There's a part of me deep down that gets aggravated with wine snobs with their cork sniffing and swishing. But it's admittedly unfair as I am becoming a beer snob. And that's what's great about BevMo. They have lots of good micro brews or hard to find imports that you won't find at your corner grocery store. Yum! The service is average. Bad service. I ordered online since 2pm and it said it should be ready around 4pm-6pm. I showed up around 6:15pm and they said my order just got in and they didnt have a chance to get it. So i dont recommend if anyone order online from this place. read more

BevMo is massive and whenever we come here we tend to not know where to start, they have all sorts of different kinds of beers, hard liquor, wine, mixers, sodas, cheese, etc, etc etc... also, i don't know if they are still doing it, but they've been doing a sale on selected wines and you get the second one for like FIVE cents, it's a bargain. and get a BevMo card, they're free and you get discounts with it. the only bad thing is that it's only open til nine, i believe. read more

Bev-mo is a good safe bet with a good selection of beer and wine the 5% off coupons when you spend $250 or more helps keep cost lower if you're throwing a party a bit of Costco mentality only problem is they jack up the cost of some the items be careful or their isn't any real savings. but what do you expect with a wine store chain but hey its simple and easy. read more

great place to buy imports like trappist ales and actually a pretty decent selection of cheeses. the staff is friendly and helpful and they take care to pack your bottles well when they send you on your way. they have some pretty good wine sales as well, but look out when buying popular stuff like hard liquor and the frou frou flavourings. some of them you can find at stater brothers or albertsons for less, even with the card discount. by the way, GET A CARD. it's free, why not? everyone knows your an alcoholic anyway; might as well carry proof of it. i just wish you were open later!! xD read more

I came in looking for a craft brewery that I did not expect them to have, and they didn't. However employee here named Jen said she would try and order it and to check in a week in the meantime she pointed me to a couple small craft beer but I had not heard of that sound amazing she described the taste, told me about some more beers, and showed me a couple that were on special that were really unique and she thought would be good for me to try. All in all I had a phenomenal experience Jen was amazing and I am super excited to try some the beers I bought today. read more

Bevmo use to be my go to place for anything alcoholic but I have to admit once seeing the nearby competition I find this place kind if drab and small. Excellent service and variety. The customer Services was really good however they didn't have what I was looking for.

Called earlier to see if the beverage I wanted was available chilled. Answer? No. Bummer. But wait...since I don't really need it for 3 hrs he offers put it in the back to chill & I can pick it up later. Awesome! 3 hrs later I come to pick it up and the first guy I see, Mike, was very confused. Wanted to know who I talked to earlier? Does it really matter? Just look in the back please. Or, just help some other people first, what ever works for you. Aaaaand 10 minutes later you can't find it. Super helpful. But if I want the warm bottle...uhmm, no. I'm good. And late. BevMo used to be a lot friendlier. I walked in the other day and I get fallowed around constantly being asked if I needed help by the same person over and over. I already had things in my cart and there were plenty of other people around that could have been asked for help. Then when I went to the checkout I got nothing but attitude from the cashier if my ID was real. I used to love to come to this place things change. read more

Its hard to find a bevmo all over southern California and nearby residency. The location here is pretty hidden on beach blvd in Huntington beach, ca. Its dead here, but the selections of alcohol is about right. Sometimes i find myself lost trying to find the beer and other assortments i want. I would spend about an hour or so just debating what i want, so many selections here. If you sign up for their reward cards, you get discounts on your final sales and builds up reward points to get an addition 5 percent off your next $250 spent. They also have a list of different kings of beer kegs from the sizes and prices. read more

Consistently the worst Bevmo I've been to in terms of service and availability of stock. Items that are supposedly available in their inventory (per computer check and Bevmo's website) are never actually in stock at the store, and it takes the staff 20 minutes to determine this when the store is empty. This has happened twice. In general I like Bevmo ok, but avoid this location if you can. read more

One of the better places to purchase alcohol in California. Tons of selection, whether it's hard alcohol, craft beer, or mixers. Wouldn't be a bad idea to add more fruits and juices to the items for sale. Cucumbers, mint, guava juice, simply lemonade, and limes would all be welcomed additions. read more

I've lived by this Bevmo since forever, but has never gone in for some reason. My friends introduced me to this store, and I really do like going here versus Albertsons. Their selection really is HUGE and they have a club card (it's free to sign up) where you can get certain items at a discounted price. The staff is very friendly, which is always a plus :). I've recently visited the store, and Jenn was off, and customer service was bad, the clerk, really had no idea of the stock he had, he paraded the aisles looking for what I asked, and he had no luck. Went here the day before Valentine's Day to pick some IPA for my husband and found a nice selection of items that looked good. The best part was when I was checking out, the cashier Ryan was so nice and friendly and gave me his feedback on each product I purchased. It;s hard to top their large selections, and the prices are pretty good as well. If you get their discount card, you can get some pretty good specials on occasion as well. They have a great selection of beers from all over the world. Wine selection is very nice, all price ranges and from all over the world. They also have a nice selection of bottled non-alcoholic drinks, like sodas, juices and teas. Great mixer selection, glasses and snack foods. They also carry Lump Charcoal for an hard core BBQers out there. I rarely ask for help,, just wonder the aisles looking at the selections. It's a joke this 5 cent wine sale. Those wines are wines no one else would drink and the ones that are half way decent, they hike the price so your second one looks like you're getting a deal. Best thing is to avoid this place and head over to Vons or Stater Bros. and find you some high quality wines at a fair discount when you buy at least 4 or 6 at one time. On Tuesday morning I was in this bevmo and asked to use the restroom that needs to be opened by a employee. As he's walking me to unlock the restroom he asks if I'm going to buy something I said sure... I thought it was a little odd at the time and didn't think much of. I was very shocked to see the restroom was in a unkept and very unclean way. It felt like the restroom hasn't been cleaned in honestly it looked like months. It was very disturbing and disgusting and made me feel gross even using the restroom. I decided to buy what I needed elsewhere. As I was leaving the same man followed me outside and put his arms out so I could not pass. While he was taking down to me about not buying anything and saying no one on this block would of allowed you to use there restroom, I told him why I didn't want anything from this store and he said we're doing the best we can to keep our restrooms clean and thanked me for lying to him about not making a purchase... Slow service, chronically short-staffed (or at least that's the excuse they give). I tried ordering online for in-store pickup but that didn't work either. I showed up at the correct time and they acted like they had no idea why I was there, and then later blamed the fact that my order wasn't ready on a printer that didn't print. It took *longer* to pay online and pick up in store than it would have if I had just grabbed my bottle and stood in line to check out. read more

I asked one of the workers there for a Red Wine to pair with some Lamb I was about to cook, I got home opened up the bottle and its sparkling red dessert wine... are you fucking serious? I mistakenly chose visiting Beverage and More in Huntington Beach over the nearby Total Wine, citing a better trained staff as my justification for doing so.. How wrong I was! I walked in and patrolled the aisles a bit before finally approaching an employee. She seemed overwhelmed and clueless, but she was at least nice. I asked her if she knew of a suitable vegan replacement for Guinness, as Guinness contains isinglass, which is a fish product. She excused herself to ask her manager, and she promptly returned saying he doesn't know the brand I'm looking for and I explained that I'm not looking for a specific brand per se but rather any alternative. She understood and grabbed the manager for me to speak to, which is where things get hairy. The manager or whatever he is was very condescending, rude and unhelpful and managed to maintain an annoyed tone of voice throughout our conversation. He asked what I wanted, and I told him the same thing as the other lady, a vegetarian/vegan alternative to Guinness. He asks "what exactly constitutes as vegan in a beer?", I explained the isinglass situation and he tells me that they don't put the ingredients on the bottles, which I knew, which is why I asked him... The pro.. Anyhoo, he tells me that he doesn't know and that I should use my smart phone to figure it out, which I would have by then, but the Bev Mo is like a black hole with no signal..
