I asked for a Reuben you must know a Reuben gets toasted on the grill. It's made with thousand iron dressing not mustard who put mustard ribbon there was absolutely no cheese. This was the worst sandwich I've ever had well that's incorrect if I wanted to a soggy ripe bread with corned beef that's what I got with mustard and some of the dressing, but it was so wet from the sauerkraut they didn't even dry it. It was disgusting sandwich I've ever had when I called up to complain the Arrogant woman who answered the phone when I call back to complain stayed my husband told her lightly toast the bread this place is clueless. Seems like the locals love this place. They make a killer sandwich as well as salads. They are pumping out sandwiches in this place which is a good sign. I went with the caesar salad with fried eggplant. They also do catering for Christmas which is convenient for anyone not into cooking. Apparently they open early too so you can get breakfast. The inside of the place isn't too impressive but they have a small dining area connected to the place. I love a good deli and this is one of them. Check it out when in the area! read more

This place is a hidden gem! I've been working across the street on the opposite side of Hylan Blvd for years now and really never tried it until recently when I found it in a search online! Food: let me tell you their heroes and breakfast is PHENOMENAL! It tastes like my nanna made the food Service: not only have I ordered and the food came in less than 30 minutes, I also have been there in person to pick up and the service is great. The energy there is perfect for someone who is going to read the newspaper or a book on a Sunday morning with their coffee. Loved it there! Neither disappointed - the omelets were HUGe and stuffed with fillings (I never took a pic) For dinner we went with the massive Triple Parm hero and the Double Reuben - got the small size and they were Huge we will def have some leftover for lunch tomorrow! The Bourbon burger was cooked perfect - and the fries.....omg the fries perfectly crispy and salted! So glad I stopped by this place! Saw a sign $5 for a roast beef hero with gravy, had to check it out. One great thing about this place is that it has a parking lot! Being that it's right near the precinct, parking can be a pain in the area, but Ronnie solved the issue! Very cute sandwich shop with two tables that can seat around 5-6 people inside and a small table outside. The $5 roast beef was delicious, just wished there was more gravy because it was good! Tried Ronnie's sandwich shop next door to the 122nd police precinct here on Staten Island yesterday. Got a Pastrami ruben sandwich and an Eggplant Parm sandwich. The pastrami Ruben was real good but the eggplant parm sandwich was a little on the salty side but still good anyway. Overall the place was pretty good and also pretty reasonable. Service came with a smile. Looking forward to trying their other stuff. Now my go to place for hot sandwiches. read more

This is your old school mom and pop shop and it's soooo good. It's very small and quaint with a few seats and tables set up. It's a family owned business and they are the most sweetest and kindest people ever. While I was waiting for my order a nice woman came out and had me try their rice ball. It was out of this world! I ordered 3 sandwiches, all on a roll. Grilled chicken and veggies, friend chicken cutlet with mozzarella and roasted peppers, and chicken cutlet with mozzarella and gravy. All 3 were amazing. Based off this one visit, I will most likely be returning. I had a BLT on a small hero. The sandwich was fresh out of a movie scene. Know how on the big screen a sandwich looks too good to be true? I'm leaving a review because I'm bothered by the review before me about the dirty floors. I have been going to Ronnie's since it's 3rd day in business. From the day I entered there through today, the foot traffic in that place is immense. Of course their floors will get dirty. The ongoing of customers from the time it opens until about 4:00 in the afternoon doesn't leave time to mop and if it did, where would the customers waiting stand? Used to be my favorite sandwich shop. Not anymore. Used to preach this place to my friends for sandwiches. Not sure what the change is about but I've ordered fried eggplant sandwiches since they opened. The last 3 times I'm pretty sure it's microwaved to heat it up, paying almost 20$ for a microwaved sandwich is a rip off. & the eggplant was a soggy disgrace not just this order the last 2 times as well but I think this solidified my time at ronnies and my "fresh mozzarella" seems to look microwaved as well. Nothing fresh about it. Not sure I'll be keeping my business at Ronnie's. I'll give them another try to see if they listen to criticism and step it up and stop microwaving sandwiches. Dont get me wrong great service people and the food is great but I think the standards are being lowered. Charlie's and Royal crown not far away and well worth the extra 10$ for non microwaved food. Whenever I go there eggplant is crispy and fresh mozzarella is actually fresh not a melted soggy mess. Will give another try after this review to see if they step it up. read more

Came across to this place which was not too far from where we were and omg sooo glad we went!! The food was amazing! Everything was freshly made.
