Beyar's Market WAS the spot to go to for a good sandwich or cream cheese bagel but not anymore. Those days are LONG GONE. Today my wife went there to buy bagels for us. I asked her to pick me up an onion bagel toasted with cream cheese and this is what I got! The bagel in this picture speaks for itself they're supposed to be cream cheese on here. It's supposed to be toasted and normal size. The bagel is half the size it used to be. There's no cream cheese and it's barely toasted. It actually tastes like it's stale. It's a hard bagel. I'm not going there anymore. I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

Unfortunately as much as the staff is kind and clean great place every single time I've ordered sandwiches no matter a BLT , or BEC it is always wrong and/or undercooked and missing ingredients. And for sandwiches I can get anywhere else for cheaper price and made right but always went back to give them another chance because I want to give them the business. Catered from Beyar's Market for a big party. Everyone loved all the food, it was fresh and delicious! Eggplant rollatini, mini rice balls, sausage and peppers, all was a hit! They provided everything I needed. The sandwiches in a shape of a 30 was a great touch, chicken cutlet and Italian sandwiches with fresh bread was so good. I also go there for there for just about anything, breakfast sandwiches are great, and their boneless buffalo bites are my favorite! read more

Don't quote me on this but I think they're open until 11pm. I always forget that when I'm jonesing for some grub on SI... I mostly order sandwiches from the deli counter. It's almost as if you get 8 bucks' worth of chicken breast on your $5.50 deli sandwich! Now granted I'm usually hungry when I'm ordering so maybe it's the fog of noshing. They don't have a seating area so be prepared to drag your goodies down to the Starbucks or home. They also have a large selection of house-prepared foods in their cooler, conveniently packaged in plastic containers and ready to toss in the microwave. (Don't you hate when they put your food in metal containers?) Some examples include turkey, mash potatoes, pasta, meatballs, bulk sauces etc. They'll heat these up for you if you ask at the deli counter. This tiny shop is just like the mom and pop hardware stores in the area, they're small but they seem to have exactly what you need if you ask. They even make their own mozzarella cheese. Ordered the chicken florentine lunch special on sourdough bread the worst excuse for a panini I've ever had. Sandwich had a few slice of deli chicken and a ton of unmelted cheese. The bread wasn't toasted and the florentine was a few leaves of raw baby spinach. I work on the island and will make sure I don't go back to this place. read more

I love this place and have been going there for years, since it was Miggy's. They have the basics and then some, a wonderful deli department and lots of fresh breads, rolls and bagels. Parking is sometimes a bit of a challenge, but nothing that would stop me from going there. Even if you pick up a basket full of items, you're still in and out in no time, which I really appreciate. The people who work there, especially management, are very nice. Highly recommend this establishment. read more

I have been coming to this market since I was a kid. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a great assortment of groceries and everything is always so clean and fresh. I just purchased a home 2 blocks away from this market an I always pass it on my way to the house. I decided to try it out. Plenty of parking in the lot, walking in was very appealing an clean. You can tell it's a well organized clean market. Great meat department looks an smells fresh not like a yucky old meat market. Very nice people working here it's small and cute very family Orientated. Deli selections was ok all the condiments looks very fresh as well. Not dry an old Price is a dollar or two over but not So bad of a difference than a huge market. Overall I'm pleased with my first time coming in I'm hoping it's like that again on my next visit. :) read more

Just a heads up called during covid 19 minimum $30 order plus $10 delivery fee...... Uber and grub hub aren't even charging delivery fees. called bagels and buns after my entire order was $30. Absolutely the worst store in the area. Owners and manager are rude and disrespectful to not only their staff but the customers in the store. Head manager is one of the most rude and immature people I've ever met. Owner is disrespectful and careless especially when confronted by customers. Produce and deli foods are not usually fresh, milk is sour more often than not. Deli workers and cashiers are genuine and nice for the most part, but ownership and management are awful human beings. I purchased 2 large bags of chips amongst other items. I asked for a pound of potato salad and received macaroni. In addition, the deli clerk incorrectly gave me the wrong weight on 2 cold cuts. Instead of 1 lb of each... I got 3/4 lb of each. Since it was raining I was not going back to the store. When I got home and unpacked my bags a mouse/rat had chewed threw one bag of chips. 3/30/2020 - I had a great experience ordering and receiving my order from Beyar's. Yes, there is a $30 minimum order requirement but it is not fair to ask a business to deliver an order for just a few dollars of merchandise (especially at this time!). As a senior citizen I received free delivery...best of all the prices were not inflated but remained at what they were pre COVID-19. Liz, the staff member who took my order, was wonderful. She called back to let me know what was available and what wasn't, and inquired if I had any specific delivery instructions I wanted followed. From start to finish I had my order delivered within 5 hours...COSTCO took 5 days with inflated prices. Beyar's will be my go to place! read more

I am basing my rating on product. Deli meats. Deli salads and breads awesome. The house has a delicious rice pudding the pickiest person loves. There meat is always fresh. Need to order a platter for an event call them it will get done. Customer service I have nothing to say its business business business!!!
