This place will charge you $100 if you're 5 minutes late for your appointment but they will have no problem wasting your time performing a botched console. Went in for a condole Monday and was scheduled a treatment for Wednesday. Tuesday I was given a text canceling the appointment due to some previous medical skin condition. Which is totally fine with me, if you can't perform a procedure due to a previous medicinal condition which is for my safety, But please inform me during the console with an explanation rather than canceling the appointment via text with no descriptive explanation. I came here for laser hair removal on my face. And throughout all the treatments I was very hopeful about my hair being a lot less than I started with, and I was seeing some great results after some of the sessions. However, I'm now about a month past my 6 session, and almost all the hair has grown back, which is odd because there were a few sessions where some of the hair did completely go away in certain areas but that hair looks like it's grown back too. The only real difference I'm seeing is that the hair is a little thinner, but it's still way too much and definitely needs to be waxed weekly. I'm honestly only giving three stars for Dr. Goodwin, she's so sweet and made my experience there really great. I really wish I had seen some better results because I would have loved to come back to get sessions done from her. But realistically this was a huge waste of time money which I paid $1200, and I also have incredibly sensitive skin so this was a pretty painful process for me, which sucks to not get the results I was looking for. I must also add, that it's recommended to get the sessions a certain number of weeks apart to see better results, but there were multiple times I had to sort of fight my way to get a sooner appt because they were scheduling me 8-10 weeks out! There was also no post treatment type of consultation or even just a text or email to see if I'm happy with the results or if I wanted more treatments which I find odd, it sorta felt like Rebecca is really interested in talking to you and helping you and once you've paid, you don't really hear from her or talk to her again. Beyond Aesthetics is my place for all beauty treatments. Rebecca and Dr. Goodwin are personable, friendly, warm, and very professional. I have been working with them for the past years before they opened a bigger office and I am glad to say I have been a loyal customer. My services with them include Juvéderm lip fillers, hydrating facials, and I will be purchasing laser hair removal from them. This review is overdue only because I wanted to wait and utilize a couple different services first, see consistent results, then write an objective review. Here it is. Location: Tons of parking and easy to find. The office itself is ultra clean, sterile, and they use sanitary equipment laid out before arrival. I arrange an appointment with Rebecca and she sets me up a date where I won't have to wait for months. Upon arrival, I never had to wait long to be seen. When I am late, I inform Rebecca via text and she has been more than accommodating to either reschedule or wait for me. I am so thankful for the great customer service! Sometimes, I do feel rushed but that's the trade off with working with such a popular, busy spa. You won't have to wait a long time for a service. Juvéderm Lip Fillers: When I first worked with Dr. Goodwin I am astounded by how patient she was with me. She listens to what I wanted, advised me what she thinks works best and executed perfectly stunning lips. She would go back and forth(hmmm and awwwing) to make sure both my top and bottom lips are SYMMETRICAL and won't leave till I am utterly satisfied. It has been a few years and I have been sending family and friends to this place that has changed my life. I take advantage of their Christmas deals where they offer discounts on the fillers so look out for that during the holidays. Facial: I have had one facial with Rebecca. Fortunately, my skin is non-problematic. I rarely break out, can leave make up on overnight and I will wake up with just slight dryness-nothing else. I felt like my skin could use more hydration and that's what Rebecca gave me. What you ask, you shall receive. I don't remember the exact steps what the facial consisted of, since it was so relaxing that I fell asleep shortly catching up on girl-talk and the dermaplaning. (life saver) I'll elaborate that in a bit. She puts me in this oxygen bubble that was innovative and almost alien-like; felt like all my pores opened and all the icky stuff left my skin. The cool mask also stood out too. She mentioned all her products are from Korea and I am huge fan of Korean facial products. You can trust anything that touches your face at this spa will create results. And the results from the facial? My skin felt hydrated, soft and supple like a baby's bottom. Dermaplanning: My experience with dermaplanning was very pleasant. Rebecca took off peach fuzz off by meticulously scraping off dead skin and hair with a scalpel and left with me clean, bare skin. It's been almost a month and a half, and the hairs barely came back. I won't need to schedule another facial till another month because of its lasting results. I waited to write this review until I finished my 6 laser appointments. I was thinking about coming here for about a year until I decided to make the official consultation. I wish I would have done it much sooner. At my consultation with Rebecca, I kinda already had my mind decided that I wanted to go through with everything. I decided to get extended Brazilian. At first I was really shy since I had only done a wax down there only once and it was extremely painful. But Dr. G made me feel extremely comfortable. By the end, I truly can call her my best friend cause she knows me better than I know myself lol. After my 1st session about 80% of the hair was almost completely gone. The results were day and night I was extremely happy. There was no pain at all. The new alma lasers are not painful honey-so you better get it! After my 3rd session, the hair grew back really sparse and super thin, which was amazing. By my 6th and last session, I was like do I even need the last session? lol. But I still went! I would give negative stars if it was possible! Two years ago I went in for laser hair removal and to get my lips done. The laser hair removal did not work after 6/7 sessions and my lips are now botched. I've been waiting so long to see if my lips would go back to normal and they haven't. I had Juvederm put in my lips last week and I love them. Dr Goodwin did such a good job at placing it in just be right spots in my lower and upper lip. Rebecca was very nice and helpful at answering all my questions about the process since this was my first time having it done. I got 1 cc done with more put into my top than the bottom and I love the way dr Goodwin placed it and made them look. I've gotten so many compliments on them. Where to start... This clinic has no clue about aesthetics, skin or even running a clinic. You're better off doing a facial treatment or your own Botox at home. I witnessed unsanitized medical equipment from prior patients, filthy wipes that were used to clean someone's skin left on a soiled napkin and there was even someone's Botox or fillers needles left on a random tray!!! This is my updated review. It's been a few months since my last session and my hair growth is back to where it used it be. Unfortunately no results. I got laser on my face and armpits at the same time and by my 6th (supposed to be last) treatment, I still had hair growth in both areas. I ended up paying more for my face and did another round of 3 treatments. Sadly even after a total of 9 treatments on my face, my hair still seemed to come back. I was really hopeful for this to work since most clients are told that they'd see a 80-90% reduction, so that's what I was looking forward to. First and foremost, thank you SOOO much to Rebecca for bringing my skin back to life! Honestly, the only place I will ever go to for my skin care needs. PERIOD. A little background of my skin: I suffered from hormonal (cystic) acne from birth control. I've gotten off of it, but even after a few years, my acne never went away. It left me with many dark spots and texture. No matter what products I've used or facials I've gotten from other places, it would always come back. Until I found Beyond Aesthetics, I've contacted them to try their VI Peel, which is a chemical peel (and super popular! Seen so many successful results on her instagram page). It was my first time and I was nervous. Rebecca was super nice and informed me every step of the process. It didn't hurt at all to be honest. More of like a tingly, spicy feeling, but it went away when I had the fan to my face. After that, she went over the after care kit, set up a follow up appointment and I went about my day. The peeling process did not take that long, it took about 6 days for all my skin to peel off leaving me with the most smoothest and brightest skin I've ever had! I'm not even exaggerating on how good my skin looked. Most of my dark spots have faded and texture almost completely gone. I did however did break out a little (from wearing a mask & makeup too soon) after peeling only because the new skin is more susceptible to bacteria, etc. so please make sure you handle your brand new skin with caution after it fully heals! But other than that, my skin has never looked so good. Following up my peel, I started using the skin care that Rebecca recommended and it definitely maintained my skin. PS her toners and face masks are BOMB! Totally worth the investment. I'm currently on my second peel right now to perfect my skin even more. I'll keep you guys updated. I started laser treatments here, but didn't end up finishing because I couldn't stand how poorly I was treated on the day of my last appointment here. I was able to successfully complete one treatment here with Dr.Goodwin, and she was great. On my way out I saw the front desk girl, Rebecca, who looked oddly familiar. Turns out she used to own Ashkins Laser Center, which closed shop without notifying customers or refunding anyone's money for prepaid packages. When we realized that was how we knew each other, she said she kept everyone's files and that I'd be able to finish off my remaining treatment from Ashkins at this new place. Kinda sketchy that a coincidental meeting is how I was offered this, while all the other customers left in the dark are just SOL. For my next appointment, I was heading back into Sacramento a day early from out of town. I was running late, so I called to see whether I should reschedule my appt. Rebecca told me to come in anyways. When I finally showed up after a long drive, she said that Dr.Goodwin was with someone else, and to come in after a half hour. Would've been nice if she told me this over the phone since I told her how late I was running, and was stressed out the whole time trying to stick with the ETA. I waited there for half an hour, came back to the front desk, and no one was there. I called for someone since I heard there was someone back there, but no one came out to help me. I waited there for 10 minutes, and ended up just leaving. I never got a phone call back. Rebecca wasted a colossal amount of my time with her thoughtless suggestions to continue coming for the appt, and waiting on them like I had nothing better to do that day - especially when I was perfectly fine with rescheduling my appt. This treatment paired with the scamming of customers from Ashkins, makes me want to encourage people not to trust this lady. In response to the owner - this review is 100% based on my experience at Beyond Aesthetics. I haven't even written a review for Ashkins since it's not an experience I feel strongly about. The owner says that Rebecca was apparently only an employee when she directly told me that she held onto the patient files, so obviously she played a larger role at that business than they're admitting to. read more

I got a Groupon offer for laser hair removal and was a little unsure, when I called I spoke with Rebecca whom was extremely polite and very knowledgeable. I love the service here. Rebecca and Dr Goodwin are both courteous and professional. Although I moved from Sacramento, I still go back here for their aesthetic services. I have been other places where a painful cynosure laser have been used promising desired results. With the lasers used at beyond aesthetic you do not have to go through the pain to achieve the promising results. I really love the staff there. Rebecca is very quick and prompt. Dr. Goodwin is very personable. Laser hair removal, not so good though. I'm so disappointed that I bought a groupon for $157 for my armpits, and after 6 sessions it was still bad. The staff assured me that everyone was different and I might need another 3 sessions just to make sure they got all the hairs. So I ordered three more. Before that, I had bought a deal for a brazillion during Valentine's Day. I was doing both at one appointment. I wish I had waited till I realized that my armpits wasn't working. I have had a total of 9 sessions for my armpits and 5 for my brazillion. I'm thinking of not even going to my last session because I'm just so disappointed. When Dr. Goodwin asked me how my armpits were doing, I told her not good. I showed her, and she just gave me a shocked face and said OH. She didn't offer me anything, in which I think they should. I'm not that hairy, and my hairs weren't thick and coarse. So with 9 sessions, my hair should have been gone. My sister did laser at other places, and 6 sessions were enough for her, and we have the same hair. Please save your money. I spent over $600 for something that didn't work. I wish I could get my money back or something. But I'm going to try and help others save theirs. read more

Waste of money please don't come here!!! I bought a deal off Groupon 6 Lazer treatments in a (small) area for $157.00 I was so excited of course to think I'd no longer deal with facial hair, anyway I completed my treatments and hair is still growing there was NO success as Dr G seen it she offered 1 more session, but I asked myself "what is 1session going to do that 6 sessions haven't" Rebecca was awesome at scheduling days that fit with u, and Dr G seems like a good person regardless of her background complaints she's got. But the PROBLEM here is they are continuing to operate business with Lazer machines that have been either recalled, expired or light bulbs are low. Lesson learned for me & I hope my comment will help you to make a better choice if it sounds too good 2 B true it probably is!!! read more

This review is for Laser Hair Removal & Derma Sweep facial: I started my services here 2 years ago when I bought the Groupon for laser hair removal for happy trail. Some places give you less customer service or treat you different when you bring Groupon deals but Rebecca & Dr. Goodwin gave me the utmost respect and made me feel so comfortable throughout my consultation & (now) many treatments. They both are very professional and give me detailed answers when I ask questions. Now moving on to my results: My results for happy trail were so drastic that I immediately purchased underarms and shortly after the Brazilian package. The outcome is phenomenal and very little pain so it is 100% WORTH it. Between my sessions I am able to go the full 6 weeks without shaving bc anything that grows now falls out on its own. Thank you Dr. Goodwin for making me hair free! :) I'm very happy with the treatment and will continue purchasing more areas for laser. One thing that is great about this business is how often they look to improve and expand their list of services. Rebecca has recently added the Derma Sweep facial and omg she knows what she is doing. Before my facial she evaluated my skin and knew my problem areas before I shared them with her, I have very dry/rough skin and often feel self conscious about it.. during my facial I felt so relaxed & could already feel a difference in my skin. And now after.. I felt like she gave me a new face! I was GLOWING. And not for just the day.. for weeks after and it was only my first one. I was skeptical when a friend told me the laser here doesn't hurt because I have had laser hair removal before and it felt like a thousand bees stinging me. I purchased a groupon for a small site and got a Saturday appointment. NO PAIN AT ALL. I then decided to purchase a large site after seeing the results. I also purchased some botox over the holidays. Rebecca and Dr Goodwin make a great team and let me tell you that the laser hair removal machine works great. I could see results after the first treatment. I have no words but to recommended this place. Rebecca is so sweet and genuine. I love how she even explains what she is doing and what the producer will do to my skin. Please Do Not Come Here! I had 3 sessions at somewhere else, and i wasn't so happy with the staffs there, so i decided to try this place. I called Rebecca and asked about my situation, i asked her if i could continue what i was left off at the other place. Rebecca said they can do it here. So i decides to give it a shot. After I finished my 6 sessions of armpit hair removal, i noticed my hair is still there. They're just less thick, but STILL GROW BACK . I'm so disappointed with the treatment here. I have yet to experience an appointment here, so my current review is based solely on my quick impression of this business' great customer service. According to their hours, they are closed Saturday-Monday. I inquired with questions about a facial on Saturday and although they were closed, Rebecca was quick to respond to me. She even called me to get my questions answered before she boarded a plane. Lol! If that's not good customer service, then I don't know what it is.
