My rating is…read morefor poor communication about running an hour late on the appointment time, not booking me with a curly-hair stylist, and not informing me that I wasn't booked with the curly-hair stylist. Had there been more transparency, I would have known to provide more direction during the hair-styling process. On the positive side, the makeup artist was very kind and helpful (and I thought my friend's makeup turned out fantastic). The Details, If You Want Them: My friend booked the appointments for our bridal party of four women weeks in advance. My friend even made a second phone call on my behalf to make sure they knew I had curly hair, and they told her they had a curly-hair stylist. Fast forward to the day of our appointments. Around 1pm, I was getting worried because my 12pm appointment hadn't started, and I was already overdue for pumping (as in milk for my baby at home, not iron). I wasn't informed that they were running late at any point. The woman who did my friend's makeup was so kind and offered me a place to pump inside in the AC when she heard me asking for my friend's car keys (so I could pump in the car). I'm not sure if they did have a curly-hair stylist, but if they did, they didn't book me with her (and failed to pass this on). Had I known this, I would have known to provide extra guidance. It didn't help that I was turned away from the mirror the whole time too. Instead, I put too much trust into the assurance that they had a curly-hair stylist and assumed my stylist had tricks up her sleeve (like product/water) when she first started brushing my hair dry because she was trying to give it more length. After that, my hair got too frizzy to style curly, so she ended up having to straighten it. I had really wanted my hair to be curly and thought that was evident during the booking process and also when I showed up with a picture of a curly hairstyle. The price we were quoted when booking was that it would be "$60 and go up based on amount of hair, thickness of hair, and complexity of what you want done." I was charged $100 (the same was true for the rest of the bridal party) plus tip. I assume this was in part because my hair was straightened. I also had several inches of split ends, so that didn't make it easy on my stylist either (sorry about that, baby at home = haircut has not been on the priority list). However, I really did not want my hair straight. My hairstyle, while it looked nice, did not look like the photo I brought in. I didn't have time for them to fix it because they started late, we had a wedding to get to, and at this point, they would have had to wash my hair, dry it, and start all over again. If my appointment had started on time, maybe I would have requested this, but there just wasn't time at this point. I wish there had been clearer communication on the salon's part about my appointment running late and how much experience my stylist had with curly hair. I do not think they should have charged $100 + tip when I requested a curly-hair style and ended up with straightened hair.

They do the basic technique of when first learning extensions I found out by my new artist I went to about the technique am all the reasons why it wasn't staying put. I'd like to have let her know because she is nice the owner but think she is over charging for her services. Charging as a luxury salon does not make you automatically a luxury salon to take in effect especially if you think your a specialist but only know the basic way to install extensions. That does not make someone a expert professional in the skill. It's an art an takes skill with practice. Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I thought something felt off. It was the fact she likes to over charge an do what she can to squeeze as much money she can out of clients. I'm a bit of a push over and didn't want to insult the artist because she is kind but she clearly cannot communicate and what she does say can't hold her to it. Forget trying to confront her she will make it that it's you. So shows me she can't hold herself accountable for poor work. Anyone can make you like them in 2-3 trips but after the 2nd I was alarm An knew something was off ‼ I spent 6 months with her still trying to get the issue right but she never listened and because she is sweet I address Things and have me discuss her assistant am not me. She never took in account for her negligence but wanted to charge me more money for her negligence. It's sad to see artist take advantage of clients. The handtied is what I get as extension and it was revealed to be sloppy service. The would be loose within the first week of getting them installed due to I have fine hair as well want the health of my hair maintain. So removing them fully each time makes sense am fresh beads. Not half a** work a charge $225 for a slide up which by way is lazy to do. An takes way to much for 30-45 min work that's not even gonna uphold. I'm use to getting extensions and love my original girl. Who by the way ended up being a God send Who came into town to fix my extensions and was able to also identify the technique that she was doing was sloppy careless and not of a expert luxury specialist in extensions. To wide spaces which would make the service move faster. Instead of making smaller sections to lock in an make secure. Failed at that an sadly I lost in 6 months $2,775 spent on hair and my bad for allowing this with her to take advantage of me. She charges far more then what her services provide. $225 to slide up beads as well $375 for a hard move up(which means to take all the hair out an place back in) An NO wash or anything is included in both those service price . WELL TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!! When addressing am reaching out it's days later to even a week. She also charge me for 8 wefts at 24" come to find out she install 6 wefts an then lied about the length. As I ask her she didn't like me asking question, and instead of helping with after 1 week and half of the issue she was ready to only fix it if it was additional money to pay her. When I just paid her $575 for a hard move up with color. An after a week am half wants to charge me more to fix what she messed up. Also pricing she may include herself a tip. Tell you one price an by the end change it to something more. A trust me when questioning her she will avoid you make her assistant talk to you just so strangled along with paying a price that was never negotiable. I expect a higher standard of work from the artist I've hired, rather than having their assistant piece together a broken row that has snapped. Not replacing the entire row seems unprofessional. This method raises concerns about the prioritization of efficiency and profit over craftsmanship. The vibe seems elegant, fun and pretty appearance. The artist are friendly with each other that's because Haley pays them.

To save some money I washed my hair myself, went in with it wet and did not want it blown dry because braids needed to be wet and tight for look I was wanting. I reminded the young lady that braids had to be tight. I was charged the $79 yet wash and blown dry was not done. Braids were loose, could put my finger through them. Did not get the look I wanted, it should have been much fuller and kinky. So that was a waste of $85 dollars and my time.
