now no longer Certified Plumbing. Getting a picture here? Now we are talking about Invisible Excavations. What? Should have been a red flag. Anyway, we had a issue every time we went out of town for several days while the hot water wasn't being used. Once we got back and needed hot water, the unit would leak for a while. Recently, when we returned the leak would not stop. Ended up having to shut the water off to the whole house. Called our vendor (now Invisible Excavations) to get some help. After only showing them where the leak was (they never asked to turn the water on to see the leak) they gave us an estimate of $579 plus $89 service fee. They also gave us the option to replace the unit for $3,500+. It was appalling. Navien boost a long life for their system. We had no water so we decided we had to go with it. We had no water! We trusted them! I assumed afterwards it would have been adjusted for the work that was done. It was an ESTIMATE....not so. The ESTIMATE stood at $668. Turned out, we had a tech for 1 hour and he replaced one o-ring. The o-rings were included with the unit. They were attached to the inside of the unit. No parts required by Invisible Excavations. So, one hour or labor was $579.00. This is so in-your-face wrong. What is wrong with this picture? I have talked to them and they were supposed to get back to me but haven't. I could go on and on about this. We are so disappointed. People beware of contractors. Thanks, Jeff Daniocek (yes, my real name) I would include my personal contact info if there weren't so many crooks out there. Peace to all of you.
