Easy! Got in, found what I wanted, got out. I did stop to lay on the way out and the supervisor (very nice woman by the way!) even checked my ID. Very unnecessary given I definitely look of age but flattering nonetheless LOL!! They had plenty in stock of what I wanted (Karl Strauss Red Trolley Ale) but also looked like they had plenty of everything available. It's not fancy, just rows of alcohol. It was organized and well lit. There were 3 people in line when (I was 2nd) and the supervisor opened another register to get us out quickly. Only real negative is pricing. They're a bit more than I would have liked to pay but I can't always find this beer everywhere so I guess they can charge a bit more. I don't usually go to bev mo just bc the alcohol and chips here is way more expensive but this location is around the mall. It's clean here and it isn't so busy at all. Sometimes they have really good deals on wine. I don't mind the 2 buck chucks. I used to come here decades ago and get boxes of the 2 buck chucks. They do have a big selection of wine here. I do like this location better than the mission valley one in San diego. I think this temecula location is more roomier and easier to navigate. The customer service is meh. Kinda seem rude. Yay for being a store that houses an abundance of alcohol. But boo because some of the prices are really high, and the store is kind of small. For instance, I was thinking I might want to make some Aperol spritzes, but a small bottle of Aperol liqueur was $14! And a large one was $23! And this was after the membership discount. (You have to sign up for their club card in order to get discounted prices.) The Aperol is too dang high here. The people who work here are friendly, though. I got asked a few times whether I needed help, and both times I demurred and insisted that I was fine. I sometimes just like to wander places like BevMo like a child at a toy store. I did end up getting a bottle of Vinho Verde. I don't have a BevMo club card, so I was a little shocked at the price, but it was worth it because it was a good bottle of wine. read more

Not much to say, other than BevMo stays open an hour later than the other beverage stores, and is well stocked to say the least. Wow! What amazing customer service. I could have just wet to stater bro. Close to my house. But I knew by going to this BevMo location they would match me to the perfect drink. Sadly My pandemic latitude 39 Honey Hips Bret is no longer available. Even though Angela was in the middle of organizing she stop and made me feel so welcome. Especially I felt bad for interrupting her hard work. She was so gentle and kind she even went above and beyond researching my favorite beer if it was in stock. After hearing her favorites I already knew we had similar taste and she would steer me in the right direction. I have 4 new tropical unique beers to add to my list to try. She made the trip worth it. She has so much pride in work I would think she owns BevMo. She is exactly why I chose to come here instead of the grocery store. The store was clean-spotless. Every shelf so organized. The beer section has so many unique beers and very artsy. Perfect for my paint and sip party's. I overheard Gabe another worker taking to another customer. The customer sounded super experience beer connoisseur. But after hearing their conversation Gave got me excited to venture out to try new beers. He was so kind and felt like he was on of my brothers. This place gives the feeling of professionalism with an overwhelming calm and warm family vibe. This is so unique especially in our day and age. I truly hope Angela and Gabe get the recognition and praise from corporate. Terrible customer service! My daughter went to buy me a bottle of wine for my birthday and had her 15 yrs old brother with her. Cashier told her she could not sell her alcohol because for all they know she could be trying to be the cool sister and buy alcohol for her little brother. Really what kid wants to drink wine?! What a joke! There's better ways to handle this. They also suggest she go down the street to buy her wine or come back in two hours without her brother and there's a different cashier. This place has it all! We come here when we want to experiment with new adult drinks and purchase cigars, but they have more than I last remembered. The have toiletries, too! Stopped in to pick up a few bottles of wine with my husband. Prior to moving to SoCal, I never even heard of BevMo so I was curious. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this store is more than your average wine and spirits store. They had a mini convenience section where you can purchase anything from snacks to cups, and even detergent. Talk about one stop shopping. We were able to find a variety of wines at great prices. The store is always super clean, well-organized, and stocked to the gills - it's honestly one of the nicest BevMo locations I've ever been in. Easy to find whatever you're looking for, whether it's wine, craft beer, or random mixers and bar tools. What really made my last trip stand out was the help I got from Maria. I was hunting for a specific bottle of rye for a cocktail party and had no clue where to start. Maria didn't just point me in the right direction - she walked me through a few options, told me what was popular right now, and even remembered that I'd bought the same brand a few months ago (which I totally forgot about). She was genuinely friendly, patient, and knew her stuff without being pushy at all. It's rare to get that kind of personal service in a big box beverage store these days. Everyone working there seems happy and helpful, but Maria went above and beyond. What a refreshing experience as far as customer service goes. I walk in and was immediately happily greeted by Justin and Gabe. Justin asked me what I was there for, I informed him "an IPA for my wife" - he proceeded to take me straight to the IPA's listing off his current recommendations as well as new inventory. I took home 2 - 6 packs of IPA's (Weekend Vibes as well as Latitude 33 for anyone who's interested) Gabe was sure to get my phone # so I got a discount. The manager here is absolutely worthless! We ordered and paid for two bottles of Sinatra that mysteriously disappeared from stock before we got there to pick them up. No apology, just attitude! Gabe an assistant was extremely helpful and found two bottles nearby. The "manager" didn't manage and could not have cared less about the issue. She claimed she has no control over how things are done online or thru her store?!?! Then why are you there? What are you compensated for? BE AWARE of the prices marked on the display and what you are actually charged at the register. Found a whiskey marked $49.99, down from $69.99 indicated on the sign. Decided to pick up a couple of cigars as well. When I watched the register it indicated the whiskey was $59.99, reduced from $69.99. I also noticed that they charged me $1 above the marked price for one of my cigars. I pointed this out to the clerk and I believe his supervisor, who claimed they were short staffed and behind on correcting old signs. I cancelled the sale and left. Terrible customer service. They make rude remarks about customers ages! The old white lady was giving these two women clearly over 30 a very difficult time about buying a bottle. The one purchasing had her ID but the one accompanying her forgot it at home. They advised that they should drive all the way to San Marcos to pick up this bottle instead. One word description: Rude. I've been to this store several times. I've run across some staff that were not exactly friendly or helpful, but they did their job just fine at the check out counter. However on my last visit the gentleman (with the cat tattoo on upper forearm) at the register was very rude. In fact he did not say a single word to me or even make eye contact even when the transaction was complete. He did playfully talk to other coworkers in the area while I was working on paying with my card. He even started a conversationn with a customer behind me holding a beverage he (the cashier) apparently likes very much. Prejudice? Judgmental? Was it my clothing or perhaps because I choose to wear a mask? I cannot say. I can say that I will not be going back to this store. I will drive the extra 10 minutes down the road and go to Total Wine & More. At least every employee I've encountered there says hello with a smile and offers to help. read more

Frequent this BevMo because it's next to my gym. Selection is decent and staff is always available to assist. Can't find something? Don't fret, just ask! Not in stock? Again, don't panic, they'll point you to a location that has it. And if they don't carry it then you'll get a website recommendation. Not very many places that'll do that! Restrooms are clean. They have a tasting area for both beer and wine. Prices are comparable and may even find a deal. Just because it's rare inventory at this store doesn't mean it's rare altogether. Made a mistake on that once. Feel free to do a price comparison while in store with other retailers. But don't worry too much, you can always exchange it out for something else without too big of a hassle. Parking lot is huge with other retailers, gym, and bank. read more

I work a lot with Ashley, Justin, Nacho and Andrea. They know me by a first name basis, always greet me like family. Came here on a whim to pick up last minute ice for a party. I noticed that there was a sign out front indicating wine tasting from 12-3p. I looked at my watch, and sadly, it was 330p. We walked thru the sliding doors and were immediately greeted by the cashier. As I was about to go thru the aisles to search for the Italian wines, we noticed a couple of employees in the back with a cartful of wine bottles from the tastings. We SLOWLY passed by in hopes that we catch their attention, and it worked! The 2 employees asked if we wanted to do some wine tastings. YES, PLS!!! I lucked out since I already loved 2 of the wines they were showcasing (Fratelli's Casa Rossa and Moscato d'Asti). My friend hadn't tried it, and when he did, he fell in love!!! He even asked for seconds!!! The employees were super cool and educated us on various wines that were similar within the casa rossa/moscato d'asti families. What should have been a 5 min trip, turned out to be a 45 min visit since we were chatting it up with the employees. I purchased 2 bottles of wine - 1 for the party and 1 for myself. Easy and friendly checkout. The store is clean and spacious. Employees are incredibly nice and tons of parking in the shopping center. Note: Tastings are on Sat from 12-3p. They only have the 5 cent wine sales 2-3 times a year, so stock up when you can!!! read more
