Came here on a whim to pick up last minute ice for a party. I noticed that there was a sign out front indicating wine tasting from 12-3p. I looked at my watch, and sadly, it was 330p. We walked thru the sliding doors and were immediately greeted by the cashier. As I was about to go thru the aisles to search for the Italian wines, we noticed a couple of employees in the back with a cartful of wine bottles from the tastings. We SLOWLY passed by in hopes that we catch their attention, and it worked! The 2 employees asked if we wanted to do some wine tastings. YES, PLS!!! I lucked out since I already loved 2 of the wines they were showcasing (Fratelli's Casa Rossa and Moscato d'Asti). My friend hadn't tried it, and when he did, he fell in love!!! He even asked for seconds!!! The employees were super cool and educated us on various wines that were similar within the casa rossa/moscato d'asti families. What should have been a 5 min trip, turned out to be a 45 min visit since we were chatting it up with the employees. I purchased 2 bottles of wine - 1 for the party and 1 for myself. Easy and friendly checkout. The store is clean and spacious. Employees are incredibly nice and tons of parking in the shopping center. Note: Tastings are on Sat from 12-3p. They only have the 5 cent wine sales 2-3 times a year, so stock up when you can!!! read more

This evening was my first visit to BevMo in Temecula. Actually, it was my first visit to any BevMo. When I first walked in I thought of Bottle King in Jersey, except with much higher ceilings. I was seriously impressed with their stock of imported whites and reds. I found a bottle of a french pinot noir that I haven't seen since leaving Jersey. Amazing! I also walked around to the spirit side and was impressed with their whiskey selection. You don't normally see bottles of The Macallan 21 or Loius XIII on display, but there they were. I'll probably purchase The Macallan 21 here within the month. The Louis XIII, probably never. I don't really care that its 50 years old. Can you really notice a difference between Louis XIII and Remy XO? I have a hard time justifying the $2000 price tag. Anyway, BevMo also sells cigars. I took a look and didn't see anything that appealed to me. I'm very much into Macanudo's, primarily their Hampton Court line. Didn't see it there. I didn't see too many types of torpedoes either. Contrary to the opinion of another reviewer, there is a huge selection of soda here. I mean, how many brands of root beer do you really need? 20? Dang, this is a liquor store for crying out loud. Don't go there hoping to find obscure cream sodas. Do go and sign up for a BevMo card. If you enjoy wine, it's a must! Pop off the top and rock with my posse... read more

Bevmo is awesome. Can't say anything negative about tons of beer, alcohol, and wine along with fun goodies to enjoy drinking! We Bought 2 cases of beer, 2 bottles of wine, a wine opener, and some wine glasses. So fun coming here to pick up cool stuff. Staff are friendly. We stopped by here today on the 4th of July and the employees were cheerful as ever despite having to work on the holiday. I'm sure we will be back to this Bevmo soon. If you aren't gonna sell alcohol to someone who has a current valid ID and is of age because they have a minor with them or another of age adult who doesn't have their id and isn't the one purchasing you should state that before someone walks into the store, and fine don't sell it because we will take our business elsewhere. BUT to follow up with a comment about how someone is definitely not a family member because you are making assumptions about race and skin tone is called discrimination. What is not to love at BevMo?!!! So many varieties and labels. Beer, wine, liquors, sodas and now...Calypso drinks. But you need to keep more of the Black Cherry Lemonade. It's the best and apparently, very rare. BevMo has a plethora of snacks, wine bags, birthday cards and such. Also wine, beer, martini and other glassware. I like to go in and just walk around. I go here a lot buy a lot as well. I have never until today felt so disrespected by an employee named ANDREW he accused me of taking another persons keg. I have a dual kegerator in my backyard and buy 2 kegs a month from here and more. I know how it works they set paper on top of the keg to show it's reserved (as I have done many times) I went in grabbed a keg with no paper on top and when trying to purchase I got accused of taking the paper off and taking it. This review is for this specific location and mainly for the interaction that took place yesterday. We ordered two bottles of a very hard to find bottle of whiskey online Wednesday night and was charged for said bottles. I had a confirmation email and a charge on my credit card. We arranged to pick up the bottles the next day at a prearranged time. That time came and off I went to go pick up the two bottles, I walked into the store and spoke to a very nice young man named Gabe. Gabe looked for our order and clearly couldn't find it. He went to ask a woman (I didn't get her name but she seemed like the manager) and she said "yeah, we don't have those. We ran out.". I'm sorry, how exactly can you run out of something that I already bought and paid for? So I asked her that exact question. She barked at me that "it's not my problem what happens online" to which I explained it is very much her problem since it was her store, not some random hub. More importantly she was beyond rude. I let her know that I never got a cancellation email and she once again made it clear that it wasn't her problem. In steps Gabe who takes it upon himself to call Murrieta and see if they might have any in stock (they did) and has them hold them for me. Gabe for the win! I can not say enough good things about Gabe and his customer service. Perhaps he should be the manager and she should be sent back for some training. read more

Bev Mo! has saved me hundreds of dollars on alcohol purchases, as I now only have to foot the bill for overpriced sodas and mixers. I've always been a fan of BevMo. Alcohol superstore, what is not to like? Well I'm a beer connoisseur as you will, and I love trying new things. Probably is I don't want to buy most of them as a 6 pack and end up drinking 1 and not liking it, meaning I have 5 more to drink or pitch. Well I grew up where you don't waste alcohol so I prefer to buy things as a one-sie and if I like it I log it and buy more. Now that I've been introduced to the Total Wines and More here, I don't see BevMo in the same light. =\ I do have to say they carry Yancey Fancey cheese which is a huge plus. I used to have it shipped from NY when I lived in IL. The people here are nice. Not sure on the knowledgeable aspect as when I asked questions they seemed ready to run. BevMo! Temecula had their grand opening last week, so I had to check it out. Never having been to a BevMo! before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pretty pleased with it...lots of wine, good prices, and tasting/bottle signing. I thought it was cool to taste for 25 cents from three different wineries and have my bottles signed. Adam Firestone, Christine Hart, and Joe Hart were there. The tasting area is teeny though. Being a new store, it was squeaky clean and was staffed like crazy. I would've liked to have seen more non-alcoholic items, such as a bigger selection of specialty sodas. I did like the buy one wine get another for 5 cents deal. What a bargain! In my opinion, BevMo! is a nice addition to Temecula and I'll be back for their Sauv Blanc tasting next weekend... read more

When my liquor cabinet starts to look bare I know it's time for a bevmo run (jk I never let my liquor cabinet get empty). Love their huge selection of wine, liquor and other fun stuff like bartending tools, glasses, chocolate liquor candy, etc. If you need help picking out your wine or other spirits their associates are knowledgeable and always happy to help. I can never resist their $.05 wine sale (but why would I try). On my last trip I had a $10 off of $100 coupon & somehow between the car & the store I managed to lose it (& no I hadn't started drinking yet). I didn't realize it was lost it until I got to the register. The cashier was super nice & said he could finish ringing up my items while I went back to my car (yep I had quite a lot of bottles to ring up). Unfortunately I couldn't find the coupon & was just going to forget about it. When I told the cashier I couldn't find it he said not to worry he found 1 in the trash & he deducted $10 from my order. That was amazing service & quite unexpected. I love this place. I love the variety that they carry. Keep in mind this is basically a huge liquor store but much better. They carry local wines and local craft beers. They also sell cavier, if that is how you roll. The staff is very helpful and always pleasant to deal with. I enjoy walking up and down the brew aisle and searching for that new brew that my mouth thirst for.The small discriptions on the shelves really help on picking that new brew.
