I've never had an issue with wait times or a rude staff like other reviews outline but the end product is just totally underwhelming. I have been several times bc of the convenient location but will definitely be going out to Easton going forward. Their mani/pedi doesn't last at all - chips, peels, smudges. Twice the gel color hasn't matched what I picked out - and once it was like a hypercolor polish that changed colors depending on the temperature. I felt like a 3rd grader. They only told me AFTER it was on and I didn't have time to fix it. The manicure specifically doesn't look professional and even the gel version doesn't last. I end up spending twice the time (and money) to get it fixed in Easton. Would not recommend. read more

Great people there but the quality is not what I expected to pay for a 35 dollar balance. When I get acrylics they can last me a good two weeks-three weeks, but after going to Bexley VIP my nail was starting to break the second day I got them. Usually nail techs will ask how short I want them cut down but next thing I knew she was cutting them before I could say something so the length is not what I wanted. Also, when I leave the salon I usually go to the shape of my nail is very sharp and defined and will stay that way for the first week, the shaping is more rounded than what should be for coffin shape from VIP. My roommate also got her nails done and broke a nail opening a bag of chips the same night we got them done, she's broken 4 nails in the past week and when she took them off she said the acrylic was more chewy than hard, which is not how acrylics should be. Wish I could say better things about Bexley VIP, but it was truly a waste of my money. read more

Went here for a gel manicure all seemed fine until I got home and it was already falling off. I called and they say they would redo it and refund me so I went back immediately. They removed it and then told me I was done and they would not be reapplying the polish for me. I have never had this happen. The manager was very rude and laughed in my face. I have tried this place 3 times. I am done! Rude, rude, rude. Appointments are not honored for the time they are despite you being absolutely on time even 5-10 minutes ahead. They just keep saying "Yes" to anyone that walks in, when are is not enough staff to say YES to each wallet walking it, as that is how I believe they view people - wallets, so those who made an appointment get slighted. As well, I was a walkin-in the 3rd time and was "parked" after being told only a few minutes wait, it was 20 minutes and still not one person said anything to me. I finally asked how much longer and was told 30 minutes more! That is when you say you are too busy sorry cannot take a walkin. I believe they just want to rack up the money and the customer service is absolutley last. My wallet and I are never coming in again, we found a better place West on Main St who treat us both like old friends. read more

We love VIP nails! As a customer of over 7 years we don't go anywhere else. The salon is beautifully decorated and always very clean. The use every method available to ensure safety. The new pedicure bowl liners are a great. Over the years we have gotten to know many of the staff members and it feels like we're seeing friends when we go. I called ahead to make an appointment for sculptured nails and when I got there they asked me what can I do for you, I told them I called in and asked for sculptured nails they said ok. They made me wait 20 minutes then when it was my turn, they told me they don't do sculptured nails that it was a misunderstanding. I said I called you guys before I got here they said no I'm sorry its a misunderstanding. they're such liars and I feel like they're so lazy and didn't even want to do the job but yet they still made me wait the 20 minutes. read more

I have been a customer of Uyen's for years now. Why? Because I consistently receive excellent service. I witness the kindness and caring that she gives to her clients over and over. I've seen her walk her elderly clients out to their cars safely. I've been there when a snowbird has returned to Bexley and her first stop is to see Uyen and get a hug. It took them 2 hours to do some gel dip French tip. I much rather go pay for fake nails at Walmart Than this place. The lady couldn't even glue the tip on 6 fell off ask she was filing. Zero stars! The worst nail salon I've ever been to. If you're a new customer DO NOT stop here. They take advantage of new customers. I came in for a fill in and polish change on my toes. I read the signs on the wall for price when I got up to pay I was charged $75!! I will repeat I only got a fill in, no broken nails, no pedicure, just polished change. There is absolutely no way that came out to that price. No design just a solid color, I asked the tech to explain she said my fill in was $55! I have never paid 55 for a fill in ever! Then $20 for polish change. Complete ripoff the polish was turning colors in days & my fill in wasn't done correctly, the nail was separating in two days! After this terrible job fell apart I went to a different salon got the same exact thing fill in and polish change. My total price was $45 dollars. So once again DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! They will up rip you off if you're a new customer. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! You've been warned! read more

This has got to be the absolute worst nail salon I have ever been to. I went in to get a gel manicure and pedicure. Both the ladies who were working with me were very sloppy and rushing as if my being in the salon was an inconvenience to their day. They were not taking their time at all to make sure that they were doing their job right. I left with gel nail polish all over the skin surrounding my fingernails and toes. Two days later all the gel had peeled off from being on the skin, where it should not be. So the event that I needed my nails done for, I didn't have anything except for sloppy gel nails that were peeling off. So, the manicure and pedicure I paid a significant amount of money for was now all peeled off. This is the worst nail service I have ever received and if I could rate this salon zero stars, I would. In addition to the sloppy service, almost every woman working there except one was extremely rude and talked about you in another language to the other women working there. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I would rather paint my own nails than ever go here again. read more

RUDE staff. The main girl behind the register is horrible. I went in for a balance and she took me immediately but proceeded to talk on the phone for 10 mins. At the end of my visit she complained about my color choices. Then proceeded to tell me she needed to hurry because she had an appointment waiting. The pedicure job they did was great. But the lady mostly talked to her coworker friend in whatever language that was. Didn't bother looking or talking to me. When I went to pay, they surprised me by telling me that since I was using a credit card, they would have to charge me a bit more to cover the credit card fee. I went in today to get a pedicure. I selected the VIP pedicure which I'm pretty positive said $25. Upon checkout, my bill was $48. When I mentioned it, the lady either didn't understand or just left it as is. Maybe I made a mistake but that was a pretty significant price difference and I don't plan to return based on that. read more

Love this salon! Got a much better mani/pedi than I have received at two of the famous upper crust salons in Columbus for much less. The technicians were kind, gentle and efficient. Horrible service: nobody offered to help me with how to work the chair. I tried asking people. Nobody could understand English. I asked for a mask because of the chemical fumes and one told me they had none while workers walked around in them. Offered no water. It was hot in there... One of the worst customer service experiences i've ever had and that's saying a lot. Went in for a gel manicure and everything started off fine. As my manicure continued I noticed many mistakes/smudges in the polish. At least 7 fingers had marks. I told the woman doing my nails the problem and she kept half fixing the mistakes but they just kept happening. Growing more and more annoyed I said I was just going to leave. The woman ignored me, said nothing and continued "doing" my nails. Said something again that i wanted to go somewhere else. Ignored me again instead kept speaking to another employee next to her and completely ignoring me. Then she mentioned she had never turned the gel light on. So that explains why my manicure was so horrible. Not a single apology, barely even acknowledged I was there. Just talking with another employee. I know people are human and make mistakes but to just blatantly ignore me and act like I don't exist is so rude. I eventually had to just get up and leave. Horrible job and horrible service. The best salon in history if you like to wait for hours to get a service completed to find out that you did not make an appointment a week in advance. Either because they are actually busy or because they specifically do not want your presence within the salon. If you love drama and scream out matches, this salon is the go to as you will sit there watching the owner scream in her language to her coworkers about who is right and who is wrong. So very cultural, bring your own popcorn. And the owner does include the audience (you, the customer) to then participate, to include your input on who is right and wrong within the conflict. In case you are having conflict for any reasons, just know that you are irrelevent and small as they make you feel. It is so sweet of her to include us customers to participate in a wild tension of uncomfortable anger. Don't scruff up her floors, or mess up a nail on her furniture, or break a nail polish onto her lovely white floors, you will get a small vietnamese lady giving you passionate glares as she talks in her language, about you, not to you.
