I am writing to share a serious concern about my experience at BevMo!, particularly regarding the conduct of Miss Clementina. As a delivery driver, time and efficiency are critical to my work. During my visit, I experienced unnecessary delays that directly impacted my ability to complete my delivery on time. Items were difficult to locate, and instead of receiving helpful assistance, the process felt intentionally slowed down. It created the impression that items were being withheld or not clearly made accessible, which forced me to spend excessive time searching. This kind of delay can negatively affect delivery performance metrics, lead to penalties, and ultimately impact income. Whether intentional or not, this type of experience is unacceptable for delivery drivers who rely on cooperation from store staff to do their jobs effectively. There needs to be a greater level of professionalism, urgency, and support when assisting drivers. I strongly encourage management to review this situation and ensure that delivery drivers are treated with respect and efficiency moving forward. read more

Convenient location on Steven's Creek and good parking lot. Mid-sized store footprint, clean, strange public bathrooms. Visited looking for a Crow & Wolf Seltzer, asked a staff member for help. She checked her handheld system and quickly said they didn't have it. Asked about a separate seltzer and explained that I'd checked the spirits, cocktails, & other aisles without luck. She left me in an aisle while she disappeared, asked another staff member ln her way back to me, and quickly said "No" & returned to the empty cashier line. There was no follow-up, no request to help find another store with inventory, no recommendations for other products. No customer service. The experience reminded me why I'll continue to shop at Total Wine & More over BevMo. read more

I had never purchased from Bevmo online for pickup, but for the sake of convenience, I ordered in advance and headed to the store the next day. I mainly just wanted the Planters peanut butter chocolate trail mix, which is hard to find in stores nowadayz, never in stock, severely overpriced on Amazon or only available in bulk. Ended up getting several bags of this plus a couple more items. The Hershey's brand sugar free syrup we had been using for our homemade chocolate martinis was not ideal (a little too thick and clumpy), so I picked up some Torani Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup from bevmo. I really like this brand for the quality and taste I've gotten of other flavors, particularly sugar free cherry, so I figured we could give it a try. For wine, I got the 19 Crimes Revolutionary red blend. On sale and in a green bottle (apparently a limited edition created for St. Patrick's Day), it was the best option I found. My order was packed and ready, everything accurate, at pickup. And service was quick and easy, no issues, on a Friday afternoon. read more

It was Christmas Day we drove from Sacramento area to be with family in San Jose.. We were rushing to make it there at a decent time, but we were so busy. We forgot to get alcohol beverages for the adults. My husband said every store would be closed since it's Christmas day but , sure enough I called BevMo and they were open in this location till 4 PM which was a lifesaver for us. We walked in the store was very organized and clean. All the employees were super nice and knowledgeable. They helped us find what we were looking for. They have a lot of different options to choose from of any drink that you're looking for !! Overall, it was a good experience and a lifesaver to find that they were open till 4 PM on Christmas day !! Went to go grab a gift for my friends birthday. We talked to the two individuals working the register and unpacking items, and asked to get a whiskey out of the locked shelves. It took about 15 minutes for the individuals to recognize we were still waiting for the case to be open. When we asked them if we can have the case open, they said they don't have keys and ONLY the manager can open it. We were not informed the manager was supposedly dealing with a broken window, so we kept waiting. We were not communicated that nor did the manager come out to quickly open the case. Then one of the individuals who said only the manager could open the keys, ended up opening the case . Ryan (the manager) please work on customer communication with your team, and if there is a customer needing assistant or help, to focus on the revenue first before a window. This store needs to consider putting in more work for a customer first mentality. read more

IMHO I come here to buy one thing; Wyder's Prickly Pineapple Hard Cider, mainly because I can't find it anywhere else...or I'm not looking hard enough... This BevMo! is large and clean. Alicia greeted me upon entering and asked if I needed help locating anything. "Hard Cider!" I was brought to the aisle but I couldn't find what I was searching for, because I was looking for a six-pack of cider in bottles. I kept looking elsewhere around the store and eventually found myself back in the cider aisle, where I found my desired Wyder's cider on the bottom shelf but now in a boxed variety-pack of 6 cans... I usually go for Total Wine, but this BevMo is my second favorite to visit. Their staff is super friendly, they carry my favorite ginger beverage to mix with my bourbon and, during our most recent visit, I even got an Ostera caviar set, which was very delightful. A friend is visiting and likes to make margaritas. I happened to be out of Tequila and margarita mix so I thought BevMo! would have a good selection and better prices. What a colossal mistake - I am totally disgusted with BevMo! and will never make the mistake of going there again! The liquor section of the store is poorly organized so it took linear searching up and down each aisle to finally locate the Tequila. There were two choices that appealed, one for $15.99 and the other $16.99 - both prices clearly marked on the shelf. I chose the Souza Signature Blue 750 ml bottle of Tequila labeled $16.99. Upon getting home and looking at the receipt, BevMo! obviously uses BAIT AND SWITCH PRICING - I was charged $19.99 or 18% more than the marked price!! Since BevMo! is located clear across town, I didn't feel like another 30 minute drive to argue with incompetent BevMo! employees. Why incompetent? I also wanted a bottle of DeKuyper green Creme DeMenthe - it's a standard product that's been around for many years. After searching and searching and not finding any Creme DeMenth, we asked two different BevMo! employees who were nearby rummaging through the shelves. It was painfully obvious that neither one knew what Creme DeMenthe was - totally unacceptable for working in a liquor store. At the checkout, I complained about the two unhelpful, unprepared, and untrained incompetent employees and suggested the store manager be informed. It was obvious the cashier didn't care and was totally uninterested. AVOID BevMo! I've recently become a Total Wine convert but during this COVID-19 time period, it's changed how we have to go about our lives. This includes figuring out to pick up some libations. With so many places that don't have things in stock, it's helpful to have a website that has fairly up-to-date inventory and you get to choose your time of pick up. Total Wine has a similar set up but they didn't have some options I wanted in stock. On a late Saturday evening, I was able to choose Sunday from 2-3pm. They do make mention of not waiting or showing up to the store until you receive an email that your order is ready and I received my email at 3:02pm... I wasn't in a rush at all so we showed up a few minutes after receiving the email. They do make mention that you need to show your ID and credit card used to pay for the order so remember to bring that! They had everything packed in a box and if there were anything that they didn't have, they made sure to mention it when we picked it up. After it was all said and done, I was happy with how it went down, especially given the situation we're in. read more

As a Santana Row resident I visit this location for must adult beverages. I'm a big fan of chi chis mai tai mix and used to buy it often from this location. However when visiting the wine and more a couple of miles down Stevens creek I noticed the same bottle for double the price . So I call the store and ask if they price match their competition abd they said " most definitely". Great, I said and visited their location only to told by the store manager they cannot because of gross profits. Needles to say this manager would not even offer any discount and would not reveal his name.... I'm officially boycotting all stores read more

Wandered through here with an alcoholic friend - that is the only way to do BevMo. I recommend anybody do this. Oh that stuff is great!! Grab one of those!!! Two kids in a candy store. Both my friend and myself are really into sour beers these days. Hermatage Sour Blackberry my favorite but the Sour Power six pack is always on my shopping list. Such an interesting beer. The aged pale doesn't taste that great... the aged red not particularly good either... but you mix them 50/50 and its the best stuff on earth... in fact I'm enjoying some of that right now. Mixes are good. In fact I remember Chandler Bing from Friends making a mix tape. I had a wonderful experience at Bev Mo this afternoon. Arrived hot and tired after a long day. Gosh, I am a fish out of water here. I came to buy a very special bottle of scotch for a gift. I wanted something with the "wow" factor. Oliver asked if I'd like some help and couldn't be more grateful. We discussed and looked at a lot of bottles of scotch and decided on one special bottle. After heading off to look for bottle of Coke (my area of expertise) I noticed another bottle of scotch with a name that struck my fancy. Checking it out with Oliver, he agreed it would be a very wonderful choice. Stone-fruits and Port. Lovely. I came home with a beautiful bottle of Balvenie. I'm so excited about this gift! I'm the Duke of two liquor stores-- count 'em, TWO?!? What does that say about me? Don't judge. BevMo is one of my favorites for selection, price and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The BevMo card is a must have for frequent customers, it earns you discounts based on purchases and a flat percentage off on your birthday. They also have these 5-cent wine sales where one bottle is 5-cents with the purchase of another at regular price. I don't come here for everything, but they stock my favorite Hatian rum, their whiskey selection is not bad with decent prices, and they have a lot of different mixers. Lately I've been more into warm drinks: hot toddies, hot buttered rums, Tom and Jerrys. They have the stuff to make those. The wine selection is hard to beat. I like wine, but I'm not an expert so I appreciate the ratings they put on the shelves. My tastes follow Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast pretty well. There's another reviewer they use named Wilfred Wong, or as I call him Wilfred Wrong, his palate is totally different from mine and I have really suffered through some of his recommendations. Turns out he's a BevMo staffer, so maybe this is a clever economic engine they use to turn bottles. Wouldn't be the first time somebody tried to put lipstick on a pig. Or maybe I have bad taste. It's NYE, so I'm gonna need to wrap this up and go to BevMo. I'm thinking nice bottle of Prosecco or Moscato to take to an after-dinner party. Just your average rude liquor store. I went in forty-five minutes before closing and asked to use to restroom. "Stacy" the manager (?) said the restrooms were unavailable because I saw her use the women's restroom after presumably leaving a huge dump on the clock. She refused to let the customers use the facilities after her. One of her "retail leads" ( I waited patiently) just followed her instructions blindly after that. Seriously? You take a 10 minute dump and then refuse access for customers? lol Stacy. Poor selection over all. Some of the beer singles here cost 6.99 and 7.99. I swear that 7-11 has a better selection over all. They literally only have crackhead beers like fosters FOR SINGLES anyway. Stay away and drive to any liquor store, just not this one. read more

I was at Bev Mo tonight, long lines but employees doing their best to handle customers seeking to stay sane during the coronavirus outbreak. This 5 star review is for the professional, courteous staff, in particular for one young man. I don't know his name, but I believe he is young, African American. He dealt with an EXTREMELY belligerent, foul mouthed customer with professionalism and very cool-headed manner. I've never been to a BevMo I didn't like!! I love BevoMo because most times I save more than I spend and that is Epic for me. This one is my absolute fav! The customer service here can not be surpassed. All the cashiers are fabulous and Paulo the Store Manager is Awesome. I went in right before Thanksgiving when the lines were long, people were grumpy, and the store was packed. It was bad timing on my part with my favorite Zinfindale being sold out except for 1 lonely bottle. I saw the Manager and asked him if he or someone could check in the back to see if they had any more bottles. He took time out and checked for me. Well, there were no more bottles because it's a superbly tasty Zin. He asked me a few questions about what I liked in the sold-out Zin and gave me 2 other suggestions and proceeded to walk around and collect them for me. He also told me to let him know how I liked the suggestions. Fast-forward when I returned after the holidays to buy a case of one of the wines he suggested. Paulo saw me and asked me how did the choices work out? They were on point of course because he knows his vino and I now have a new favorite Zin! Oh as an added post-holiday bonus scotch tape was on sale for .09 a roll. This is my new goto BevMO and I suggest you make it yours well unless you are buying my favorite red wine blends or Zinfindales. Honestly, the customer service doesn't get any better than it is here in this store with this staff lead by Paulo Kanga. Check them out you will not be disappointed. read more
